If you want to write something into system partition, you need root access.
So manual "repair" needs to root your phone again first.
If you don't want to root again, you can flash the ROM again to your phone.
The ROM will overwrite some partitions, such as system, and will re-create the deleted file.
Flashing a stock ROM with Odin does not need to root your phone.
Good luck !

The process starts while the phone is OFF.
1. Turn OFF your phone.
2. Connect your mobile with your computer using USB cable.
3. While off, hold the Volume down Key, then the Home (Center) key.
4. While holding both buttons, turn on your phone.
5. The phone will boot in Download mode.
6. Press Volume up to continue in Download mode.
7. Open Odin on your computer, it should be like the first picture of the tutorial linked above.
8. Click the PDA button, select the firmware file and press Start.
9. Wait until Odin writes "All threads completed" and says PASS! on a green box on the top left.
10. Disconnect your mobile from your computer.
11. Power on your mobile, and you're done!

Check the attached screenshot of Odin.
All tasks seems to be completed but nothing is done, and the phone does not move from the downloading mode screen.

Well, after rebooting !everything!, it seems that now it works...
Thats probably sorcery !
Maybe not, thanks !
1. Download a full stock Rom for Odin.
2. Boot the phone into download mode (volume down + power + home).
3. Fire up Odin and place the Rom files as instructed.
4. Connect phone to PC.
5. After Odin shows it recognizes the phone, press start.

You really should learn to read a bit of english.
In order to flash this ROM you need the nAa ICS kernel too, which is mentioned in the same post where you got the download from.
But anyway to get your phone working again:
Leave it disconnected from your PC
Start PC Companion or SEUS (whichever you have)
Choose update
(It can't find any updates because your phone is NOT connected to your PC)
It will give you a repair option
click it
it will warn you you will lose all your user-data. (accept that)
it will let you choose your phone-model from a list
choose your phone-model and click next
it will download the firmware and ask you to connect your phone in flashmode
(turn off your phone, press the back-button and plug in the usb-cable OR plug in your usb-cable, press HOME and POWER buttons at the same time until the screen goes really really black and then push the BACK button)
If the dialog on your computer-screen disappears, leave your phone alone until it says it's done.
After these steps, you can try everything again.

Ok so basically I assume you know how to use Odin and what it is? You will need the phone's original firmware, which you can then flash to your phone via odin using the 'PDA' button. All of this will be done while your phone is connected via USB to your computer, and make sure it is in 'Download Mode' (vol down + home + power) when flashing it.

Could have at least read the rules mate, and/or seen the xda 'noob' vid, search, but I understand your urge to fix your precious phone.
Anyway, I would go about it like I said above:
- Download original firmware (.tar.md5 file)
- Open Up Odin, then click on 'PDA' and select the original firmware file
- Make sure 'Auto Reboot' and 'F. Reset Time' are CHECKED
- Boot into Download Mode on your phone
- Connect the phone to your computer
- On Odin, press 'Start'
- Wait for it to finish flashing
After that, your phone should reboot automatically and work again

Stop panicing! That just makes everything worse
First of all; have you got a USB download-mode jig? If yes, use that. That will basically force the device into Odin mode, so you can re-do the flash
If you don't have one, then buy one from:
eBay
Amazon
mobiletechvideos(.com)
or get the stuff, make your own
Once you have any type of Jig/Dongle, whatever you want to call it, I call it a jig, plug it into the phone. Unplug the jig and plug the phone (via USB cable) into the computer, start Odin and flash stock firmware (Which ever you want, GB or ICS)
Once you've done that, flash any type of C.-recovery and then you can (carefully) flash a different ROM. I would recommend using recovery-programs anyway, as they esnure that everything goes to plan, Odin just flashes away and checks everything AFTERWARDS, CWM checks before AND after
Well, anyway, hope I could help you!
Thanks

Resetting won't help anyways since you flashed for the wrong device. You need to go in the download mode which is power + vol. down + home button, then via Odin flash your firmware.

Sounds like you flashed something in Odin that was not for your phone. You probably need to get it J-tagged to get it fixed. Check out mobiletechvideos.com
It's like $50 dollars for the service, they'll J-tag your phone and flash the correct bootloader.

Since the phone will turn on, and initiate the boot process, it should be able to recover it yourself. Jtag is for true hard bricks, which your phone is NOT.
Please give a full description of what led up to your problem. What firmware was on the phone before, what did you attempt to flash, and anything that you can think of that would provide any additional information for trouble shooting. Also, a link to the firmware you tried to flash.

Try this:
Pull the battery and leave it out.
Hold down volume button and plug in the USB cable. (PC will supply the power)
This should boot the phone into download mode.
If the above works to get into download mode, do the following:
Download the I777 secondary bootloader .tar from the Download Repository. See the link in my signature.
Unplug the phone (to shut off)
Open Odin v1.85 on screen of pc.
Enter download mode as above.
When connected put the secondary bootloader in the PDA slot in Odin and flash.

I just recently got my SGS2 (i777) and decided to root it. Unfortunately I got the root from another site (dumb move) and today the phone went into a reboot loop. I can connect it and get it into download mode, but everytime I try to flash back to the stock rom, or anything else (bootloader) Odin says connection failed, unable to open COM Port. I know it connects because it installs the drivers for the phone. Can someone MUCH smarter that me assist with this one?

can you interrupt the bootloop by trying to get to recovery (holding VOL UP + VOL DOWN + POWER until recovery menu appears) and then go to backup-restore and restore a backup? That's what I would try. IF that does not work, I would reinstall the drivers for andoid on your pc --even though you had them working (presumably) once before. After reinstalling the drivers then odin should (may!) see the phone and work.
good luck
Dear friends and experts,

I had a similar issue(more than once) and in my case I split the myFirmware file into it's 3 individual parts using Cygwin and SplitFUS2 and flashed from that with Odin 1.85. You could do this with FW file S5830IJPLK1_S5830IOJPLI1_XSG. I also used the pit file(cooperve_0623.pit), but I'm not sure if it was required but point is, it worked.
I also got out of trouble with the use of a backup which although not solid did get me out of trouble. The backup would not restore so I loaded ClockWorkMod recovery and in advanced restore, restored the system folder from my backup, this worked and got me into the phone. However you may not have a backup.

normally. It'll take 5-10 Minutes for booting
because it is now booting in a new ROM.
And that's it, your phone is now back! Your
phone has got back the Stock ROM !

I have done it but still this issue of booting up persists. What do you think? Is it a hardware related issue or still I can make it live with some flashing techs....
thanks

If this solution doesn't work, then your only solution is USB Jig.

Whenever I flash back my stock rom using odin on my Galaxy Ace, it gives me a bootloop just like yours. The simple solution for this is go to recovery mod and do a "Wipe data/ factory reset". That's it now reboot. It should work fine. Please try this. Hope I Helped
use Odin3 v1.84 for Samsung Galaxy Ace-i instead
Its working........great.........
If u want to flash then use "Odin3.v3.07.Cooperve" and also put "cooperve_0623.pit" in pit tab...........
why odin3 v3.07 can't detect my phone, my phone displays odin mode and at the bottom donloading do not turn off target, nothing happens..
