Connection issue Lumia 800 -> PC - Nokia Lumia 800

FIXED
Hello,
Since yesterday I am not able to connect my Phone to Zune. I tried another laptop wich worked fine..
What I tried so far:
Reinstall zune + drivers.
Reinstall Windows 8.
Hard reset WP7.8
Diffrent USB port.
Even the device manager is not regonizing my Phone, or unknown hardware. Though it is connecting to another laptop. Other USB hardware does not give any problems.
Any help?
Dravik

Seems that my USB cable is dead, tried diffrent USB hardware on my cable wich are also not wokring..
Thanks

No, just uninstall everything on pc affiliated with nokia, except ncs itself and zune, and reboot your pc.

[Q] Help can't install any HSPL

HI !
I have an HD² with official Operator's ROM and my HD² never sync with my computer.
I want to know if it's possible to Flash everything without any sync (only by SD)?
Thanks a lot for my LEO
settings menu all settings connections connections usb to pc, untick "faster data". restart the pc, restart the phone.
it should now sync fine.
Thanks for the Answer, but I've already do this and the results is the same.
Sorry about my English cause I'm French
Go into Bootloader Mode (hold Volume button down while switching on the phone). You will get a tri colour screen with the word 'Serial' at the bottom of it. Plug in the USB calbe and it should change to 'USB'. If this happens then you can run HSPL and then ROMs - just ignore the conditions about making an ActiveSync connection prior to running.
I've already try this
But not exactly how you say.
I've plug the in the USB calbe when the HD2 was Off, and after loading the bootloader.
And nothing was happen.
Juste the 3 colors and the SPL version but never "USB" or "Serials", serial appears only if I don't plug the cable.
Load it into Bootloader Mode, then connect the USB cable - and see if the 'Serial' changes to 'USB'. If it doesn't, then you have a hardware problem (phone or cable or computer).
I think it's a Phone probleme.
Cause I've a Samsung wave and I havn't any problem with the same cable and the same computer.
Also I can't flash my HD²...

Turn KIES off from taskbar .
Turn USB debugging on phone connect USB mass storage mode and let windows find driver .
That do work try all the other posts same subject for an alternative .

Tried all of the above, still no go, could it be my micro usb port on the phone is busted? When i tried connecting as Mass storage it says usb cable is connected, pls remove cable.

No thats just incorrect user settings .
Remove cable go to settings Applications Turn on USB debugging .

Yup, I did. I removed cables and turned on USB debugging, and tried the mass storage mode, upon connecting it says cable connected and to remove.
I'm getting this problem once I'm in Download mode. It's worked before... why would it stop?
Any tips?
I have the same problem
I seem to have the same problem I connect my phone via USB and get a USB Device Not Recognized message but MTP application opens on the phone. This has only just happened I have had it working before since I had the phone on 2 computers and have tried to different cables now it does not work on either computer. If any one has had any luck I would love to know how you fixed it.
Samsung Galaxy S2 - USB Device not recognized.
Hey Guys,
I have the same problem. I've even tried going into "Recovery" Mode and then running odin.. Still no luck. It just does not recognize the phone.
I tried a different cable but still no luck.
Guys,
i had had the same problem until i started to use the original USB cable(came with the phone).
Have a good luck!
Kirby
Got the same usb problem, different pc's, driver, cables nothing works.
After three month of use no Kies Odin ore mass storage us....big problem
any news info on this? seems to be quite common, though I only get it with stock roms, custom roms dont seem to have this issue
Cables Guy; I'm trying to figure out if I'm having the same problem as you. Does your phone charge when plugged in? Because mine does not.
i think in your case it might be the usb port in the phone itself, if nothing that you plug works well.
I believe there is an issue with kies/MTP and windows drivers for the rest though.
For me my phone doesnt get detected o nmy onboard USB but it does on the usb3 pccard i have.
any good news to solve this problems?
i got the same problem and worst case is my phone cannot detect sim
I had the same problem.. I just switched back to the original cable that came with the phone & problem was solved..

PC not recognizing USB

This is a new issue, it used to work fine, but now, whenever I plug a USB cable into my phone and PC, nothing happens on the PC(No usb found sound) and the phone just shows that it is charging. I opened Device Manager and plugged the phone in and it did not refresh or find anything new. No Unknown Devices in DM either. Currently I am working with a Windows 7 x86 laptop.
Things I have tried:
-Different PC
-Different USB cable
-Factory Reset
-Uninstall/reinstalled HTC drivers
I dont know what the issue is, do I have a bad USB port? Any suggestions?
same problem

[Q] Can't connect the phone with PC using USB cable.

Hello guys, I recently bought an Atrix 4G from UK. The problem is that when I connect it with USB cable with PC (Windows 7 32bit) the PC recognize that the phone is connected but nothing appears on the notification bar on the phone. First tried with original FW 2.2.2 orange, after that rooted, unlocked the bootloader and installed CM7 but it is the same thing with it. I installed the latest USB drivers using motorola driver installing program from the official site, tried with other cable but nothing. RSD lite recognize it if this will help.. Does anyone know how to fix this issue.

Question for you.... do you have an micro sd card in the atrix? That could be an issue. Also, you can look at your computer's usb settings to see if your phone can be forced into usb mode that way. Just giving some ideas.
Yes, I have SD card, tried without it but the same thing - no notification on the phone and nothing happen on the PC except the sound of connecting a USB device. How can I force it in USB mode?

Try looking in settings of the computer for USB drives.
That's when I start exploring a bit in that area when stuff doesn't connect to my laptop.

Didn't find this function. Anyway the point is that the computer recognizes the phone but the phone does not show anything in the notification bar.
I just solved the problem :
1 - Turn off the phone.
2 - Turn on while holding volume up (RSD protocol mode)
3 - Connect the phone with USB cable to the PC, wait for windows to install the drivers, and disconnect.
4 - Restart the phone, and before connecting to the PC type in the dial box #5.
5 - Connect it with the USB cable.
I saw this advice from other forum.
I know it sounds stupid but this worked for me. Thanks anyway for the separated time.
Thank you
your advice saved my life
Lost usb connection with my laptop and home pc 3 days ago
Tried everithing you know what I mean
Most advices are for babies in kindergarten:
- bad usb cable
- wrong usb port
- usb debugging
- drivers
BS!
#5 really works / you need actually dial #5 with your phone app and then quick connect cable
I had the same problem ... I had to send it to motorola for warranty and they changed my mainboard!
Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
try the usb ports in the back of the pc with the "original usb cable for the atrix
also if your rooted download a teathering app called pda.net install it on your phone and pc it will provide proper drivers for the atrix
at&t atrix's had to do this when we were on 2.2 and it sure does work!
Thanks!
Thank you for this! Dialing #5 made the trick!
