buy an other battery if you found battery with 2000 mah its great
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239719
or try to calibtrate your battery with calibrate app from play store
Maybe kernel faulty ? Or hardware ? I don't think it's battery problem...
Merry christmas and Happy new year

Hi all,
Can't find a solution to this - the screen switches on after the phone is charged to 100% and stays on. Happens overnight while it charges when im asleep. Don't like the idea of the screen staying on for so long.
No one?

Hi guys, I have bought a new battery, it is 3500mA. I can charge it and use it, but android doesn't see it as a 3500 battery but it see 1700mA. How its possible? And the max voltage is around 4250
Anyway this is my first charge.

I think i have solved wiping dalvik and cache. Anyway help is appreciated
Inviato dal mio HTC EVO 3D X515m con Tapatalk 2
Please i realy need help, i don't understand why it doesn't full charge.
At full charge i have this:
Voltage: 4214mV (with stock was about 4.350)
Capacity: 1700mA detected by Kernel Tuner app
I'm sure the battery is good, i have accidentally completely drained the battery before do a full charge. But i have asked about this to my professor of my classroom and he say that i can stay quiet. Please help :S
I'm moving this to Accessories section.
It sems that is discharge like stock battery :'( why?!
Inviato dal mio HTC EVO 3D X515m con Tapatalk 2
it sounds like its one of the batteries that is just 2 x1700 without the chip that tells the phone it is double capacity, if you run it down to a low percent then turn off the phone take out the battery and replace it will show 50 % I dont know the whole story or technical reasons, but i have a Sino batt that does it, there is plenty written about it in this section somewhere
Sent from my HTC EVO 3D X515m using xda premium
So what i have to do?
Inviato dal mio HTC EVO 3D X515m con Tapatalk 2
You can peel the label and it'll show the actual mah capacity.
The only thing you can do is return it. If you can't, than you'll have to chalk it up as a loss.
There isn't a way, like change some setting or edit a file to set battery to 3500mA??

What brand is it?
Doesn't have a brand. Here it is: eBay Link

Its the battery, what i said before, its missing a circuit that tells the phone its a single battery and not 2x1700.
I have one that does the same and 2 that dont, best one I am using now is a yoobao from here, great batter no problems http://www.obostore.com/3500mah-yoobao-extended-battery-for-htc-evo-3d-p-2883.html

No probably 50% usually. If you take it down to 10% then reboot you should find 60%.. Roughly

High capacity battery sometimes has been reported wrong capacity by OS, especially battery made from unknown China manufacturers. Be careful when you use these kind of batt because it may harm your phone and you also (exploding...). Only use stock battery from HTC for you and your device safety.

If your battery has grown fat, it's not normal. It's about time you change it ! Mine is not fat at all. Just old.

Will it damage my device if I don't get it changed?
I've heard of batteries exploding. Better change it.

Useless thread.
Batterylife depends on rom, age of battery and usage.

Do you browse continuously for 5hrs & the battery still survives ? I browse for an hour & 15 & the battery then would be about 14%. It lasts 0.5 hrs more & I need to charge it back. Btw, mine is about 1.5 yrs old.

So do you say that I need to buy a new battery ?I'll post my screenies soon.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
Yes I recommend you bu a new one as I bought one just yesterday and here are the screenshots I only charged it to 80% as it's the way to extend battery lifetime by only charging it to 80% of it's capacity I extend it's battery up to 1.5 years... Really trust me I have killed my old battery in just 1 year by over using and always leaving it to charge to it's maximum capacity... So if you need tips to extend the batteries total lifetime I'm always here...
So can you please upload them ASAP as I want to compare it to my brand new battery... K?

Hi guys, I'm planning to replace my battery with double power (2000 mAh) Is this safe or no?
Sent from my GT-S5830i using Tapatalk 2
As long as it has the same voltage I think there should be no problem
You should use suitable charge device for your own security.
Does anyone ever do this?

Nothing to do unfortunately
You could switch your phone to airplane mode if you don't wish to be connected to the network.

I don't find it normal. This is the first phone I own that decides to turn on when I explicitly turned it off. Annoying.
so it's not just my phone ... I feel less worried
The same happens with iPhones and iPads...

Don't know which iPad you have or if you had it jailbreaked, I have the iPad Pro 2017
For information see also:
If the iPad is completely turned off, and you plug it in to charge, it will turn itself on. This is by design. There is nothing wrong with this.

@themissionimpossible Maybe it's a"pro" feature...Glad I don't have it. ?
My Huawei mate 20 pro boots up when connected to charger even if i power it off after i plug it.
I think i have found the solution for this problem from this post
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72525548&postcount=11
Also in youtube video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zp9G6A6EFlA&feature=youtu.be
in the description says to use this command "fastboot oem-off-mode charge 1"
which is a little bit different from the above post.
I don't feel enough confident to try it my self i hope someone with better experience could tell us if this working.
I wish to have this function in Mediapad M3 8.4
