no sure what to do but when i ran into this problem i had to flash fast boot files (go back to stock rom) install droid drivers and here you go http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/t...-182-windows-for-verizon-droid-razrmaxx-only/

thanks but it says its only for ics right?

You're on ICS. The CM10 ROM is still ICS-based because you haven't replaced the kernel nor the bootloader. Unless, of course, you've never updated your Droid RAZR from Gingerbread to ICS.

thanks but my phone is GSM :|

Just download a stock-ish version of ics for your model on your computer, transfer it to your external SD card via card reader on your PC. Put the SD card back in your phone.
Wipe everything, except external SD of course.
Flash the stock-ish rom like you would any other. And you'll have to set your phone back up again, but it will be usable again.

Search Google for a Rom Manager apk and download it either to your phone or to a computer and move it to your SD card then install it.
Use AIO toolbox and use that to install a 2.2 ROM. It will put cwm recovery to install the ROM. And from there you can get it from the market.
I am having the same problem. I ODINed back to stock, rooted, and went to the market and there is no free version on the ROM Manager there anymore. I tried googleing for one, found it and then tried installing and got a "parsing error". Now im stuck on a holding pattern until I can find one. SUCKSSSSSSSSSSS

This is the ticket. Its the option b update.zip . I had tried flashing it before but forgot I needed to do it twice. Jstewart- download the update.zip, put it on the root of your internal SD card, then use the 3 button method to reboot into recovery, o nce there scroll to reinstall packages, select it, you will see the yellow recovery text scrolling and then it will return to stock recovery, select reinstall packages again and it should send you into CWR. It helps if you already have your chosen ROM downloaded because you can install the zip directly from here, if you reboot you without flashing new ROM you still wont have the app but next time you go to recovery it will be stock again, just reinstall packages once more to get back to CWR and then proceed to flash away.
Now, can someone hook me up with the CM 7 Googleapps.zip?

I had a guy odin my vibrant from 4.4 ics back to 2.1 eclair due to my generic imei and 911 calling issues. Now, I have the same problem as mentioned above. I think I know why I used to get the p-a-r-s-e error. These apps were simply not compatible with the eclair rom. Rom Manager v4.7.0.2 is compatible with eclair, installed, and flashed recovery without issues. I am now on my way to restore my WeUI

Update: I was happy for few minutes until running into another issue in the recovery. During the update, it says:

Any suggestions?

You have to put the update.zip on the root of your phone(meaning no folder). When you connect your phone to your pc and click your internal storage it should be at the very bottom and NOT in a folder.

It's always been there. The problem lies somewhere else..
It happens when I choose the "Install ROM from SD card" option. I choose the rom from my sd card (root, next to update.zip file). It reboots and gives the error.

B " INSTALL CLOCKWORK RECOVERY AND FLASH A ROM THAT WILL GIVE ROOT ACCESS (MY PREFERRED METHOD):
– use the other update.zip (1.7MB) and this will flash CWR for you – allowing you to immediately flash a custom ROM.. . What I mean is....Can I do this method even though I already have Root...without wrecking my Samsung Vibrant. I have the original stock eclair rooted and have done nothing to the phone except rooting it via the Root only method. Any ideas? Should this work for me?

Yes you will be fine doing that, custom ROMs come rooted so that's why everyone usually skips option A unless they plan on staying on 2.1 eclair.

[Q] Flashing Rom Help!

Right, I have a Motorola Razr XT910 GSM (As I am in the UK) fully rooted. Whenever I turn my phone on I go straight on the CWM screen, not a problem. But how do I flash roms, I've tried the method of going into 'install zip from sd card' but doesn't seem to work, as it ends up saying 'installation aborted' but why? I know theres another, alternative metod (fastboot) but how do I do that on my mac? I'm so confused by this thanks!

have you tried to redownload the file? You might have come across a bad download.

having the files doesnt answer the question. Assuming you downloaded all those, on the same device, same browser. Could be that they're all bad.
use different browser, PC. download again, and try again.
The error is caused by the file your flashing. not CWM.
then ill use my phone and download them thats the only other source i have then ill try flashing cm7 or ultimatum i want to try cm7 and cm9 but this problem is stopping me
my phone wont download .zip files from the site provided so i ahve to retry with my computer
ok i think i resolved the problem. i had usb debugging on and it wasnt going into mtp initialization i was using usb mass storage.
i turned usb debugging off mtp-initialization activated and i transferred ultimatum2.0 rc1 and just installed it i tried cm7 but that didnt work so im back to ultimatum and im going to try to get cm7, and cm9, to work now
Are u trying to install all these from external sd card? If so could it be yer sd card is messed up? Just throwing this out there, hope u can get it resolved.

[Q] Upgrading from xt910 404 stock to CM10.1

Followed the instructions on the main page of official CM 10.1 & ended up with a bootloop. Wiped caches and user data over & over with no change, so I'm about to downgrade back to 4.0.4 using RSD lite. I'm still determined to get to CM 10.1 on this device though but how do I do that now?
I saw "setting 2init" but I can't make any sense of what it means or how I can make use of it.
While trying to figure it out, I found the guide to upgrade to official JB but the JB OTA file it points to is for the xt912 (I'm using the xt910).
NOTE: I'm not going with the official JB, but it is the only other comprehensive guide I could find for upgrading from 4.0.4.
How do I get CM 10.1 on this phone now?

No. thankfully I can still get to recovery & fastboot
Make sure you install it in second system, your razr will bricked if you install on the first system
And also, make sure you wipe cache/dalvik cache before flashing and factory reset(if you are going to install a other rom) . You need to format /system and wipe cache/dalvik if you are going to update cm10.1 to a new nightly .

You are now using the official cm10.1. and why does your first system is gone? its dangerous, dont leave it like that, make the stock rom as a backup if something happens at the other system
the reason its showing nothing when you booted your phone is becuase you have wiped you first system! so now i recommend you to factory reset in the stock revocery and flash the 672.180.14.XT910.Retail.en.EU firmware at this link : http://sbf.droid-developers.org/umt...SPDRICSRTGB_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot.xml.zip

I literally just finished using RSD Lite to reflash a new ICS rom back onto stock slot. So I'm safe. I'll be working with slot 2 now.
So TheMrcool212 you're saying to use the tutorial to pave the way for CM 10.1? Does it matter that my device is from the UAE?

Because the ROM slot stock contains the original ROM, por stock ROM if you wipe it and didnt make a backup or the ROM you flash doesnt work you could brick your de vice, verter make a romslot1 and flash there just to be safe

The only way to get your stock rom back is via pc.
Uninstall moto drivers, restart pc,install them again and try to change usb port.
