Dear all of you,
I'm having a question related to my Sony Ericsson Jolie prototype Windows Phone.
I want to cook a new ROM for it, because the version of the OS on the phone is 6327.Mainline.
I would love to cook a nodo, mango or perhaps 7.8 version for it.
But the problem is that first of all, I don't know how to extract the current ROM from the phone.
I can enter some menu's though, Factory Test Mode from Foxconn, a BLDR boot mode from USB (pc recognizes it as a Qualcomm CDMA Tegnologies MSM, and the WP7 recovery mode (black and white phone and pc connection image, like zune backup) and when I connect to my pc it recognizes it as a QSD8x50, there's an ADIAG mode UART, FTM Mode, USB KITL and SLDR mode.
And second of all, there is some sort of bootmode to flash a new firmware, but it's called RUT application. Don't know what that is, maybe related to the RUU files for flashing new ROM's.
Does somebody has some usefull help?
Thanks in advance!

Hy I've got that phone too, how can you get these modes: Factory Test Mode from Foxconn, a BLDR boot mode from USB, WP7 recovery mode, ADIAG mode UART, FTM Mode, USB KITL and SLDR mode? Thanks a lot!

I am trying to flash from the bootloader to recover from an installation error on my Fuze. I've entered into the tricolor bootloader screen by holding down Vol.down and reset. Now, when I plug the phone into the computer, the computer recognize the phone as a Qaulcomm CDMA Technologies MSM, and is trying to install a driver for it (which it cannot find.) When I run the Custom_RUU, it does not find my Fuze and is showing a ERROR[260]: Connection.
What am I doing wrong? Do I need to find a driver for Qualcomm first? I searched, and it seemed that when you enter bootloader to flash, it is suppose to say USB at the bottom. Mine says Serial. Does that matter?
If more information is needed to troubleshoot:
SPL is SPL-1.90.OliNex
Phone is unlocked by using Olinex's unlocker
Rom was EnergyRom 3.0 Phoenix 51909
Problem was caused because I tried to install Studio Kuma Traditional Chinese Fonts on it. That program works flawlessly on a WM6.1. Of course, Energy 3.0 are WM6.5, hence causing the problem.
Any assistance is very appreciated.
Try sd card flashing
You have connect your device to your USB port and let it find the drivers. In order for it to download the drivers, you must have Activesync or Windows Mobile Device Center.
Once you have one of those downloaded, launch it and connect the device while it is running normally. Opt to connect via Activesync on your phone. You don't have to have these running in the future but you need it to find the drivers and install them. Leave the Activesync connection intact while you run the Flash program.
Once the phone reboots in bootloader mode, the PC will probably download some more drivers. The Flasher will probably time out while the drivers are being downloaded and installed. Keep trying.
Once the bootloader drivers are downloaded and installed, try to run the Flasher program again. Sometimes you'll need a reboot if something is hung up.
You SHOULD be able to reboot, put the phone in bootloader mode (Down + Power + Reset) and it should change "SERIAL" into "USB". Once it displays "USB" you are good to go. Load up the Flasher program and it should go all the way through without the assistance of ActiveSync or Mobile Device Center.
I always flash in bootloader mode, I just know the initial pairing is rough.
Well, I flashed from sd card, and the phone is working now. Thanks for everyone's replies.

You just found the recovery mode, you need that to reinstall your backup if your update fails.

They both work with this mode, but normally you don't have to acces the mode only when your update fails you can manage it by pushing the both buttons you mentioned.
It happens with me that my update fails, (I'm using a 710) and the phone was only acceseble by this mode but unfortunally I couldn't flash any rom to my phone using this mode, not even my backup, I had to bring it to a repair centre, so please be carefull with your device.
Greetz,
Hello. I'm new here. and not native speaker.
I'll try my best for English.
My device got soft bricked after I'm trying to install the new ROM.
Actually I had installed the ROM but It didn't appear anything.
Then I'd try to restore my backup to Its place.
It made my phone brick.
I can't boot into recovery mode, ROM and also FTM mode.
I must have an access to adb, If I want to boot into bootloader.
But I don't have any access to it at all!!.
I had read some post and I hope that DFU can help me.
But I don't know how can I boot into that mode.
And I had try hold volume + and - with and without power button but it still the same.
I had read that the DFU mode will display nothing but have the briefly red led.
I had accident plug the USB to device without battery.
And I got it, The briefly red led light with nothing change in the display (still nothing).
My computer recognizes it as a ZTE technology device. But It's in an unspecified device zone.
I had installed the ZTE USB device (My computer is MS Windows 8.1) and I had also installed it with unsigned driver mode too.
What could I do for getting it to work again?
Have I found the correct DFU mode?
My device is ZTE V817.
With MSM8225Q CPU and MSM7627A board platform specified in default.prop.
Hey guys,
So I wanted to try out the newest CM12 ROM with A5.0 but seems like it didnt exactly happen how I wanted it. Rooting the device and then installing the XZDualRecovery without a problem. Then downloaded the ROM and gapps.
I have SGP311 (pollux_windy) so I downloaded that version of the CM12 at first. It said that my device is pollux, which I ofc was dumb enough to just skip and download the pollux ver and then install that one. So I installed the pollux ver instead of pollux_windy and when I hit restart device I didnt see it boot again.
So I wanted to connect it to my PC, PC didnt recognize it ofc. Only way my PC regonizes my tab is by fastboot mode. I had to install a driver for that. And even then only the Sony Mobile Flasher by Androxyde recognised it. I run into bootloop various times before with my tab and Emma always fixed it but thats unfortunately not the case here as Emma doesnt recognise it either :/
So now here's the problem, I can only do fastboot mode (not flashmode) and the only program able to do sth with my device is this Sony Mobile Flasher. I downloaded a official FW there and wanted to install it but it required me to go into the flashmode which I can't.
Is there sth I can do? The only thing working is the LED and fastboot mode.
Is there a way to put the device into flashmode via PC, that would solve all issues or maybe a trick to go into flashmode? As there was some thread about it but the thing they did didnt work for me :/
Please help
Thanks in advance
Nevermind, I just forgot how to use Emma....
For anyone to whom this happens:
Computer: Open Emma from the Start menu of your computer.
Connect a USB cable to your computer.
Phone: Turn off your tab.
Connect your tab to the USB cable while holding the VOLUME DOWN.
Computer: Select the software you want to flash in the Service list. The tool automatically detects the tab and lists available software versions, which are called Services in this flash tool.
Click on Apply Service. The tab will now be flashed.
Phone: When you have flashed your device, you can disconnect your phone from the computer. The first time you start your device after you have flashed it, the boot-up might take a little longer than normal.
Hi,
My BLA-L09 (Mate 10 Pro) is bricked due to a bad firmware update. I have a black screen, I cannot enter any mode (recovery, fastboot). But when I plug/unplug the phone, Windows detects it. I've downloaded (and paid some credits) DC-Phoenix. Now the phone is detected as a USB COM 1.0 device since I've installed the driver as explained here https://www.dc-unlocker.com/flash-bricked-huawei-phones-in-huawei-1-mode. With Dc-Phoenix, I can boot into fastboot mode thanks to testpoint mode. But my problem is that everytime I leave fastboot mode, the phone screen turn to black (like if it's shut down).
I guess my board software is broken, so I would lilke to re-install a fresh board software (via testpoint fastboot mode using Dc-Phoenix), but unfortunatelly, I cannot find a place to download board software for BLA-L09.
Anyone knows where we can find board software for BLA-L09?
Is there another way to unbrick my phone? Considering I can go in fastboot mode, I hope there is still a chance!
