I have already unlocked the bootloader on my SE Xperia X10 mini, but with 40% battery charge and when I selected the flash with X10_V1_BLRelock.ftf which is located by default in Flashtool I could not turn on my phone, no signal not even charge the battery as the LED is not lit. Please help is that my phone is dead!!!!
Did you relock the bootloader while a custom kernel installed? If that is the case, it's not a good situation.
Did you try normal phone-fix via Sony PC Companion?

I don't think so. I try it with PC Compagnion and with SE Update service but the phone is not recongnized it
don't even run in flashmod any more.
And if i relock the bootloader while a custom kernel installed, what is the problem ???
what I understand from other users experience, it's total brick if bootloader is locked while custom kernel installed.
any one please correct me if i'm wrong here.
do you know a friend with the same phone and a charged battery. try having this in.
try remove SD-CARD and use pc companion fix option. the option that does not need to recognice the phone.

okey i unlocked the bootloade with this tut: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254225 then i had "no service" on my phone (i think beacuse i used the msm7227_Setool2.cmd). first i thought it might be an problme with the software so i installed MiniCM7-2.1.3 because the bootloader was unlocked. but htat didnt fix it. but now i accidentally flashed it with the stock kernel. it wont boot and it wont go into flashmode. so can you plz give me any suggestions how to solve this problem? thanks!
sorry if i made any mistakes im new to this forum
it just shows the sony ericsson logo
have you tried pc companion and update service it may get your phone working.
yes but it says i have to activate the usb on it to connect/use it with pc companion. and as i doesnt boot, i cant do this.
Have you tried se update service as you say your phone is not booting.
If update service can't do the magic then you will have to go for flashing tool ....
i cant get into flashmode (when the green led is on). so update service and pc companion dont detect it
now use flashtool and follow all the instruction on this link below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=825664
ok im trying this one
okey im desperate here, maybe you posted a wrong link or what ever. i tried to flash with flashtool. i even created a bundle. but is still not recognising it in flash mode.
okey solved it
took the battery cable out pushed the back button and put the cable back in place then i plugged the usb cable in and it wet into flashmode
finally i just relocked my bootloader with s1tool
thanks for your help

Ok. Judging by the fact that you're stuck on the Sony Ericsson logo, I'm assuming you're on the stock kernel and also on locked bootloader. Because you tried to install BlackHD Edition as well, I'm assuming you also have CWM.
The simplest method is if you made a backup in recovery and can access recovery. If you did this, you can simply restore the backup to get the ROM and data you were using before back. If this does not work properly (sometimes backups are screwed up somehow in recoveries), read on for the flashing method.
The X10 showed a green LED when you plugged it in which suggests that it can access flash mode (which is what I'd expect if you didn't tamper with the X10 so much as to break even that). If you have FlashTool, the following series of instructions should work:
1. Download the Xperia X10 stock firmware and move them to the firmware folder of the X10 FlashTool (the firmware can be found in this thread as well as the latest FlashTool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746)
2. Open FlashTool and press the flash button at the top left of the program
3. Select the stock firmware from the list and press ok
4. Instructions telling you to turn off and unplug your phone and plug it in with flash mode should pop up (hold back while plugging the cable in). Follow them and wait.
If you did this properly, you should have flashed the stock Sony Ericsson firmware with everything as it was when you bought the phone (if you flashed the 1.6 firmware) or updated the X10 to 2.3.3 (if you flashed the 2.3.3 firmware). That should be the most fail-proof and reliable way (I've saved my X10 from my stupid experiments through this several times already)
Just a little side note: If my assumptions are correct, you tried to flash the BlackHD Edition MIUI-based ROM through CWM on a locked bootloader and stock Sony Ericsson kernel probably without flashing the lockedbl.zip that's provided in the BlackHD Edition thread. Most FXP custom kernels work with that ROM without a problem, but the stock one just doesn't because it's far too different. You could have either chosen the locked or unlocked installation method on the thread (I know because I've done it before). The unlocked one requires an unlocked bootloader and a FXP custom kernel, neither of which I think you have. The locked method only requires CWM installation and for you to flash the lockedbl.zip after installation. I think your issue must have come from the fact that you forgot that last part, or some other strange error occured.

yours assumptions are correct.
About instructions to how to connect to flashtool, i know they. i click on flash button, select firmware and when pop up to plug-in, i do it...but don't work...don't connect...
As in, it doesn't recognise the device?
I think there's another way where you take the battery out and plug the phone into the computer. The green LED should light up for about 5-10 seconds (when it's in flash mode) where you have a window to select the firmware and flash. I haven't personally tried it, but I'm asking someone who has done it about how it's done. You might want to try that method as you can't really do much else with your phone right now. I'll update this post once I know the exact method and details

Once flashtool asks you to connect USB cable..connect the phone with the battery removed. THEN replace the battery while holding the power button and it should start up into flashmode.
It may even work without holding the power button...
Its strange because when stuck at SE logo you can't follow the on screen directions to get it to work

If your bootloader is locked, you can choose the option to repair phone in pc comp. Another possibility why your phone is not detected might be because of drivers.
It may also because of his usb not working , the problem might have started . I want to check out whether your phone is charging and i also want to know that in devicemanager your phone when connected in flash mode shows as "semc usb device "
Thanks

Try This Once..Worked For Me
My Xperia Mini st15i has ICS 4.0.1.B.431 and i wanted to flash kernel 4.0.1.B.587 because my ICS is a custom ROM, meaning i couldn't do the official update of the kernel so... long story short i accidentally flashed the kernel for JB(don't ask me how, similar file names from same developer etc...). So since that i can't turn on the phone, no reaction what so ever, neither i can't plug in the phone via flashmode nor fastboot so that i can correct that mistake, no led indication, not even indication that it is offline charging, flashtool and official pc companion software are not detecting the phone when plugged in the computer. Please help. Any suggestions what to do? Thanks in advance...
Check sticky thread by someguyfromhell, if not solved, maybe it's a hardbrick.
Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk 2
I contacted the developer from which kernel i used. He believes it's a hardbrick.
So there's no chance to recover it to be functional in any mode?
I managed to save it . Luckily my phone was only softbricked and after i re-installed flashtool(with fastboot and flashmode drivers, which came with the program) and PC Companion with official phone drivers, i plugged in the phone in fastboot mode and luckily it activated that mode and flashmode as well. Then I flashed the correct kernel for the ICS and it turned on after that
Just takeout your battery wait fir a second and put it back
Flaah your keenel again and install your rom

Flash too don't need to recognize your phone, just turn the phone off and flash stock firmware.

1.Switch off your mini
2.remove battery and wait for 5 seconds before you reinsert it
3.keep holding upper volume button and connect usb cable (make sure its already connected to PC)
4.if there's blue notification light, then its fastboot mode.
5.Also you need fastboot driver installed from sdk on your PC
May be, if you are familiar with all above steps, i guess something wrong on PC. check with removing & reinstalling fastboot driver from sony's site

You say you had unlocked bootloader before flashing ST15i)_4.0.2.A.0.42_CE ftf
And then you upgrade to .587 via pc companion ?
Because AFAIK when I tried updating same on my friends phone with unlocked bootloader. Pc companion denied to update because of software modification.
And if you were successfully updated then most probably your bootloader is relocked. So you may wanna check that!
Also try for hard reset if possible!
