Gmyle black 360 rotating case for under $9 - Transformer TF300T Accessories

Just wanted to share doesn't look to be a bad case and it's dirt cheap. It should arrive today and after checking it all out I will take pics and let you all know what I think of it. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0098USX7A?ie=UTF8&force-full-site=1&ref_=aw_bottom_links

First impression is its pretty nice for the price, the tablet clamps in place into a rubberized holder that feels pretty sturdy. There are two angle position for both portrait and landscape. First thing I noticed I don't like is there is no hole for the charger so case must be open to charge. Next the elastic strap that holds it closed goes right over the volume key and is fairly snug but doesn't appear to be making the volume rocker to be pushed. All in all so far for under $9 it seems to be a good buy. Only time will tell!

looking for a dock that fits with the tpu case

I've got an evo 3d with a tpu case and am looking for a dock that it would fit in so I can dock it while I'm at work.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
Already a few threads on this. With that said I have the exomount universal mount and its great 20$ on Amazon and it sticks really well the grip is strong and sized well enough I can miss both the volume and camera buttons I've used it with no case ballistic soft gel and the platinum cases all with no problem.

So you use a car mount at work? It sticks to your desk pretty good? The desks in my office would not allow a suction cup to stick. I'm about ready to make my own to work with a tpu.
I have the Ebay dock with a spot in the back for an extra better. Queue great with many thin cases. Tpu, Otterbox commuter, Seidio Surface, Otterbox Impact, etc. I have 0 complaints and I've had it since just after the Evo 3D launch

igrip works with tpu and hard case. i have it and its awesome.
I'm using a spider podium at work. I wanted a dock that I could use in portrait mode - and the spider podium works great once I got it shaped the right way. It's sturdy enough that I can use my phone and swipe as usual.
I'm surprised no one's made a dock that could be used in both portrait and landscape mode. It would just need L-shaped material - with the phone dropped in in landscape, then rotated as needed. It would seem an easy enough feature to add.

Transleeve...Not Worth Buying.

Ok. I picked up the Black Transleeve for my Prime earlier this week. As you probably anticipated from the marketing info on this accessory, it was going to be something very similar to the iPad SmartCover.
Well, after only three days of usage, I have to say that the Transleeve is a complete waste of money.
The sleeve leaves smudge marks on the glass where the creases for the "origami" of the sleeve are. These smudges are harder to clean off then normal fingerprints.
The entire sleeve itself seems to be too big for the Prime. It seems to overhang the edges by a few millimeters and just does not give the overall unit a clean feel or look.
The edges of the sleeve are already curling up as if the material used as the "structure" within the sleeve is cheap cardboard or plastic.
The sleeve, while it attaches very securely to the device with the prongs, does not attach anywhere else (like how the iPad SmartCover is held magnetically to the screen), so the Transleeve flops all over the place.
These are just a few annoyances I have noticed that make me feel that this OVERPRICED cover is not at all worth purchasing as an add-on. Something this cheap should have just come with the device.
Thanks for the heads up. I was gonna purchase one of these tomorrow.
I actually really like my transleeve. If all you want to protect is the screen, it's very good. I'm aware I'm in the minority.

Well I love mine too. I have ZERO issues with it and it does what it suppose to do "Protect the Screen and serve as a stand"
I have been using mine none stop since December.
Yes, It doesn't have the magic magnet charm as the iPad2 one has but it's the best solution you can find for now.
Also $40 is overpriced but I'm happy with it.
POS.... $40 POS at that.
Sent it back first day I got it, 3 weeks before I even got my Prime.
- Cheaply made.... very cheaply made.
- does not stick to screen.
- scratches the back of Prime, by slot holes.

My wife's pink one fell apart after 3 days. I've had mine for 4 weeks without issue.
I love mine. Works great. Try for yourself.

I love mine. Bought it used a week ago from Amazon and just used it at a conference in Boston,MA. It was PERFECT! Went well with my neoprene case. I am thinking of either a pelican case or G-form next, but should fit with either one.

Hard Case w/ Smart Cover

Has anyone found anything similar? I'm not a huge fan of leather cases as they never seem to fit properly. I'm probably being too picky but here's what I'm looking for:
Hard back cover - if leather it mustn't be flimsy or overly bulky
Clip to all corners of the tablet - the ones that only clip on the top and sides always seem to slide off.
Thin is a plus
Some means of standing the tab in one or more position is a positive
Absolutely no velcro anywhere
Prefer to not covered any part of the screen - black part included
I'd be content with something like an otterbox commuter with a kickstand. Or a nice portfolio cease that clips on all corners and magnetizes closed.
What have you found?

Thanks for the link. Do you own one of these? It's difficult to judge from the website. Can you answer a few questions.
I like that it connects on 4 corners but does the bottom two corners not slip off to stand it up? If so, does the device ever slide down (this has been my experience with other devices)? How difficult is it to pop the bottom corners off? Seems like it'd eventually damage the bottom of the device.
Does it close by means of a clasp or a bungy cord?
How bulky is it?

Yes, I own one.
Yes, the bottom two corners clip off to stand it up but it doesn't/can't slide down, the side clips are tight to prevent this. It's not actually difficult to clip off the bottom corners, indeed they really just sit in place to hold the device - to be honest, if you cut them off the Prime would still not slip straight out.
It clasps closed at the top centre, by the camera. Just like the corners really, it clips over the top.
Some people might be concerned about securing/removing the clasp or corners will damage the device. I don't think this will happen though, the material is soft and nothing requires a lot of force.
It's not too bulky, it feels good in my hands. It's quite stiff (not floppy) which I like and it has some good padding which adds to the bulk but it's perfectly acceptable to me. It's also very light.
I received it last Thursday and really do love it. I hate cases but felt I needed one because the Prime is tender. Most of the cases I've seen are not so nice but I really do like this one (for the price).
Here's the expensive version:

Thanks for your feedback. I really appreciate it. I'm going to shop a little more but I'm definately leaning towards the case you bought (not spending $80 on a case...lol). If you think of anything, good or bad, in the next few days please let me know.

This case - http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006PWGESY/ref=aw_d_detail?pd=1 - looks identical to the minisuit case mentioned earlier in this thread. Makes me think they're made by the same company or private labeled.

Yep, they're all the same, check out the video review on YouTube for the Blurex version.
I have had the Poetic Case for the 201 and keyboard and have been relatively happy, the only exception being I didn't like how much thickness and bulk it added. Yesterday I got my Sikai Case and so far I am pretty happy.
One piece, when you have the keyboard attached it covers all of it, when you don't there is a minimal bit of extra material where the hinge cover is. Overall it is a pretty good bit of kit, fits nice and tight on all four corners of the tablet, and seems to stand acceptably by itself.
FWIW I think a good deal for the price.
Cheers,
P

rooCASE Dual-Axis (Black) Leather Folio Case Cover with 23 Adjustable Positions

I recently received this case after having been sent a similar one that was meant for the TF Prime. While not yet generally available, the Dual-Axis was a nice step up for a couple more dollars. All the ports are very much available including the earjack. The cutout on the cover for the camera is still insufficient in my opinion. This could because the thickness of the sleeve makes it a bit distant from the cover and even though aligned, I think the camera lens has more of a wide angle and still picks up the edge of the outer cover. Not a big deal as you can remove the inner sleeve as it is held by velcro and take a photo that way and then put it back in the leather cover.
The whole case feels sturdy and thick and the leather is nice. It also has magnets in the flap to keep it secure. None of the tablet sticks out so I feel confident if I drop it that the tablet inside would come to no harm.
The positions available from the ridges on the inside cover really work well.
One other drawback is the outside cover had no cutout for the speaker though the inner sleeve does. So basically you do have to extend out the sleeve to avoid muffling the sound. However, I have a pair of earphones and with the jack fully exposed that is not much of an issue.
In summary, while this case has a couple of shortcomings, they can be worked around easily enough and in whole I really enjoy this case. Kudos to PC Micro Store on Amazon for sending me this new case in exchange for the one that was for the Prime.
It says on the description that all open ports are available, does that mean you can use the keyboard dock with this?

I don't own the keyboard but the bottom of the detachable sleeve has the charging port and the two keyboard attachment slots exposed but not sure that it will still work with the sleeve installed.
If the case still goes around the bottom at all then not likely it will not work as the tablet goes down into the dock quite a bit.

[Review] Incipio Feather

Haven't seen anyone show pics of the Incipio Feather for our Evo LTE so thought I'd post a quick review. I have had the Diztronic case on my Evo since the first day I bought it. It is a great case and protects fairly well but I found myself taking the phone out and carrying it naked due to how good it looks without a case. So once I saw the feather was out for the Evo I had to get it.
The Incipio Feather is a little more expensive than the Diztronic, $20 vs $10 with a coupon but worth it in my opinion. It is a hard shell that snaps on but is just as thin if not thinner than the Diztronic. I figured the hard shell might also help in avoiding the phone bend that some have had. The Incipio has a very smooth matte finish which complements the Evo very well.
The Feather covers the entire back and the sides of the phone. There are cutouts for the volume buttons, camera button and charging port. One great advantage of the Incipio is that the power button is not covered so it is much easier to press than with the Diztronic. I've attached pictures that show all angles of the case. The bottom lip of the case extends past the bottom part of the phone and the top part of the cover extends to the same level as the phone. Lastly the sides do not extend past the screen but rather at the same level. That is if you place the phone screen down on a flat surface it doesn't elevate the screen. This is a downside but the phone looks so good I have no desire to take it off. Please let me know if anyone has any questions.. Thanks
Which ROM are you running? Is it bug free? Thanks for the review by the way.

I meant questions about the case. Lol. No prob though, I'm running cleanromDe. Quite honestly its the best ROM for me. I love nova and being able to customize the launcher so I don't need sense. I have lots of free memory and no lag. I would def recommend trying it out if you haven't

Looks pretty nice. I was kinda hoping it was raised above the screen a bit.
Does the strip above the volume buttons feel flimsy at all? That was my biggest complaint with the Cruzerlite Androidify.
My wife is getting on me about having too many cases so the next one I get has to be my last and has to be the best lol.

The strip by the volume buttons feels very sturdy and doesn't bend with moderate pressure. I don't want to press too hard and have it break but it is definitely not flimsy.

Both of these are very similar to the Spigen hard case I purchased and had at the ready before my LTEvo arrived in the mail.
(Not allowed to post links yet, as I'm new here, but it is Spigen's snap case for the Evo 4G LTE)
It is basically the smoothest case I've seen for any phone, and looks like the photo when mounted in real life. Unfortunately, the corner strip where the volume rocker is was a bit too fragile. My case broke at that spot less than 2 days of owning it, and I've since read reviews complaining about the same thing.
It's been mentioned that the Incipio feels pretty sturdy in that area, but I'm still wary of that, especially if these cases are made of polycarbonate like the one I purchased.
-Tom
I was rockin the sgp version as well. Loved it. But.
It's to fragile, it cracked when i was trying to take it off. Also, it isn't very grippy, and i always feel like it's going to slip out of your hand. Scratches pretty easily to. It's all rubbed where it rests on a table. From vibrating when it rings.
Ordered the incipio feather, and ngp. Will compare them with the spigen when they arrive tomorrow.
Where did you order the feather from? I can't find it on their website or Amazon. I jumped the gun on one last week and misread the item so I ended up with one for the OG Evo.
