I've made an app (Ace Live Video Wallpaper), which uses Video Live Wallpaper, to put videos as live wallpaper.
I've got some Dell Streak videos in the app. The DSC 2 bootanimation and one for the Dell which I posted some months ago.
You can download it free in the google play store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ace38.netne.net.acelivevideowallpaperfree
Or directly from my server:
New url: http://www.ace38.net/AceLiveVideoWallpaperFree.apk
http://ace38.netne.net/AceLiveVideoWallpaperFree.apk
Most videos are made for portrait mode since the majority of people use their phones like that.
Got my own server now. Download app from here:

I'm trying to view live streaming traffic video on a web site with my Atrix 4G, but all I'm seeing in the video window on that site is a little Lego cube with question marks on the sides. There is a note on the site that says to download Windows Media Player if you can't view the stream. On another site (CalTrans traffic conditions) when I touched on a camera icon to open a photo of that location, then touched on the link that says "go to live camera", the Atrix seemed to momentarily try to start Rockplayer, but then it returned to the browser where I now see a quick error message that it can't play that .asx content. And I also think I broke something, because before when I touched on the little red camera icons, I at least got the still photo of that location, but now the window won't even show the photos, only the "go to live camera" link. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you can only view flash streams but don't take my word for it.

Hi
I store all of my photographs on my synology NAS and would like a way of displaying them as a photo frame screensaver type app for use in a desktop dock.
All apps for photo gallery type stuff don't support local network stored photos, only online picasa, flicker, facebook, etc. but I have all my photos locally stored for the past 10+ years and they simply wouldn't fit on the galaxy tab.
The only way of viewing photos is using ES file explorer and through the synology nas app but this is only good for manual viewing.
If anyone has an app or a way of getting this to work, I'd much appreciate it.
Thanks
Mark

I have picasa on my PC so going to sync up a few albums and just use a picasa compatible gallery app.
Now is there a screensaver type app for the desktop dock?

So, i have serached on Android Market to give the OP an answer. Here are the links:
1 - Twonky Mobile (a good one)
2 - BubbleUPnP
3 - UPnPlay
4 - Eminet DLNA/UPnP Player
All of them can show video, music and pictures. And they running on the SGT10.1 3G. I hope that helps. I don't use it, because i have a three year old Samsung Picture Frame with WebServer on it.
BTW: there is an add-in for the Samsung Picture Frame on the windows home server (ahhh). And that me as unix and gentoo user. Shame on me .
I just moved to cyanogenmod, and was wondering if there is any video player available that has live previews like the one in the original rom, where all videos play at the same time in thumbnail mode.
Hi,
I commute to school underground with no service for roughly 1.5 hours. During that time, I like to watch youtube videos. Besides TubeMate, is there any Android app (or any method on Android) to download youtube videos AUTOMATICALLY? I want to have the videos download while I sleep so it is available to me when I wake up and get ready. Right now I manually download some videos using TubeMate (when I remember).
I did have another setup using "youtube-dl" program on linux and setting up a cron job to download the latest video from a channel. I would then upload this to dropbox and then redownload it on my Android using FolderSync app.
Please tell me if there is a better way to auto download new videos from youtube channels. I have a Galaxy S3.
bump....anyone?

I'm looking for an app that can download videos from the Peeks Social app without using URLs that can maybe run in the background and download the videos straight from the app I'm using. I tried a couple screen recording apps but all they record is the audio with a black screen and the video I need isnt live its been on the app fo a while so I figured there might be a way to download it.
PS. Sorry if this isn't the place to ask this ?
