Sucks to see ya go but I don't blame you one bit. Unfortunately I'm stuck with mine until late 2012 when I'm eligible for an upgrade. No more Motorola for me. Samsung might be where I go since every HTC phone in our neckofthewoods has very poor or no signal.

(hopefully Motorola keeps their nice hardware BUT UNLOCKS THAT **** ...Hell...hopefully by then the word unlocked bootloader is unnecessary due to all devices allowing you to run WHATEVER rom USER decides, this could grow into something WAY bigger then anyone imagines, cyanogenmod? yea, they are good devs, but imagine IF there was MONEY to be.made from building roms/kernels for DROID ....I mean people creating things for the sole purpose of selling, not just sharing, I woulnt mind paying a few bucks for an insane rom to run....people say competition pushes innovation, nothing like a nice stack of cash to inspire competition for the best...

I've just been reading up the Charge forums. So far, my impressions were not that of rude behavior though.
Nevertheless, there was a thread on an ICS ROM where it mentions

T-Mobile just replaced my amaze with a one s! I know some of you may not like it but you gotta admit that's a damn fair swap.

I *****ed about having to always replace my amaze so I asked for the retention department and after a few minutes of hassle they offered me a 1 s for free with no contract extension. Just go to retention ll be a lot more than customer service

Since you mentioned build quality....I guess I'll just add Im on One S #3. Each exchange done for a different reason. Quite frankly the cheesy plastic sim card cover and how easily it scratches bothers the living hell out of me...which I would say is a part of build "quality".... Oddly still on the same Amaze....and it's my daily.

Ouch thats no good. I didn't have mine long (A month) but my ex wifes has been flawless for a few months. Hasn't had the issues u speak of. Different strokes for different strokes. The Amaze was the beginning of the end of HTC. It has the capabilities and specs... and STILL MY FAV CAMERA, But Quality Assurance dept must have been replaced for cheaper labor... just my opinion

I lost my Amaze at school today and Asurion is going to send me a One S since the Amaze is no longer in stock.You guys have helped me a ton and brought me to where I am now! If it wasn't for my Amaze and me doing a million and one warranty exchanges, I would never of had learned how to make my toolkits!

Lol that's funny, I'm in the exact same situation, waitin for the same thing. I'm surprised mine has still worked for this long, the screens been shattered for a few months now

I hated the one s when I had it for a week lol, its an amaze with aids hahaha, but custom roms make every phone worth like an extra $100 tbh

It was an amaze with a nicer build quality, aesthetically sexier, worse camera, no removable battery, no memory expansion, and exact same speeds and performance.

Actually, it's a nice phone. I notice the speed difference between this and the Amaze. This responds much quicker. I just wish it can take an SD Card. I'm probably gonna end up selling it when there is a new HTC phone that has an SD slot.

Nope. The S3 does suck lol. My brother had the One S for a while and he loves it. I just wished this thing had an Sd card than it would be good with me for a bit

I really like the Note 2, I've gone back to it two times already, once from a Iphone 5, and the 2nd from a Lumia 920. The lumia 920 was great for photos, but the windows UI was extremely boring. I hardly use the S-pen as well, I just like the big screen. But I do have a small wifi problem with my note 2 right now, in which a new replacement is coming in soon. Any Note 2 users out there planning to ditch and get the HTC One?

I'm not an addict I just flash a lot.
Over the past year I have carried every major new phone in AT&Ts lineup and this is the first one I have been truly excited about. I haven't been able to put it down. The Note 2 was significantly better than the Note, but can't hold up the jock strap of the One. Screen size is the only this the Note has going for it, the screen resolution on the One is ridiculous and more than makes up for the size.

The headphones are okay. The info about them being unbranded beats I don't think is the case. I have a pair of beats and they sound much better that the stock pair that came with the one. They did attempt to make them look like beats tho.

i can't ditch the Note 2. to date, it's the best android phone/device i've used. it's a great work phone (e.g, i use the S-Pen quite often, sign lots of documents, draw on other documents) and for my usage pattern, battery life is superb. that said, i cannot pass up the HTC One! i'm wondering how well i'll adjust to a slightly smaller screen...
dont do it u going to miss amazing screen amazing battery life removal sdcard and unlock bootloader if you flash a lot of rom
