Maybe our friend here don't know anything about kernel.
OK, you have to use the flashtool ( you could find it in this forum , one of the post at the top) to flash kernel.

I know what kernel is, but my USB port is broken.

u can flash kernel through the flashtool (most kernels are in .ftf file)
u need to be in flashmode to flash the kernel..
but if u want to flash it through the xrec or CWM there are some kernel in .ZIP file like the doomkernel..

Without a usb port, all you can do is to restore to your previous backup ( if you have backed up).

i saw it somewhere on xda but now i dont remember. you need older stock kernel because expliot was fixed on new kernel
dude i flashed .58 kernal , and d above image is after that
and sorry for the double post
Clockworkmode is best for recovery ... use it,and to remove your error you should open task manager and kill adb.exe process and then restart all the rooting procedure that i told you...
make sure you have enabled unknown sources and usb debugging ON
And connect your device to PC only, don't connect any other usb device simultaneously like other mobile...
It should work then as i have tested it on my XMP

Kernel can only be installed via PC and fastboot.
You cannot edit something, while it is being used.

thanks for your response .. coz i found out in the market name "kernel manager" will flash the kernel in sdcard.. i dont think if it is works in mini pro.
its because se phones dont have dedicated partition for recovery, the recovery itself is embedded into kernel boot.img.

that may be not completely true, since there is recovery for stock rom with the stock kernel.
so there may be a way to loop into recovery to another partition where the rom is..
i'm not completely sure though, and have no idea how to explain it..
just an observation
Recovery can be installed to system partition or in the kernel. Both is possible.

Hi.
I don't have Xperia Sola, but if you have access to your CWM it's a good ting if you before flash anything you made a backup of your phone using CWM.
Maybe you haven't made any backup of your phone, than you can try to download some custom rom's from this forum for Xperia Sola, if not you can try to find a stock rom for your phone. I'm sure it has been posted lot of Xperia Sola stock rom here, and you flash it by using flashtool.
Maybe you will found something here:

Well you can give a shot to both kernel if one doesnt works you can try the other. And to flash only kernel, in flashtool exclude evereything except kernel and dont wipe anything
