Hello to everyone in the dev community !!
Well my question is clear: How to add CM settings to the app drawer or settings app?
I'm currently developing LeWaOS rom for the htc wildfire. It's based on stable CM7.2
The CMsettings apk is included in the rom, i can go through the CMsettings by making shortcuts on the homescreen for it. BUT can I include it as an individual app in the app drawer so it becomes easier to access ??
If not then is it possible to add it to the settings apk ?

I know you will have to decompile both and add the right lines from the CM settings to the Settings,it has to do with a XML file.Sorry i'm not sure where or which line it would be.

This is a mod how to enable navigation bar(on screen
buttons) , its very simple and easy...
Warring: if you mess something dont blame me.
Add the following line at the end of buid.prop file
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
now on reboot we will have nav-bar like on nexus 4

I think to change dpi we must modify framework.apk file...

don't. You need to change build.prop or simply use a program like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.birdapi.android.dpi

Any of you get messed up screen with this mod? Everything is shifted and there is space to the right. Happens only to stick launcher, keyboard.
Also lg quick memo force closes
Undid the mod and everything is back to normal

I enabled the soft buttons and you are right! I really miss the extra 1-2 lines of text when browsing the web and half of an icon on my home screen!

you must be talking about the stock lg apps such as camera, quick memo and launcher, right?

The reason I got this phone was the 4.7" screen, I don't wanna lose anything of it
this is optional mod. dunno why you complain about it telling us that you don't want to use it. just give it a try, remove or do whatever you want.
I did it as someonq said: hard button. it makes me angry because i hate those hard buttons especially when i was using them for like 3 years on iPhone..

Something about having redundant buttons just irks those with common sense, I guess. All serve an identical purpose and offer no difference whatsoever in sensivity and/or context, so you're basically doing it 'just because'.

Except that clicking sound of home button can wake up wife/girlfriend/children/dog at night. And the button have to be pressed much harder than swipe on touchscreen.

Has anybody managed to change the key press sounds on the dialer? Would prefer the more traditional tone ala ex dialer (but want to keep standard dialer)

Go to system/media/audio/ui , find the sound you want and replace ιt with with one of your choice.

What about the touch screen sound? Is it the same one? If it's in the apk tham means decompiling/recompiling etc, right?

Holo locker on the play store is one option. Works well, free version available. Plenty of others in the store too though.
With root - remove HTCLockscreenLite.apk from /system/app

Hi, I'm using widgetlocker but the stock lockscreen is still conflicting with it so if somoebody calling me, I can see buttons instead of circle. (Annoying when you taking out of pocket and you already answer the call) is it okay to disable HTC lockscreen in all apps ?will everything work properly? Thnx and sorry of this question is too noobish

I delete APK and ODEX but when I reboot phone they come back and i have still HTC LockScreen not ISC or JB
Delete the files in aroma file manager in recovery.
Flowed from my HTC branded muffin...
In aroma file manager I don't see files in ROOT directory.
Mount system before flashing aroma file manager.

For Transparent NavBar - Decompile Prism.apk
Once decompiled navigate to \Prism\res\drawable-xxhdpi look for home_nav_bg
Just modify the above image to your liking color, transparency etc
i will let you know on the folder later on as i cannot remember of the top of my head what needs to be changed
