Hi everyone, I have a problem with my S3, this afternoon I flash the rom from xda Lost 4.2.1 after flash I reinstalled all my app, and I discovered that the root of gsm had chaner: sdcard / 0 / ... whereas before there was no 0!
I wanted after that, completely delete all the files for all gsm format, with the recovery Philz I made all wypes and also erases all the mounts and storage section.
After that I reinstall version 4.1.2 Omega but as soon as I reboot it remains locked in the bootloop samsung. I re Wyper and reinstall ca, ca redone always bootloop ... I try to install the same ... but Wanam
So I dl the new firmware and flash via Odin MB5 and reboot but still block for hours on the samsung boot? If anyone can help me thank you!
I reflash the recovery philz and when I want to install a rom: Selection: Choose zip from sdcard does not work! (E: Can not mount / sdcard /)
I put a rom on the sd ext and still bootloop after installing samsung ca ...
Sorry for my english this is a translation
When you flash with Odin, wait at least 10 minutes for it to boot up, if it still doesn't boot up, pull battery, re-insert, boot to recovery and perform a factor reset
ok i test...

Hi everyone !
I have an International S3, which was running last CM10 Nightly (also last CWM Touch). I wanted to try the new Official Stock Jelly Bean rom from Poland, exactly as it is explained here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PSt8b5D2dM&feature=my_watch_later_videos&list=WL2B339812AF4545BF
http://www.androidauthority.com/galaxy-s3-i9300-android-4-1-1-jelly-bean-official-upgrade-118073/
I thing I did everything just fine, but after the flashed has finished, I'm just having a Samsung Logo lighting on and off, and nothing else is happening after, just that damn logo...
This is what Odin's message box is showing:

It also seems that CWM recovery has been removed. And when i use the toolkit V5, he just do not detect anything... :/
What can I do to get this fixed ? Or at least, have a working CWM recovery so I can restore the CM10 backup I made on the external SD ?
Thank you very much guys, and sorry if that has already been asked and answered somewhere else, I searched (quickly) and didn't found something like that.
Go to recovery (holding power, vol + and home button), wipe data/factory reset, cache and probably you'll be fine
Ok, so apparently I DID NOT exactly follow the same process as showed in the video above: i did not hard reset the phone...............
Anyway, as I no longer have CWM, how to do that ? .... :/
Again, thank you very much for your help !

I tried already, it is not able even to wipe!! when i apply "wipe data/factory reset" from the recovery list sometimes hang and hold the screen and other times keep restarting and gives me Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i logo.
And when I use Odin3 v3.07 to install new stock firmware it gives me the following and the same result again, keep restarting and gives me Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i logo without any success

Use odin v1.84
Use multi pakage firmware
Use pit file hope it will solve :fingers-crossed::laugh:
go into recovery then factory data reset again and clear your cache partition. If you have CWM recovery than also wipe your dalvik cache. another thing you might want to try is to take out the battery for 30 secs than re-insert it. take out the SIM card and the micro SD card as well. If all of those do not work than maybe look for more threads like this or Google your problem. oh I just got another idea when you go into recovery mode and select reboot device look at the bottom to see log information and than Google that problem. I will be honest with you your not the only one which has/d the same problem...one day I was playing a game called 'vector' and when I opened it up it came up with a sign saying that the game used arcitecture ARM7 and Ace-i is arcitecture ARM6. It also said tat it was likely to crash but I played It anyway. I had played It for along while and got really far but one time I had completed another level (I was at school at the time) and the screen went black so I got the screen active again and did my lock screen pattern but it just froze there for a really long time than the screen blacked out for no reason again and BAM im in a bootloop... my mum had eventually found out and the problem so with out me knowing she sent it back to the repair center even though I could have flashed a stock ROM via Odin! (It was under warranty thankfully)
Coming from LiquidSmooth 2.9
Ran triangleaway, then went into download mode, and flashed

Flash recovery twrp. 2.8.7.3 via heimdall. Other way flash back to stock rom with i9300 pit file via odin.. make sure you choose the right pit for i9300 16gb or i9300 32gb.
Id blame twrp. I had nothing but issues with it. Flash back to stock and start over. It's now your only option.
There is a chance you've had sds (sudden death syndrome) and the nand could be corrupt. You fix it with a pit file via odin but ONLY as a last resort. Flashing pit files is a final throw before pronouncing it's death.
The stuff i use : https://drive.google.com/folder/d/0B4vTiHTBB629ZW5vQndpbjFnblk/edit
You will NOT find a pit file in there as i don't support pit flashing, because it is final. It either works or it doesn't. You will have to find one yourself if you need one.

Anyone solve this problem? I'm using N7100 and get this problem too
Tried to flash PIT with new odin version always noti "failed",
with 3.0.7, 3.0.9, odin freeze at "Get PIT for mapping..", I waited more than 30 minutes but nothing happen,
Tried to flash stock ROM but failed at "NAND Write Start!!"
Someone please help me fix this problem.
Are you using the original Samsung USB cable? Tried other USB cables and USB 2.0 ports?
oh, hi audit13,
Of course I used original Samsung USB cable, I changed some other cables, and USB ports(2.0, 3.0) to test, but nothing new.
I think no one can fix this problem, bring to cell store is the best choice
When flashing with Odin, which is the file that fails to flash? Maybe post the Odin log?

There shoot.bin file is not flashing because the memory is damaged, the ROM is not for the phone, the bootloader in the phone is newer than bootloader in the rom, or you need a different USB cable.

I flashed Roms with Android ver 4.4.4, 6.0.1, 7.1.1, and don't know much about bootloader, can you help me find my bootloader ver and find the way to resolve this problem. Thanks
Hey everybody. So here's what happened. I had installed CM13 installed on my SIII (i9300). Its battery died and when I turned it on it gave me an encryption had failed error, i pressed the reset phone button and it brought me into TWRP. I couldn't factory reset so I decided to reinstall CM13. I did that, first it gave me a failed to mount /data error. I wiped it completely and after installing CM13 it gave me failed to mount storage error. It then wouldn't turn on and was stuck on "Galaxy SIII" boot screen (not cm animation). I formatted data, reinstalled CM, it made it till the boot animation screen not past that. I installed Ressurrection Remix and it does the same, stuck on the boot animation. It does boot normally when I restore the nandroid backup I made but I cant install any custom rom. Any help?

But that's the way.
Alright, but why cant I flash any other rom even after restoring the backup I made?
@Sarmad Ishtiaq: because anything in your system is messed up, maybe in your backupped state already.
That's peculiar. I restored the backup once and was still able to flash another rom after it.
I'll just flash the stock rom when I get home.

The funny thing is that Im still on my NANDROID BACKUP! My settings and apps are there. It didn't flash the stock rom. ODIN did say 'pass'. Wtf is going on?
Boot into recovery (must be stock one now) and exec factory reset.
