Obviously should have read this before I started.
Can you advise the best way forward now. ?
Do I try again using Odin and the same file ?
Thanks
Probably should mention I was following this guide:
[Tut] Unroot the Galaxy SIII (for stock updates/warranty)
I would try flashing recovery and then wiping the phone .

I managed to get into recovery and that told me it applied BTU.
I've cleared the data/factory reset and cache.
Phone has rebooted and now it appears to have loaded

I tried already, it is not able even to wipe!! when i apply "wipe data/factory reset" from the recovery list sometimes hang and hold the screen and other times keep restarting and gives me Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i logo.
And when I use Odin3 v3.07 to install new stock firmware it gives me the following and the same result again, keep restarting and gives me Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i logo without any success

Use odin v1.84
Use multi pakage firmware
Use pit file hope it will solve :fingers-crossed::laugh:
go into recovery then factory data reset again and clear your cache partition. If you have CWM recovery than also wipe your dalvik cache. another thing you might want to try is to take out the battery for 30 secs than re-insert it. take out the SIM card and the micro SD card as well. If all of those do not work than maybe look for more threads like this or Google your problem. oh I just got another idea when you go into recovery mode and select reboot device look at the bottom to see log information and than Google that problem. I will be honest with you your not the only one which has/d the same problem...one day I was playing a game called 'vector' and when I opened it up it came up with a sign saying that the game used arcitecture ARM7 and Ace-i is arcitecture ARM6. It also said tat it was likely to crash but I played It anyway. I had played It for along while and got really far but one time I had completed another level (I was at school at the time) and the screen went black so I got the screen active again and did my lock screen pattern but it just froze there for a really long time than the screen blacked out for no reason again and BAM im in a bootloop... my mum had eventually found out and the problem so with out me knowing she sent it back to the repair center even though I could have flashed a stock ROM via Odin! (It was under warranty thankfully)
Hi everyone,
I'm having a great problem. Recently got rooted SIII with CF-CWM and ICS Rom. I tried to install recent update of official 4.3 announced for UK (BTU) downloaded from SamMobile.
I used ODIN 3.7 for this process. All went successfully. ODIN automatically did a factory reset but after reset phone is on Samsung logo. Logo and LED light are blinking but not going any further. And I'm unable to go into recovery as well.
Please someone help me out in this matter. I searched here but found nothing relevant. And by the way I'm in Pakistan.
Here is the log of ODIN:

Hi guys,
I have a problem with my S2 (i9100)...I don't understand how it's possibile, but my phone suddenly it has fallen in bootloop, after unaffected reboot. (I wasn't using it).
So I have tried the instructions at bootloop in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/development-derivatives/kernel-t2291756
After the wipe of dalvik cache and cache I wasn't able to enter into recovery mode but only in download mode and thus I have tried to flash philz kernel but ODIN failed the flash
And now in ODIN i can't flash anymore but it's stuck in "NAND write start".
Please can someone help me? Thanks!
My Device: GT-i9100
ROM: WizzedKAT v. 3.3
KERNEL: Apolo 4.14 Regular
You need to go back to stock, not another custom kernel. Get a stock rom from Samfirmware, and find Hopper8's 'Odin troubleshooting' thread stickied in General - go through the troubleshooting stuff in a methodical manner until you get a successful flash.
There's a chance this might not fix the problem on its own & you still might need to do a factory reset after the flash. If even that doesn't fix the problem, flash the 3 part firmware linked in the thread, which will wipe your phone of whatever is causing bootloop hopefully.
Once you're back at stock you can re-root your phone & restore a nandroid or reinstall custom rom/whatever.
Thanks for reply!

I have tried different versions of ODIN and 2 different cable and computer (whit one yesterday I flashed s3 mini without problems)
It's possibile that emmc may be corrupted?
(Sorry for my bad English :S)
Possibly, but you essentially have two choices here:-
1) Keep trying the stuff in that thread over & over I.E all of it (not just a few things), as many times as you need to. There is nothing that can be suggested in these situations which isn't in that thread, it's 'the bible' for this sort of problem. Perseverance always fixes these when they're recoverable (and most are).
2) Give up & pay for a motherboard replacement or a new phone.
I know what I'd be doing if I was in your situation.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100G model which was running Cyanogenmod Kitkat version. I wanted to get it on stock firmware. So I downloaded the stock Indian firmware (I9100GDDLS3_I9100GODDLS3_INU) and via ODIN flashed the PD file. Everything went fine according to ODIN but now my phone is just rebooting with the Samsung logo. Can anyone help me what went wrong here? Here is the details of Odin process.

Yeah I guess that's the step missing, I will do that the only issue is my HOME button is not working right now will get it repaired and then try the same. Thanks for the reply.
Yeah booted my phone properly into stock. So for anyone who will be stuck in future and would be wondering what to do.. Wiping the data and clearing the cache is the way to go.
Thanks for the help.
greetings. this did not work for me. iv tried to wipe data and wipe cache, and even reflashed the sgs2 but nothing happened. i tried a suggestion in another forum to flash a custom recovery so that i could also wipe the dalvik cache but nothing changed. i can go into recovery just fine and i can install a custom rom as long as the zip file is in the phone memory but not on an external sd card. please help
