I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100G model which was running Cyanogenmod Kitkat version. I wanted to get it on stock firmware. So I downloaded the stock Indian firmware (I9100GDDLS3_I9100GODDLS3_INU) and via ODIN flashed the PD file. Everything went fine according to ODIN but now my phone is just rebooting with the Samsung logo. Can anyone help me what went wrong here? Here is the details of Odin process.

Just reboot to stock recovery and wipe data (factory reset) and wipe cache, and the phone will boot fine

Yeah I guess that's the step missing, I will do that the only issue is my HOME button is not working right now will get it repaired and then try the same. Thanks for the reply.
Yeah booted my phone properly into stock. So for anyone who will be stuck in future and would be wondering what to do.. Wiping the data and clearing the cache is the way to go.
Thanks for the help.
greetings. this did not work for me. iv tried to wipe data and wipe cache, and even reflashed the sgs2 but nothing happened. i tried a suggestion in another forum to flash a custom recovery so that i could also wipe the dalvik cache but nothing changed. i can go into recovery just fine and i can install a custom rom as long as the zip file is in the phone memory but not on an external sd card. please help

I bought the device on my way to UK. Must ship device for warranty.
Device is SGS III blue started good and downloaded apps. after removing original sim and inserting US sim. phone start to heat restart and now stuck on samsung galaxy s III logo and restart again. Download mode works fine but wipe data V up+Home+Power doesnt work. Original Rom country code was XSG. Any idea?
I think I need full stock firmware not only .MD5 on Odin but CSC -Phone- PDA-Bootloader any International version.
As long as download mode working that means we safe are we?

I can go in to download mode if that helps..
I think I found a solution but I'm in the middle of doing it now will post if it worked
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38780087#post38780087
You'll have to go to recovery and wipe data. That'll remove everything from the internal SD card, of course, but the phone will boot up. I faced this issue little while ago. This solved it.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
read the basics. you have to wipe data when switching ROMs. flash a custom recovery via Odin and wipe data from there, so that it doesn't wipe your internal sd
Coming from LiquidSmooth 2.9
Ran triangleaway, then went into download mode, and flashed

Obviously should have read this before I started.
Can you advise the best way forward now. ?
Do I try again using Odin and the same file ?
Thanks
Probably should mention I was following this guide:
[Tut] Unroot the Galaxy SIII (for stock updates/warranty)
I would try flashing recovery and then wiping the phone .

Try flashing the latest TWRP through Odin. Download it from their website 2.8.6.1 in .tar format and flash. Then flash the stock firmware.
