I can go in to download mode if that helps..

I think I found a solution but I'm in the middle of doing it now will post if it worked
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=38780087#post38780087

You'll have to go to recovery and wipe data. That'll remove everything from the internal SD card, of course, but the phone will boot up. I faced this issue little while ago. This solved it.

read the basics. you have to wipe data when switching ROMs. flash a custom recovery via Odin and wipe data from there, so that it doesn't wipe your internal sd

[Q] Odin FAIL when I try to flash an stock firmware on my I9505

Hello everybody. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 factory unlocked.
A week ago I rooted my phone and changed the firmware to an Android Google Play Edition 4.4 Kitkat. Now, I would like to return to the official stock version. I downloaded the firmware from sammobile and other sources. When I try to flash using Odin, always get a FAIL. This is the ODIN messages history.

I tried changing the USB port, uninstalling and instaling Kies, I used different root files, even I used a PIT file, following the steps in this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1727443). I already check kies is not running on background. I tried with different Odin version (1.85, 3.04, 3.07 & 3.09)
I dont know how to fix this problem. Please if anyone can help me I really appreciate.
Thank you so much for all your replies.

Cannot run ODIN to flash MD5

Hey all,
My sch-i545 is stuck in download mode, cannot boot. I want to delete everything and start over.
I downloaded the stock 5.0.1 rom, which what i believe was on it before it soft bricked, and every time I try to run odin with the md5 the program becomes unresponsive. Any ideas???
Download this one. It's official stock:
ODIN v3.10:

Try to use 3.09. It's the only one that worked for me.
Odin 3.0.9 seems to work better, but it fails at a certain point per below.

Any thoughts? :-\
You'll want to flash the first link in this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...pment/odin-i545vrugoc1-factory-image-t3160125
What you are trying to flash is a ROM someone put together I believe. It's not the exact factory image and is probably not wiping all the bad files.
Thank you for the help so far, but I still have the same problem with writing. It fails after about 7 minutes.

Restore to stock. Gone in bootloop :(

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100G model which was running Cyanogenmod Kitkat version. I wanted to get it on stock firmware. So I downloaded the stock Indian firmware (I9100GDDLS3_I9100GODDLS3_INU) and via ODIN flashed the PD file. Everything went fine according to ODIN but now my phone is just rebooting with the Samsung logo. Can anyone help me what went wrong here? Here is the details of Odin process.

Just reboot to stock recovery and wipe data (factory reset) and wipe cache, and the phone will boot fine

Yeah I guess that's the step missing, I will do that the only issue is my HOME button is not working right now will get it repaired and then try the same. Thanks for the reply.
Yeah booted my phone properly into stock. So for anyone who will be stuck in future and would be wondering what to do.. Wiping the data and clearing the cache is the way to go.
Thanks for the help.
greetings. this did not work for me. iv tried to wipe data and wipe cache, and even reflashed the sgs2 but nothing happened. i tried a suggestion in another forum to flash a custom recovery so that i could also wipe the dalvik cache but nothing changed. i can go into recovery just fine and i can install a custom rom as long as the zip file is in the phone memory but not on an external sd card. please help
