I used SP Flash Tool 3.1224.01 to flash my phone with the wrong pre-loader and now its DEAD. It won't turn on, it won't charge and no PC detection. After searching the web for two days I decided to test out the TP method setting 200 ohm resistance. The PC would detect it and driver is installed for 2 seconds then disappear then connects then disappear. It would do that non-stop. The touchpoint is showing around 100 sometimes it jumps around higher and lower. I also tried the method of taking the touch screen apart and heating it up with a lighter but still doesn't work.
I need factory rom with scatter file and all the require files. I tried many different files from here and none work. I look every where but cannot find correct rom files. Please someone help me. Sorry Sir but I don't know how to use team viewer and some people online say its not safe to use team viewer so I will take their advise and not use that program. If you can help me here by posting what you know I would very much appreciated.
All the information I provided are the only information I can get from my phone cause my phone is DEAD. I can only link via TP but keep bouncing off and on. I can only keep it steady via SP flash tool. I'm thinking I need correct factory rom because all those rom that I found in this forum will not go pass the red bar and I keep getting error pop up saying I'm missing certain files.

Dont have a lot of time on the forum. Try connecting your phone while holding the volume down button and see if u get anything.

Hey guys. So, I bricked my phone. I installed RomManager, then ClockworkMode through it, thus I knew that this phone is not supported. It wasn't there in that list, so I chose Commtiva z71 or something like that. My phone doesn't get in download mode anymore. Could this be fixed at home? I really don't want to take it to a service centre.

Exactly as u .i try to backup my rom and my samsung was dead in 5 seconds.I sent them to service twice The firt my motherboard is dead and i wait the second time because i thing is dead again I dont use rom manager never
did you tried to download ClockWorkmodRecovery(cwm) than flash with odin multi downloader and then wipe data?

i also flashed the same recovery through rom manager. i think i have found the first step in solving this issue. all now is that i need help of all of you guys.
All I did was removed my battery while still being connected to usb . After this i kept holding the option button (the button on the upper leftmost side) and with this being hold i inserted the battery. Now my pc recognised the device as samsung usb composite device and also the odin recognises it. but whatever i try my phone stucks at setup connection in odin. pls help.

no need to pull battery out and insert it back just insert the battery ,hold down the option key & insert usb cable thats it....but none of these gonna work you will need JTag to flash
You can even try JIG. Because, you've messed with recovery and boot partition but not the arm11boot (bml8). So, JIG (search Google, it is as cheap as $2 and you can even make one at home) can help you.
If it didn't, just search for JTAG services nearby your area. They'll charge you $20-$40 and your g5'll be alive.

That's not true, sadly. ROM Manager embeds a version of flash_image that will try to flash a boot image to bml8 if the device is not properly recognised. That's what happened for the OP, so a JIG will not resurrect the phone.
Oh...Sorry, I didn't knew that! So, final option left for OP is a JTAG flash.

i searched the i9100 forum for "broken display", but didnt find any solution.
as mentioned the display is black, while the touchscreen is still working. the data i would like to download from the are: photos, contacts
(+ anything else i can recover).
- the phone can not be mounted via USB.
- also downloaded the sdk and tried /tools/ddms without success - doesnt show up/mount.
- the shell(terminal.app) doesnt recognize the command "adb".
- the phone is not rooted.
i am not a pro, but merely a user, so may be i did use any of the above incorrectly, or didnt meet some prerequisites. just tried what i could before bothering you.
any help is appreciated!

Try a PC you need USB to recover therefore USB drivers via KIES .
You may be able to fix screen if its not hardware by download mode and flash stock rom though this is a wipe mode and you will lose some data . But thats what a backups for presume no backup via KIES no back up via GOOGLE no backup via Nandroid ???
You will need a PC POWER phone off
Download stock rom from stock roms post open ODIN put rom to PDA .
Hold down Vol down button + Home button _ Pwr button
next press Vol up button once
Connect Samsung USB cable if you now get a yellow block in ODIN proceed to flash .
No yellow block = no connection .

just to clarify: the OLED is broken - my bullterrier caught the charger cable while walking by. it IS hardware related, but only the display. the touchscreen still works, although its not of much use, if i cant see whats going on on the display ;-)

- in order to access my data on the phone (preferably my macbook pro or an another android phone).
- without having access to the phones display.
- preferably without buying special cables (more of a wish...)

hi how did you brick your G3?
mine is semi-brick, I was updating Lewa OTA then when iot rebooted the screen was like just snow on a TV Set
I took out the battery then now it just stays at the Lewa Logo.
I'm trying SP flash method but still no go

Following the proper steps and downloading the Stock ROM Firmware from trusted supplier, my phone won't boot into anything: recovery, or normal. Though the LED lights up when connected to a computer. However, it doesn't appear on my computer or hear that USB chime. I'm using a Windows 10 (which I've seen many have issues with Windows 10 and drivers) running on Bootcamp 6. I appreciate it if you guys could help me. Thank you very much.
By the way, I have no custom recovery installed. Just the basic Android System Recovery <3e> and I'm not that familiar with Android systems.

Well sorry to hear about that but I know very well how to recover from such situation. You'll need to flash the recovery IMG again so that it boots into recovery mode

Yes my bud. I will provide you the link shortly to some SDK tools so that you can flash your recovery IMG again and et access to recovery mode. I know that situation is chaotic and sucks but I am assuming that you aren't able to access twrp or anything.when you turn the phone on it gets stuck at lenovo and after few minutes it gets restarted on its own. And on connection g it to computer, it just doesn't get connected and nothing appears to be connected. I want you to take the battery out and place it again after few minutes and press the "vol down" button and "power button at the same time. You'll see the same lenovo icon but there will be something written in Chinese or something like that. Now connect your phone to your computer and I advise you to use a very good quality data sharing cable or original lenovo cable. Now your computer will recognise your phone as a hard drive or a storage device.i I'll try to upload a video on that too. Till then try these steps and lemme know if they work and your computer recognises your dead phone.if it does then there is still a hope left. BTW I was stuck in the same situation twice but thank god I saved myself and I am using my device. Note:- this method doesn't uses any software like " QFIL" or "QCOM" loader to flash stock firmware. So my phone doesn't boot. It doesn't even show the Lenovo logo on it. Just mere darkness. :'(
I am going to Hong Kong later this week (this is where I bought the phone) and I don't know, maybe have someone fix it.

Hi.
I tried flashing a rom on a H96 Pro Plus 3+32GB box with an Amlogic S912, chip.
First couple of times when i tried flashing, it went up to 3-4% and gave out an error. Then i unchecked the erase flash and erase bootloader options and it went to 8% and then gave out an error once again.
After a couple of tries with the erase bootloader and erase flash options. It succeded flashing. But when i plugged in the box. There was no picture, there was just a blue light on the box.
The computer won't recognize the box after that, i've tried putting a rom on a SDcard, i've tried shorting some pins, not sure if they were the correct ones, but no luck. There is power going to the box, the blue light is on, but it won't turn on or display any signal.
Please help!

Hi.
Trust me i've searched for a week without any success. Unfortunately the video didn't help me since my problem currently is that the box is getting power but there is no hdmi signal, nor the box is getting recognized by the pc after flashing the rom.

Ok, so i've fixed the tv box and it turns out i was doing something wrong. I didn't have power plugging it in. I was relying on the usb connection to give enough power to the box. I've done this to get back the box. Please if you don't know what you are doing, get someone that really knows. I'm not responsible for any damage that may happen. This is just what i've done to recover the box.
1. Hold the reset button on the box
2. Plug in USB in the pc and in the box
3. Wait 2 seconds and then plug in power.
4. Hold the 5th and 6th pin (i think). Please watch the video andmake sure that you know what you are doing, since 1 bad move could render the box totally unusable. Thanks. you should hold the pins for a couple of seconds and it should pop up
Also i wasn't able to install Aidenrom (while flashing it gives out an error) or Atvexperience (it cant get imported by usb burning tool)
I reinstalled the default rom. And i was using USB Burning Tool V 2.0.8
