[Q] MHL and a non Sense ROM? - HTC One X+

MHL to my TV runs fine on a stock ROM and on ARHD, but when I change to Paranoid Android (CM, non Sense) I get audio only and no video through the HDMI cable.
Does anyone know of a non Sense ROM which will be OK with MHL?
(I'm looking to hook up Sixaxes, and of course Sense ROMs won't do that )

Good ROM for me

Hello guys
I'm still on stock rom bud i want to try the custom one.
Could you please recommend me any?
I would expect:
- Android 4
- The AOSP one (or with AOSP theme) - not sense ui
- Working 3D (3D camera, watch 3D video/pictures)
- Stable for daily use - without bugs with calls, sms etc.
I'm GSM user.
Thank you!
Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1676276.
Everything is working.
It does not look like AOSP :X

AFAIK there are no aosp ics roms with 3d working. To have 3d working, you must use a sense based rom. You could use a desensify script on a sense rom for a close to aosp experience.

All AOSP roms to date do not have 3D or wimax working. You can get a sense based rom and use a rom cleaner script to remove as much sense as possible, but the framework will still be sense. I use CyanogenMod 9 (AOSP) and all its missing is 3d & wimax. When I do need those features, I nandroid back to a sense rom. Good luck.

OK, thanks for replies.
I like classic theme like cm9, but sense is good too..
I'm still deciding if im going to root/s-off/custom rom or wait for official update..

You could wait, but I'm sure as soon as the official ota is released, it will be released as a custom rom that is much better.

And if i install custom rom now, will i be able to update "back" to official then?

I think so, but why? Within a few days of the official update, the awesome devs on this site will release a rooted version that is much better.

How do I get webtop to work on lapdock

The answer at the present time for the laddock is no. Webtop3 (basically tablet ui) only works on the hd dock or hdmi. You can use tablet ui on the Lapdock with epinter's CM10 (and others) providing you follow some steps to toggle into tablet ui.

ICS on Lapdock

Hi all,
I've been running a Jelly Bean ROM for a while now but need to start using the lapdock again. Are there any ICS (or JB) ROMs that have a working webtop for the lapdock?
Alternatively is there a way to get Google Now working on Gingerbread ROMs?!
Cheers
Wag
There is no web top in ICS/jb. There is HDMI mirroring though.

JB - ROM with HDMI and front camera

Is there any bloatware free ROM that supports HDMI and Front camera, possibly JB?

First this should be in q and a section...second hdmi will never work on jb roms unless Sony gives its drivers and stuff which they wont do... Front camera works in jb roms...

I try to connect miracast dongle on stock rom 4.2.2 and custom CM11 4.4.2, many miracast apps use. Without any positive result. Need to fix this problem software.
