[Q] Boot Ani Help - AT&T HTC One (M7)

So I made my first boot animation. There are some great tutorials out there but it still took me about 4-5 hours of constant tweaking and I still am not where I want to be with it. I have embedded a video. Between the splash screen and my boot ani there is several seconds of black screen. Is there anyway to speed up the gap between the two?
Anyway, let me know what you guys think. I can make it available to those that want it.

[Q] Sending HD2 for Warranty Service, but...

Hello!
I flashed my HD2 a few times to try to get a ROM that was flawless, but that unfortunately didn't happen. All of the ones I tried were really slow and now I'm thinking it might just be the phone I need to replace. Maybe I got a bad unit.
Anyway, when I went to go to send it in I realized that there were custom boot screens from the ROMs I installed, however I got rid of them all except for ONE SCREEN that appears when the phone boots to the screen that shows you all of the ROM information (The three lines that start with R in the first line, G in the second line and D in the third line) where it's the LEODragon ROM wallpaper from a prior ROM I had and I can't get it to disappear no matter what I do! HELP!
Thanks for your help in advance!
those numbers remain there ! and they were there since the beginning u got ur phone ! so dont worry ! just give it for service! everyone has those numbers from the day 1 !
you mean the second, non standard splash screen, before the animation, see the watermarking your leo link in my sig for more info
i did exactly the same, you need to make asecondary splash identical to the first, so it all looks like one splash.

I just have a quick question for devs...

carinlynchin gave me an idea to start this thread. Although I highly doubt it, is there any way to speed up boot time???
I downloaded blade buddy, free from the market, and in there, there is an option to disable boot animation completely. It helped considerably for me.
Did that cut boot times???
Does that remove both the dual core factory moto logo and the carrier logo or just the carrier (or I guess ROM) logo? How much faster would you say? Is it just a black screen while it boots?
As soon as the screen jumps and the Motorola logo starts moving up and down with a puddle rffect around it, and the Sprint bootscreen, believe it or not, those two are one bootscreet. As for faster time, I'd like to know, myself.

AndroWook Prime constantly rebooting on its own...

First off, if this problem has already been posted then I apologize, but please point me in the right direction...
I've tried three different versions of Androwook (2.2, 2.3, and 2.31) and all of them are doing the same thing. Once I'm installed and all is good to go it starts rebooting on its own every 30-60 seconds after Asus logo and AndroWook load page...
Something to note though as it may have some importance is that after it restarts and when it gets to the Asus logo it'll stay on the logo for a couple of seconds, go black screen for a second or two, Asus logo again for another couple of seconds, black again for another few seconds, Asus logo again for 5-10 seconds then AndroWook loading page (at this point the red line animation that runs under the logo is slow for it's first "lap" then goes normal speed a good 10 times until it finishes booting). Trying to play around with the rom will only result in it freezing and crashing 30-60 seconds in again, then repeat the process all over.
I'm stumped on this... and I REALLY want to get this one working since it's the only one I find very appealing atm.
Thanks for any help.

What kernels have you tried? Have you tried selecting stock kernel during setup?

Just gave it a shot upon getting home from work... even worse result, actually. It just froze on Asus logo page after installation. :S
Have you seen an issue like this yet? Thanks for the help again btw
Edit: I won't be trying either of the data2sd kernels since I won't be using an sd card permanently on this... so tried yours resulting in the rebooting and stock resulting in the freeze.
sounds like you have either failed to wipe or you have not followed the instructions on installing the proper bootloader. any details on what you did to install bootloader?

Change Malaysk Splash screen

Does anyone know how to change the splash screen that comes up before rhe boot animation in the malaysk rom
Or JY ROM for that matter?
Anyone
I guess as he wrote the rom, its totally up to him.
5 seconds Max of that screen is a small price to pay for all the work he has put in.
Saying that, he may be fine about changing it, who knows!

help with Motorola Razr boot animation please

hi,
thanks to all the great threads on here I have really enjoyed tinkering with the boot animation on my Motorola Razr i
my problem is in timing - I have a sound file of just 20 seconds, but the boot animation completes after about 14 secs
I have tinkered with the frames per second in desc.txt (attached) and tried from 10 - 100 frames set as infinate - but all to no avail.
I 'm beginning to think that it is a result of having unlocked the boot loader at Motorola website
this adds a warning screen to the boot up, which has never bothered me before, and what I now have is 3 screens in my boot sequence -
a Motorola Logo that stays on for about 4 secs, a 12 secs warning screen and 14 secs of my boot animation (pics attached)
I quite like the logo, but would ideally love to get rid of that warning screen as the extra 12 secs would be great to have.
does anyone know if removing it is possible - or if there is any other way to get my animation to last 20 secs or so?
any help would be really appreciated.
for moderators .... is this thread perhaps in the wrong forum?
would it be better suited in the Razr i forum here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/razr-i/themes-apps
if so, please move it.
thanks
I'm close to jumping off a bridge
:crying:
I really am still struggling with this and any help would very welcome ... after having extracted the bin files from the XT890 stock firmware I got here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2239706
I followed this thread to dedicated to the Razr i to the letter: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2340194 .... but failed (see attached pic)
the stocklogo.img file the OP referred in case of a failure was not available, and despite ages of googling I cannot find one
so now I am completely stuck! ... and a tad baffled ... even if I did somehow succeed, what really bothers me is that whilst the OP's say these methods work,
(and apparently replace the 'nag' screen with the Motorola 'M' logo) I currently have both - so would I end up with 2 red 'M' logos? perhaps I'm misreading it all.
whatever, I am now at my wits end and feel quite the fool having never before failed to implement such 'tweaks' found at XDA
