Better ask the dev of that ROM..
Try wipe data/ factory reset and flash cm10.1

Try super wipe and flash cm10.1 or stock (my preference) ..
Coz whatever bugs you have.. They will be cleaned by stock..

Try a super wipe and install a stock rom....then try flashing the rom again. Before flashing, dont forget to wipe cache, data, dalvik cache and format the /system folder.
Hope this helps.

Woops sorry
Connect with your computer to the phone using "adb shell" and check with "dmesg" why it fails...
ill recommend a full wipe again and reflash the rom, i used to have a similar problem with both Resurrection and Wanamlite roms, usually after another wipe/clear dalvik it worked like a charm

go into CWM mode and theres an option
wipe data/factory reset
advanced -> wipe dalvik cache
reflash the rom if you are still inside CWM
and test it again
or with a simple wipe on both data and dalvik, without reflashing the rom
try that

Similar problem happened to me several times when i was using MIUI and CM7.
have you tried reboot your router or join some other wireless network?Maybe it's not a ROM related problem.

Hi, did you flash FXP over stock ROM? Did you try hard reset after flashing?

Yes, i flashed it using keiran's kernel (provided hadn't been booting) from a just flashed stock rom.
Hard reset is what exactly? sorry for the noob question
is it a data, cache, and dalvik wipe?
Flash the boot.img that comes with the CM9 ROM through Fastboot, and then flash CM9 through recovery. Don't forget to wipe everything BEFORE flashing the ROM (data, cache, dalvik-cache).
WiFi works fine for me on FXP150 for Xperia U

have you considered doing a full wipe and flashing the rom again, and fixing permissions or flashing a different rom to see if the audio works?

if the audio worked on one rom and not another, then the system files arent flashing properly.. what recovery are you using.. and like i said have you tried flashing the rom over.. and if so what steps do you take when doing a "full wipe" to flash the rom?

okay, ill say this once again.. *then i think ill add it to my signature*... if you take the proper steps to flash a rom.. make sure that rom is working properly before you do any additional mods to the rom and then say something like the rom is broken or something isn't working../ and also what recovery are you using.. because if your s-on and using any other recovery other than 4EXT your kernel might not flash properly...

try flashing speed rom 7.8 by doing the following...
wipe data/factory
format system
wipe cache partition
wipe delvik cache partition
flash rom
wipe delvik cache
boot rom
sit and wait till screen off and boot back into recovery
fix permissions and wipe delvik cache one more time
enjoy rom... do nandroid backup before applying all tweaks
make sure smart flash in 4ext is enabled-ed

it's no problem man, i look out for people having issues that i might have had before, or that i already read about somewhere... and yes fourthbar is one of my fav rom's for the amaze so far since its built on cm9 .. but its cool that everythings working once again.. don't forget to make nandroid backups after you flash a rom successfully and before you try and flash another rom

hi .am using xperia u,and have installed kernel phantom.while installing firebean i had a problem.1ly the boot animation is visible and not able to enter into the menu.pls give me some suggetions to over come this problem..
tnks..
did you wipe cache and dvalik and data before flashing?
Sent from my AOSP 4.3 Xperia S via Tapatalk
Enter in to recovery, wipe cache/dalvik and reboot system, if it don't works then reflash the ROM.
If you are installing the ROM by flashing from CWM Recovery, wipe cache/dalvik before flashing.
If you are installing a custom ROM over another ROM might also cause this problem. so clear data also..

try flashing another custom kernel, and try to enter into recovery.. if you can enter clear cache, data, dalvik and try booting system.
If this doesn't works you might be doing something wrong. please re do the things which I told you in the previous post. It seems you are skipping some parts.
Flashing Stock FW for Xperia U must bring you out of this. Have you tried out finding the correct FirmWare for your device. I think the latest FW is based on jelly bean and build version is 6.2.A.x.xx....

I thnk @GreekDragon means try doing a factory reset and wipe cache from stock recovery, then reboot. If that doesn't fix the issues, try going back to odin and flashing the stock rom again. Sometimes re-flashing can work. Again I would always do a factory reset/wipe cache after flashing
You can try getting the modified stock kernel from @Phil3759 's thread, this will root your phone and give you a custom recovery but is otherwise the same as the stock kernel. This probabaly won't fix those issues by itself though
