You flashed a FIREWALL through Odin does not make any sense at all .
What have you flashed .
Boot to recovery and factory reset .

make a factory reset from recovery mode. you'll be good to go.

My phone crashed while installing an app from play store. It required a battery pull, after which it kept getting stuck on the kernel boot logo (I was on a near-latest JellyBam rom with Siyah kernel). So I booted to CWM. Tried a restore. It failed. Tried wiping data, ok, then it crashed on wiping cache partition. Now it won't boot into CWM anymore. It still has download mode.
Meanwhile my wife is pregnant and as you can imagine this is not the best time to end up without a phone!
Suggestions?

You're soft bricked... if you have a custom recovery flash a new ROM or use Odin to flash back to stock firmware.

when i try to install the firmware it doesnt say SYSTEM on odin, it says RECOVER
Not sure if it's the same as the S2 but for my device it's volume down and power to boot into download mode. Then connect to Odin and flash a stock tar file.

After entering download mode, open Odin, plug in the USB, click PDA, select a stock tar for your version of the S3, then click start.
Just make sure you have a tar for your variant so that you don't flash the wrong bootloader and end up with something that needs to be JTAG'd in order for USB to be recognized by the computer.

Not to worry, i fixed it ! all that had to be done, was like you said, flash stock, odin was just messing up a little last time, but, thanks !

Did you wipe Data and Cache and Dalvik before flashing CM10?? Id recommend that if you didnt, try holding recovery buttons for 12 secs should get you into recovery, if not then reflash CWM recovery zip via ODIN and try again, If all else fails then you will need to flash rom via ODIN then flash new rom in CWM recovery

I tried updating Cyanogenmod but needed the new gapps, but unfortunately I installed the wrong one. Now I have no way to access my phone as I can only see "Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped". On top of that, whenever I try to boot into recovery to install the correct gapps, I am greeted by a blank screen. I have tried reinstalling the recovery with Odin and I am getting the same thing. Any help?
Full wipe or flash stock fw via Odin
Use Odin if you can boot to OS and reflash recovery of choice.

first off my s3 doesn't have a power button. I had removed it because it was causing a lot of problems of reboots.
I was on archidroid 4.4.4 running arter kernel.
I dint know that to flash another kernel I had to first get to stock kernel as I never did that on my P3100.
So I flashed boeffela kernel and bamm.. My device would not go anywhere from the Samsung logo screen....
I dont have a power button so cant reboot to recovery.
I tried to use USB jig to get into download mode and flashed a stock 4.3 Rom but that too doesn't goes ahead of the Samsung logo screen.
Please help me.

No you need to wipe first.Plus you can't flash 4.4 via odin because there is no official stock 4.4 for our devices you need a custom version to flash in Cwm/PhilZ or Twrp recovery
