Their are multiple fakes not just one type of fake as well .

couldn't agree more.
In addition, I had the chance to look at & use a S3 clone some time back as a friend bought one over here in Bangkok. To be honest, the phone looked the same (I know that is the definition of a clone) but even was snappy and usable as a normal phone. Wouldn't exchange my original S3 but as a travel phone or for people that do not need a high end device, why not?
@op: as said before, try a quick google, maybe there are some Chinese forums that develop for the clones?
Search XDA possible in the Android development forum .

If you can't afford an S3, don't buy something that kind of looks like it just to think you have a high-end phone. Get a phone from Samsung or HTC in the low range for the same price, and you'll probably get much more development, because these cheap fake phones are literally a waste of money. That's my opinion.

I agree with this guy, i'd rather buy a cheap low to mid phone than any of these knock offs
Ive seen these phones in action and they suck big time, they might seem snappy and good at first but trust me in the end you'll be very dissapointed.
Im not trying to be rude( and i know glebun wasnt either) but its the truth, i know phones like the s3 can be expensive for some(myself included) but regardless of the amount of money i pay for a phone, i want to get my moneys worth
Whats the point of paying 100 for a phone that looks like 500 when it performs like a 10$ one?

i went to best buy today to exchange for white note.it took me two hours just to exchange because old people buying iphones.they really dont even need a iphone.they need old flip phones.three people front of me bought iphone 4 or 4s.i couldnt tell the diffrenece.it took atleast 45 min to teach them how to use it.

As much as I hate Apple and their products I gotta agree. Simplicity is the key ingredient to Apple's success. A counterpoint to this is the fact the simplicity is what you make of it. I promise 5 years from now Android will become the new 'simple' and iProducts will become the new flip-phone.
Think of computers 10 years ago. Out of every 10 people, theres was one that would get called up to hook up a printer or set up a keyboard. That same ratio is now 1 out of 2, because people are educated in the matter.
Oh, and less flame, more actual content.

When people used to ask me android or iphone i used to say android, obviously. but i got tired of explaining why its better and you know what, for a guy whos not tech savy at all, an iphone will be much eisier to use. i think it would be much better for them to learn how to use android becasue it can do so much more but hey... i dont make any money of more android sales.
i did get my father to make the switch from ios to android, (i sold his 3gs on craigslist for $350, which paid for galaxy s2, accessories, batteries etc. but thats only because i want the best for my father. if others want to be stuck, locked into that riged ios.... be my guest.
sorry for rambling... but in short, yeah ios is so much simpler, you cant say oh i dont like this so ill change it. thats the beauty of it. Severely dumbed down. but thats what alot of people want...

But when its your primary phone then its too big to take it everywhere and answering phone calls in public looks very weird
As no money is involved I'd say yes. It's a lovely phone if you can get used to the size. Played with it many times and it's lovely. The screen size is excellent and doesn't seem that big due to its slimness.
The s-pen is quite useful. And development seems good as well.

If I had this offer I would do it without hesitation. Its just a bigger SG2, bigger battery and its a really nice experience especially looking at web sites with the bigger screen. Plus the s pen I say do it.

Anyway, I guess everyone has answered it already. Check out the Note personally and get a feel of it. If you don't mind the size and are comfortable, than definitely go for the trade.

Sorry my friend but i don't agree,,,,, i have both the phones and i promise u , once after using the note for a few days , i am starting to think that this is the siez a smart phone out to be of ,,,trust me the experience is just better with it ,,,

I agree with most who posted here, as I have a friend who has one and am thinking of getting one myself (but want to wait couple more months to see what other new phones coming).
You have to ask yourself What you want to use it for?!
I do a few jobs and one of them is graphics design. Something like that can be useful to me, when I have an idea from out of the blue and want to do a quick mockup.

However - I also think the price of it is a bit high (and I'm not short on money). Here in Asia, can get myself a tab/pad for even cheaper... which will give me better use for what I need.

Seriously ? As someone wise on here said in another thread about 5 minutes ago (or words to that effect) "Think about it logically".
Of course the price is going to drop in many places. New model coming, telcos flogging the phone on plans in particular will be wanting to get rid of them; I.E. Used to be on say $39 a mth +$5 per mth for handset plan now available for $29 per mth +$0.
Not exactly rocket surgery.

lawsuits are perhaps the newest, and one of the most effective means of advertisement. simply because the suits likely cost less in the long run than the marketing dollars to get the same results. by that I mean that virtually everyone on the planet who cares about phones, has heard about apple and samsung in the last six months.
The only thing left to do now ?...decide which one you want to buy...

I knw he wont agree bt I feel if he agrees it would boost the donation money.... the developer was a cm maintainer... One member of our xda community.... And I feel so help less... Will donate through my dad's card and will ask my friends too..

i know him ,i watched some videos on CM teams and there q and ans section on youtube some times !they make free of cost and now they need help ,i will surely help him ! no need of sticky , XDA portal news published this and members will see this thread at least once . so hope for good

Anyway how expensive medication is I mean,Americans are richest people in world how they do not have money for something like this.
In my country with is 10x poorer no one gets diseases like (I mean my grandmas mum lived for 110 years) that even medication and doctors are in most cases free.
I'm not sure what Americans eat thought but most not be healthy if hospitals and medication is paid.
If think about it food factories poison food,medical companies make expensive medicines,people gets sick and buy medicine.
Its magic circle and even American Authorities are helping by ejecting unhealthy things into atmosphere.
I mean how corrupt their country can be?
