It has been a fortnight since I received my Ubislate 7c+. During this period the device screen has blanked out 3 times. On two occasions, the device started working after a few hours. However on the last occasion, it has not been possible to restart.
The technical support team suggested a reset and charge for 6-8 hrs either with the adapter or via USB. This has not solved the problem.
Anyone experienced this? Can someone suggest a solution.
Thanks
Did you alter anything related to the stock configuration...???
What exactly is the problem..?? It switches of or the screen just turns blank. ??

Yes, I have added some apps after I received it.
The display blanks out even when one is using it. The device appears to be ON only the display is blank. I can say this since plugging it to a laptop causes it to be recognized (ie. the OS tries to find a driver for the device).
I have tried to reset the device through the reset hole on the back without any luck.

Hi all.
does anybody know how to activate "car mode" on the Alpha - or does it not have it? I've seen hints on the internet that suggest it should have it, samsung's website says to activate it in S-Voice, but I don't see the option there either.
Can anybody help?
Samsung call it 'Hands Free' mode in KitKat ROMs, but although their website says it should be on the handset it is not there.

Also if you go onto S Voice and say 'Car Mode' it replies that the device does not support this feature.
Anyone has this problem?
It's quite a process to unflash, back-up, reflash everything + it is quite anoying for a person to test it on. Can anyone tell me what could be wrong?
My settings:
I am on latest stock Oxygen 2.2 (happened before upgrade as well)
BlueSpark Kernel 79 (happened on stock as well)
Xposed: Gravitybox, Greenify, Youtubemods
WalkmanMod
Problem still persists, stock same result, no one with this problem?
Also happens to me sometimes. I found that lowering the volume helps. At least people stop complaining.
This solved it for me: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...-v1-0b-2016-01-19-t3296693/page2#post65950353

It seems like the mic records the sound coming from the speaker of the phone. Echo cancellation should cut this off, but it seems like its not working properly. If you mute your phone the problem disappear, which should back up my theory.
So, without noticing for a while, it seems my IMEis are fried. I went to a week long music festival and my phone was doing just fine all along, but when I got home I started having some problems with connectivity and receiving/sending messages and calls. (not having flashed another rom then.)
The weird thing is that whenever I flash a stock based rom, connectivity to the network works about 80% of the time?? Wouldn't that be impossible without the proper IMEIs in place?
My numbers show as "all ones" and "all twos" respectively, I have tried quite some ways of restoring IMEIs without any luck :/ The chameleon app was able to change them to a two or three digit number with some brackets and asterisks in it, but not to the number I want it to be :c
Any help would be wildly appreciated!
Thanks guys! -Boris

Sometimes touch is not responding. Is this software problem or any hardware related issue. Is Any one facing same problem on their phones.
Ya m also facing the same problem. Is there any solution?
I face this usually while charging plugged in , and sometime while playing pubg, the touch is not at all responsive for 3 or 4 seconds, very irritating phone and Colour OS , while watching movie when notification comes from WhatsApp, if we try to expand from notification bar, it expanses and gets stucks without any response again i have to turn off screen and turn back on, very irritating.
Once development starts for this device, i will remove colour os and install stock osand check if same problem occurs.

Backup all data to pc from internal storage and reset the device and see, if it still occurs, better take to service center.

I am also facing this issue. It is not persistent but comes and goes. After switching off the display once or twice, the problem goes away.
Not sure it the problem is software related or hardware.
