Folks;
running CM10 nightly builds on a WT19i / coconut device, so far all along with (Extended LWW Kernel for CM10) - this works well so I'm mostly happy, yet I still wonder whether it's just me or whether the actual boot.img that comes with CM10 nightly zips doesn't reliably work / boot on WT19i? What are your experiences?
Cheers and thanks,
Kristian

Hello,
after some reading i decided i would like to flash my x10i with cm 7.2 because after all the posts i read this should be a fast and good rom for gaming and performance with alot of features and the camera and rotate function should be fixed in the latest release. However... im having trouble to find a correct download and im not sure were to find the correct one (latest release ) for my x10i.
I saw i post about fxp 115 cm7.2 ( posted on 6 april ) on xda, but with google i saw already fxp 120 cm7.2. Also i came across a site telling me about cyanogenmod 7.2 rc2 but my device wasnt listed there, and now after all the things i read i dont know which i should use fo flash my x10i with. Also i would like to get rid of the sony ericson logo on boot up.
Could some help me out here, meaning ..
1. what is the latest release of cm7.2 for x10i?
Optional
2. where i can get the latest release? ( trusted site )
3. what kernel i can use with cm7.2, so ill be rid of the sony ericson logo on boot up? Or some other option, if there is one..But as far as i know i need an other kernel to achive this.
greetings,

Go for M & M team's CM 7.2 for unlocked bootloaders
It's the fastest one with all features working properly including camera
Kernel will be there in their thread
Happy flashing

Alternatively, you can download the FXP120 leaked release, just use it with the FXP119 kernel.
After using Ice Cream Sony by Krabappel, i wanted to try other roms.
All worked fine, except for AOKP and MIUI4.
When i install these roms (of course i first flash baseband, then kernel, and finally enter cwm to wipe everything and install rom zip) everything works except wi-fi. I can turn wi-fi on, and it finds all the networks. But when i try to connect to a network, it only says 'Saved'. It doesn't even try to connect.
So, how to solve this problem?
thanks!
For clarity, i have installed these combinations:
AOKP Rom - sirkay kernel - baseband 0.70
AOKP Rom - FXP kernel - baseband 0.70
AOKP Rom - FXP kernel - baseband 0.64
(i forgot which kernel i have used in combination with miui)
Ice Cream Sony KA16 - Night Elf Kernel - baseband 0.70 -> works perfect!
UPDATE:
I decided to give MIUI another go, and downloaded the latest MIUI4 release. I installed it, including the NEO Spacious Rom Patch. Baseband is 0.70 and kernel is stock_initd_root_cwm kernel. And everything works now!
So only rom that doesn't work for me is AOKP Rom.
i think it makes more sense if i ask this question in the android development topic.
So this thread can be closed/deleted
Is there a matrix of compatible baseband/kernel/ROM configurations? I tried using sirkay's boot_9.587c - ICS - xKernel v9.587-C, flykernel0_6, and flykernel0_8, but they all caused reboot cycle (bootloop) with CM9.1 FXP 142.
I had to extract boot.img out of the FXP zip file and flash that kernel to successfully load up CM 9.1. Incidentally that kernel version is 2.6.32.9-FXP. FWIW, I was upgrading from CM7.2 RC1, updated baseband from D-64 to G-77 before flashing kernel and then CM 9.1.
Ideally I want to use the fastest kernel out there compatible with CM9.1, and one with Linaro would be ideal. Any suggestions?
Am I missing something, there's a whole topic specifically for questions ... [HELP] Q&A Thread - MUST POST ALL QUESTIONS HERE [ 1 2 3 ... Last ]
...I'm new here but it seems some people either can't read or just cba.
Yes there is Q&A thread!
Anyway for CM based ROMs you have to use CM kernel otherwise you got bootloop... i've heard AOSP/AOKP is compatible but i never tried it myself
i have looked at various threads, including the FXP thread for the cm10.
I am really confused:
1) between the cm10 nightly or the fxp.
2)which version of cm10nightly or fxp( keeping in mind the bugs)
3) which kernel to use ( i need a kernel which can reduce bugs, save battery , and allow me to overclock)
4) how to make the walkman button work on these roms
please help me...
Please search before posting a new thread, all questions should be answered in other threads
1) There is no difference between the nightly and the FXP versions, but FXP will do more updates
2) Use the latest FXP cm10 release
3) Use the kernel from the zip or Mesa for cm10 or lupus or cm10 extended, the one you like :good:
4) I don't have a lww so I don't know but there should be a thread about this...

Hey, I was finally able to get my "rebooting out of nowhere" problem fixed.
But there's always the other evil side of a medal.....
My freakinĀ“ Compass isn't working anymore.... so. here it comes. I am pretty positive it'll work if i could try some kernals, turns out pretty much all the kernal links are offline...
Running Ultra Slim CM 10 on 2.6.32.9-LuPuS-JB-v8
but without the compass the phone is just a brick since I use it frequently..
Anyone has some Kernals? NaA jb satsuma for example?
SO Please XDA, PIMP my Phone, cheers
