[Q] Boot loop Samsung GT-P6800 7.7 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys.... I am newcomer here.
I have a problem with my Samsung GT-P6800.
It cannot boot and stuck at Samsung logo. I previously had the same problem but at that time I was able to fix it through pressing the power button + volume up (if i am not mistaken) and I could reinstall the android, even though I had to wipe all data on it. This time, there is no such option like that. It just said "updating something" and returned to the logo and it cannot be turned off. When the power is turned off, it will be back on with the logo ''Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7" until the battery runs out. When I press the power button + volume down, it said something like "custom ROM" and "downloading" but nothing happened. I really get frustrated because of this problem, since I don't know anything about rooting, flashing, or things like that, and i had never tried it before.
Yesterday I brought it to Samsung Center. The problem is, I bought this Tab in Barcelona last year and now I am in Indonesia. The staff there explained that there is no guarantee that the gadget can be fixed. There are only two possibilities, either can be repaired or totally dead. Samsung hardware and software from Europe and Asia are different and they do not have access to the software for Samsung EU region.
I really feel desperate. Is there any way to fix the problem? Can it be fixed by flashing, rooting, etc.? I would greatly appreciate your help! Thank you.

Sony Tablet S - Stuck on Boot

Hey guys,
I am currently having an issue where my S1 gets stuck on the boot up screen. It seems to freeze on the "Sony" text before it gets to the boot animation and just stays there until I long press the power button to turn off. I tried the reset function first to no avail. Then I let the battery completely drain and recharge before I turned it back on and it still gets stuck in the same place. I have not rooted or done anything to it but download a few apps and a launcher. Two things I would like to avoid is doing a factory reset but more importantly avoid dealing with Sony and their warranty. Any help you all could provide would be appreciated!
Unfortunately you have only this two choices ...
Factory reset or Sony (dealer) warranty ...

I was having wifi issues after rooting and did a factory reset solving my problem. If you don’t have that many apps on your tab I'm pretty sure it will fix your problem. Since you haven't rooted your devise then you should be fine calling Sony tech support if the factory reset doesn’t fix the boot loop.
Thanks for your responses. I spent a lot of time setting up my home pages as hubs so this sucks!
Next question, does anyone know how to perform factory reset without booting up the device? I performed one when I first received it but went through the Settings. Since I cant get past the boot screen, I obviously cant do it that way.
factory data reset
with the tablet off you need to press and hold the volume + button and then press and hold the power button. keep holding both buttons and when you see the sony logo release the power button only. once you get the android system recovery mode you release the volume button and use the volume + and - to navigate the menu and quickly press the power button to make a selection. before you do the reset try this: access the recovery mode and select restart and cancel, your tablet might boot normally.

If you are unable to enter stock recovery I would think you will probably have to contact Sony. Even if you have adb I don’t think you would be able to do anything because your devise is not rooted. Someone correct if I am wrong.
I believe you are right.
I was unable to get the tablet into recovery using the method stated above. I get to the Sony screen (as always) but when I release the volume button the tablet turns off. Now I have to deal with Sony. Crap! What are the chances they replace it under warranty when I bought it off ebay?

Call them and play dumb. Tell them that you received it as a gift and you weren’t sure where it was purchased from. It’s worth a shot.

My Solution
I just had this problem, what I did was..
when on the Sony logo I took out my SD card>unplugged power>did a hard reboot>waited about 30sec>then powered the tablet on and it booted normally.
I hope this was somewhat helpful
My Tablet have the same issues. It goes to Sony Service Center. I think is a shame for Sony, because the tablet is 8 months old. That is not quality.

HELP! Samsung galaxy s2 sgh-t989 stuck in the ultimate boot loop.

Ok, so heres the deal. The s2 is my sisters phone, and she comes home and told me the phone wont turn on, that its stuck on the boot screen and it just keeps turning off and doing it again. So I started looking into it (Im an iPhone user, so I'm not too familiar with android devices. BUT I do know a bit about computers, cell phones and just technology in general). I ended up finding out that its stuck in a soft brick. So I started youtubing how to fix it. Found a great method using Odin3 and Samsung Kies. AND IT WORKED. I turned the phone back on, got past the lock screen and everything was all good.
After about 30 seconds, THE PHONE BRICKED AGAIN:crying:. And it went right back into the boot loop, I cant get it into download mode because it just keeps restarting after a couple of seconds. With that happening, I cant get the computer to recognize it so I can do a recovery fix with Samsung Kies. I legit cannot find any solution to it.
The thing that baffles me and is causing me a huge headache is the fact that THE PHONE IS NOT ROOTED. nothing has been done to it, its completely stock. So if there is no solution to it, can somebody at least tell me what might have been able to cause this?
Thanks to all,
Dariel
Well, you're in the wrong forum for the SGH-T989. That's probably your issue.

[Q] LG Mach Won't Get Past Boot Screen

I bought an LG Mach LS860 (4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich) about a week ago, and I just found out about rooting. (This is my first Android.) I had no luck last night, but I tried today and I got it rooted.
Anyway... here's the problem: I was altering some settings with an app (I believe it was called Pimp My ROM.) and everything was fine. When I restarted, the battery was lower by about 7%. I figured the changes I made were the reason for this, so I went back and reverted them. However, when I restarted the phone this time, it wouldn't get past the boot screen. It would flash the Boost logo, go dark, then flash it again with an animation and a short vibrate. That's all. So I tried restoring the factory settings. (Volume down + power button, then power button and power button.) The phone went through and reverted settings, then rebooted. But THIS time, I got messages popping up like "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped." I believe there was something along the lines of "Unfortunately, Home has stopped." as well. On a layer below that at the bottom of the screen, there was another type of error. I think it had to do with voicemail. After the phone sat there for a bit as I looked online for a solution, the phone restarted again. Now it just goes to the problem from the beginning with the boot screen. My computer makes a noise indicating the USB is connected, but all my phone does is charge off it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
It's not necessarily that I'm inexperienced. I've done all sorts of flashing and things on PSP. Obviously Android is much more complex. But I know that it's not bricked unless it won't turn on at all. Because that's not a brick.
There's also very little (if any) development for this specific model. No one cares about the LG Mach because there are much more well-known phones. But I digress.
Please help. I'm extremely desperate to get this working again.
EDIT: I recently thought of another question. Would the hard reset erase all evidence of the root access? Considering I just bought the phone, I might be able to send it back. But obviously if they know I accessed the root, the warranty is void.

VERIZON LG V10 VS990W BOOTLOOP heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp me please!!!!

Hello friends, a few weeks ago I was using my cell normally and suddenly resumed. Wanting to use it again I realized I did not pass the LG logo screen. At the time I thought it was just that the software was failing. To take the service technician, after 4 days I said no rom had found on the internet. (I live in Mexico, and the city is small so there are not many specialists). I myself then started looking for the solution until you get to this page. Download Two rom, I think it was the 19b and 22a KDZ If I remember correctly. I went with the technical and I gave this product then tested one of the two operating systems but said I had only worked for a while and then returned to the screen logo. When I return my phone, no longer it worked. I press for a full day the power button and nothing happened.
My question is: Is it a hardware problem? it has a solution? battery problem maybe? I have to change the logic board? please them greatly appreciate your help, thank you very much.
Nobody has answered, sorry. It is definitely a known hardware problem. Unfortunately, you will have to warranty return it or swap it through your carrier.

My friend just brought over two of the same models for me to 'fix'. Both are stuck on the LG start screen.
I managed to boot in recovery mode and selected factory reset. After about half an hour being stuck on the start screen, it began to perform the factory reset. After connecting to the WIFI in my house it got stuck on the Start screen again.
This is all while I'm downloading the kdz file in the background.
Try this guide. That's what I plan to do.
