Same issue here. Had been running CM9 for long time then tried a new rom, which I cant even remember what it is because after it bricked I put it down for 3 months but I believe it was a Jelly Bean ROM maybe even CM10. Just loops the boot animation. Been awhile since I was mucking with this stuff any help is appreciated. I used to always flash new roms and boot loaders but cm9 worked so good for so long I forgot some of the procedures. I believe the problem was a jelly bean rom on a 4.0 kernel or bootloader if that helps. Any links are appreciated.

Have you tried a factory reset in recovery?
If you can boot to Recovery mode, and you have a working ROM on your sdcard, you can just flash the ROM. but ensure you format/factory reset, wipe cache as well as dalvic before flashing the new ROM and after the flashing you need to wipe cache and dalvic again before rebooting. If, on the other hand you cannot boot to Recovery, try booting to Download mode and Odin ICS on the device and it should start if the problem is only bootlooping and nothing more serious.
Cheers.

Hello guys,
I must admit I am an absolute noob a bit out of my depth and panicking a little bit now. I successfully rooted and flashed my phone with a custom rom, the resurrection ics v9.2 however I wanted to go back to stock vodafone rom. So i downloaded BUKE1 vodafone firmware and flashed it using ODIN. Now my phone is stuck in a bootloop with the galaxy S II logo repeatedly appearing. I have just left it as is as I am now too scared to do anything :/
Any advice on what I can do? I know you guys have been over this a million times but I am freaking out.
I have read the boot loop thread above and it says to flash a stock rom using odin but that is what I had already done...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Jake
Try wiping all possible things in recovery.
And don't worry, atleast some1 pro will help you to get your phone to boot, also can you get to recovery and download mode

Hey thanks for the quick reply, I can get to recovery mode definitely. I just went in and wiped user data / factory reset option. Do you think I should try flashing a different stock vodafone rom?
Ok after wiping user data it now appears to be fine. I'm sorry for wasting your time.
it is recommended that you wipe everything after flashing in order to avoid boot loops or similar errors
glad it worked out for ya
Hi got a galaxy tab 10.1 ive got the Kang CM9 ICS rom on it, worked fine for about a month then suddenly just started crashing
did a hard reset device powers on charges starts to load boot image then freezes and crashes.
im able to launch recovery mode, tried doing factory reset and it wouldnt go through.
tried cache whipe was able to complete and the boot logo lasted longer then froze and crashed again.
not sure what happened and im thinking the only thing left to try is a full reflash
has anyone else experianced this?
thanks in advance

I've not experienced this because I haven't messed much with Kang CM9 ICS, but my first suggestion would to be restore from nandroid backup. If you're like me, in the past, you didn't do one or can't access it. So a full reflash or possibly going back to stock and then a reflash would be my suggestion.
If you decide to go back to stock first, or still need to after a reflash, the overcome ROM thread is a good place to lead you to 7500 & 7510 stock ROMs. You'll find a link to a guide outside xda there where towards the bottom part of the guide it says Restocking yer system.

thanks Benzoman was able to reflash the stock rom from rogers using ODIN after which it got stuck in a bootloop. then tried data wipe in recovery mode and it booted up like normal.
any idea what could have caused it?
Depends if you had HC 3.1 as a base firmware, more likely to crash, then another would be what version of ICS you used, because the kang is at milestone 4, the current stable march edition.
I was using my tab with aokp, and suddenly it rebooted. I thought to myself that that was wierd, and then, before loading the lockscreen, the tablet rebooted again. I knew I was in a bootloop, and luckily I had CWM access. I wiped cache then rebooted. I waited for one minute, lost my patience, rebooted in racovery, attempted to wipe data to reflash aokp, but CWM did not do that. I panicked a little bit. I attempted to wipe davlik cahe, it did not allow me. I reflashed aokp that way, and now I'm stuck on the boot animation. I don't know if restocking would help. Please help me. I am desperate I do not know what to do
Please help, I really need help right now not tomorrow
Flash back to stock with Odin if possible. Thats what I did on a friends tab that had this behavior. Good luck!

....then I'm confused. What's the problem now?
Questions go in the Q&A section
I rooted and flashed cm10.1 on my galaxy tab 2 7.0 and I messed it up so I restored from a backup and everything works fine again. But I hate stock touchwiz so I tried flashing cm10.1 again and just got an endless boot animation so I had to restore again, then I tried paranoid android and I got the endless boot animation, then I tried slim bean and I got the same thing again. Why is my tablet doing this? I really want to get a custom ROM and I can't, can someone please explain how to fix this, even if it involves a full factory reset etc. I am willing to do anything to get this to work.

Hi !
I am using a Samsung Ace S5830i since 2 years now with a custom ROM : Ace-i-Sure 12.0, all worked properly.
Yesterday I installed an app, I do not remember which one but I think it was a game, then my phone rebooted and looped on the boot animation.
I am used to unbrick my phone and change ROM so it did not scared me.
I tried to flash the stock ROM I used to flash everytime my phone has been bricked. Flashing went OK but my phone kept looping.
I tried to wipe data/factory reset but nothing changes.
I tried with another stock ROM found here and nothing changes either.
Do you know what might causes this problem ?

I tried flashing your firmware amolgosavi and followed exactly the steps of your tutorial brijeshep but nothing changes...
Can my phone be hard-bricked ?
I don't know why it happened, it was working well since a couple of months ?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3d7AS3Is4bk
and no it is not hard-bricked...
Hit thanks if I helped
I tried all the solutions you gave me but nothing works, I do not understand...
I might buy a new phone, but I ain't got much monyer, I can spend maybe 100€ or 200€ maximum
Does your phone enters into download mode and detected in odin?
What's the status during flashing ?
Then try the flashing methods on another pc.
