Can you go into Recovery? (Hold Volume Up + Home Button + Power Button)
If so then did u tried Wipe data/factory reset and clearing the cache? (This will delete all the data, be careful)

Hi guys, really need your help!!!
Been using Custom ROMs since Omnia HD. Loved the work of cookers, never had problems, ODIN is just so easy.
Four days ago, tried to flash I9100 from Lite'ning v5 to 6.1. So, as recommended I wiped cach with CWM, and then done proper FORMAT.
Once I pressed it, format started but didn't finish - the phone restarted, and continued to restart - stuck with boot "S" animation - so can't boot into system.
Then, tried as suggested to install VANILA latest firmware - tried it - didn't work. Keeps freezing in the middle of the process in ODIN - or - it says FAILED. Now, i can't use CWM - if I press Volume UP +HOME+POWER, i get "Mobile phone with yellow Triangle with PC signs" - left to the right.
Updating to the VANILA software doesn't work, so as Lite'ning V6, or any other versions of it. Without CWM, i can't boot from SD Card to other cooked roms, so please, any ideas will be MUCH APPRECIATED !!!

I have never tried this before myself, but I have seen some people recommend trying an emergency firmware recovery with kies. If someone else can chime in and correct me if I am wrong, please do so.
emergency firmware recovery with kies - will try now, and update status...
Solution doesn't work

This solution doesn't work. Because, all that I can do is to log into DOWNLOAD MODE, once I connect the phone via USB to PC with Kies ON, then the Kies doesn't recognise the phone in this mode, so there is opportunity or possibility to do an emergency firmware recovery - if anybody knows anything abt this - please comment ....

Put the phone in recovery mode with Volume UP +HOME+POWER (it won't be CWM because you tried to flash stock, it is samsung's recovery mode), "Mobile phone with yellow Triangle with PC signs" and try it.
Let me know how it goes.
just checking... when you flashed through odin, was kies turned off? Meaning not even in the background and it's (process) not present in task manager?
Because that's what happend to me when i tried to flash a kernel to my SGS2. odin failed too but good thing my phone wasn't bricked.
Anyways, I would recheck the custom rom you downloaded, it sounds like the file was incomplete, or damaged during download. Always check the MD5 checksum, or at least the filesize.
Some custom ROMs cannot rebuild a formatted userdata partition. Most custom kernels cannot do that, so doing a factory reset (wipe userdata partition, format data partition, etc) is not recommended.
FIX:
Boot into Clockwork Recovery
Format cache, format system, format boot, format userdata partitions
Boot into Download Mode
Use ODIN to flash to Stock ROM
Boot into Stock ROM
Flash Custom ROM (Lite'ning), DO NOT FORMAT USERDATA and DO NOT FACTORY RESET!!
Boot into Lite'ning
CM7 using codeworkx kernel (CM7 kernel), is the only custom rom that does not have a rebuild userdata partition problem.
for my i9100 i solved this problem
i have the same issue and i solved with my i9100:

Hello,
I've been having a nightmare with my Galaxy S2 GT-I9100. The phone had been giving me grief for a few months, the occasional freeze which would be fixed by a battery pull, ever since upgrading to an official ICS rom. Unfortunately I can't remember the exact ROM.
A week ago the phone froze, I pulled the battery and hit a bootloop when I tried to restart. I booted into recovery mode and attempted to wipe data. The phone attempted to wipe the data but froze. I left it for a couple of hours with no progress so I pulled the battery. The phone is now still in the same bootloop but cannot enter recovery mode. It can however enter download mode through both the 3 button technique and using a USB jig. My PC only recognises the phone in download mode and fortunately ODIN also recognises the phone. I have tried flashing various stock firmware and kernels and each time ODIN claims the flash was successful, reboots the phone and hits the same bootloop as before. I have also tried flashing CWM recovery to try and boot into that recovery mode but again this is successful but seems to make no difference.
Any help would be much appreciated,
Thanks for your time.

Hmm ... for bootloop issues, this is the correct guide => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1108499
But this requires recovery mode to work.
And you really pressed Volume UP + Home + Power keys, and hold them for about 15 seconds/until recovery menu appears - regardless of any other boot logo or animation which might be displayed inbetween?!

Definitely. Booting with Volume UP + Home + Power keys, I am greeted with my usual bootloop Samsung Galaxy SII GT-I9100 boot screen, after around 10 seconds the screen goes black and then the bootloop screen comes back on.
Any other suggestions?
Same problem
Hi,
I have the same problem. I would be interested in a solution for this as well. I've already tried reflashing the ROM, kernel and bootloader, together with repartitioning. Still can't get into recovery mode.
Cheers,
Tudor

Hi,
What I finally managed to do is connect to ADB and do a wipe from there. Connecting to ADB in download mode sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, depends on how lucky you are. Try it a couple of times. Afterwards I was able to re-flash and it started. For me, the problem was also a bit deeper; my USB port was shortcircuiting or something. I just took a toothpick and pushed the USB pin a bit (found the idea online) and haven't had any problems since then.
Cheers,
Tudor
Hi everyone.
I have a i9300 and it is stuck in rebooting.
Power key is ok.
I can get it to download mode or recovery mode.
I can wipe cache and partition but nothing change, it keeps rebooting.
I cant use odin because odin didn't see the phone,
I think USB debugging wasn't on. But I cant find a way to open it without turning on.
I am looking for possibilities and solution for 2 days and I cant find any. Please help me.
bootloop
It seems you are stuck in a boot loop. Try clearing the cache & perform a full factory wipe. Then reboot your device.
Hope that helps.

I both try 4.1.2 (with odin) and 4.3 (with octopus) but it keeps rebooting.
I also use octopus box to flash and repair efs.

If you've cleared the partition structure then you've turned a possible soft brick into a hard brick, you'll need a new motherboard now.
Try flashing the rescue firmware, from the thread in general, but I wouldn't hold out any hope.

same problem but worse please help
HI guys i have exactly the same problem but my bootloop was caused by installing recovery through the cwm app and then rebooting to recovery through the app. i rebooted to recovery with an app before and it caused this aswell ...however back then my volume down button was working. i fixed it last time by going into download mode and flashing philz recovery however i cant enter download mode or recovery or boot into system.
PS: my phone doesnt boot into recovery it comes up with the samsung galaxy s3 gt 19300 logo then it comes up with the cwm recovery icon in the middle of my screen and 'clockwordmod recovery v6.0.6.4' at the bottom of the screen then restarts itself.
i dont know what to try i have looked around, didnt want to create a new thread just wanted to find out if anyone has any idea of what i can do except for buying a new volume down button thats my last resort apprently its £35 to fix
easy way to fill up you thanks meter guys as any sort of input and advice is extremely appreciated.
alphadavid99 you fried your lcd when you flashed cwm made for note in the other thread.
Hi i have the issue... I am able to get in Recovery and Download Mode.
While in recovery i had formatted the whole internal memory and tried flashing about three AOSP ROMs (Formatting each time before Flashing) but the only result was the endless boot up screen (not boot loop).
Then i tried flashing a sammy ROM and it worked...
Could someone tell me why am I able to flash Sammy ROM but not AOSP (such as ARCHIDROID & SLIMBEAN).
My Model is GT-i9300
Current Modem - XXUGMK6
Current ROM - S4 Revolution ROM (TM)
Thanks in advance for your time if someone has any suggestions
Was working with Partition on CWM 6.0.47, after Reboot the phone goes dead after Showing Samsung and Yellow Triangle. Had JASP ROM installed for a month without problems. Now cant even go to recovery using Vol Up + Home + Power as it does vibrate for boot, shows Samsung screen and goes blank without opening the recovery menu..
Any pointers to get it to work again will be appriciated
thanks

never ever mess or touch the partition table without knowing anything and never you should rebbot in cwm recovery as it may lead to boot loop or even hard brick your device
may be going in download mode and flashing cwm again will help..and tick the autoreboot option this time..if this does not help then try flashing rom using odin.. .tar.md5 or .tar file are used for odin flashing.. get it and flash ..
If Cwm flashing fails, re flash ROM problem solved.
Hello! I rooted my Coolpad E560, a.k.a. Coolpad or Sky Mini and everything was fine until I decided to unroot it. It immediately restarted and will not boot ever since (stuck at logo). I opened recovery mode and selected wipe data/factory reset but it didn't solve the problem, neither did wipe cache. Then I selected reboot to bootloader. "Download and Install the package? Press volume up to agree or volume down to cancel". I press volume up and then it's stuck on "Information Do not disconnect the data cable". In the end I tried to flash stock rom. The only firmware I found was (phone name).CPB and it seems like the only flashing tool that can use .CPB is YGDP. But the flashing process doesn't even begin, it gets stuck on Entering download mode... I unsuccessfully tried to enter download mode on my phone. It doesn't have removable battery, some key combinations I tried didn't work. Now I don't know what to do. Any help will be appreciated.
