Hi there,
i try to get my Sensation XL running again since two days now...but it seems like i bricked my HTC Sensation XL by accidentely formatting the whole system from recovery screen... I can not mount /System or /sdcard anymore, to try pushing a Custom firmware on it etc.
Even in Windows Explorer my Phone doesn't show up anymore. I am new to Android, so please bear with me...
Here are the facts:

The only menues i can access is fastboot and recovery. No chance to get in the System, as i accidentely formatted it completely...
I hope there's somebody out there to help me, i am stuck here after spending hours of searching and trying... Really don't know what to do now
Thanks in advance,
ColonelJam

I was in the process of rooting the phone.... the bootloader unlock process was simple enough but when i download the Hasoon2000 tool kit things started getting more complicated i flashed the recovery(TWRP 2.1.0) and pressed the permanent root option.
after it did its thing i could not find the SuperSU.zip file anywhere to flash it so i rebooted the phone and after going around for hours through forums i found some people saying to do a full wipe and that should fix the issue.
so i did but i think it deleted all my stock files from factory so now my phone is stuck at the HTC white screen when booting up and no matter what i try doing it isnt flashing anything to try and get it to boot up fully.....
i am not all that knowledgeable on fixing these issues if possible i would appreciate any help.
thanks

If you did a Full wipe and deleted the system, then yes, your device won't boot. What happens when you try to flash something? (Do you get an error, etc.) If no progress is made there, boot into fastboot and run your device's RUU.
Hi,
i seriously need your help. im really new the this android world and dont really understand the technical language.
Nevermind, i recently bought a second hand unlocked evo 3d from a guy and it was already rooted with cool genesis 1.0 on it.
but since yesterday, the mobile keeps on restarting by itself on the boot screen.
Please help me because it kind of cost me a fortune and dont want to see all that money wasted.
Here are some details i could find out.
i can get access to the HBOOT only.. and if possible can you give me a step by step solution please.

Hi XDA-Developers, i know that my type of problem has been solved many times on the forum, but each situation is different... last night i left my phone without charge the battery died, so i charged it a little bit, then tried to start it after that, and it loads but gets stuck on the HTC boot white screen, I can access to the bootloader, but that didn't help me much, my phone is rooted with S-ON and running a similar costume ROM to the original HTC, i have been using this rom for a while now, and have Titanium Backup, and SMS back up softwares, but i ddn't back up anything in months, is there anyway i can back-up all of it before i do anything? (I tried before and Nanodroid back-up doesn't really backup apps and texts) can someone tell me what to do to make it work without loosing anything? my phone details are:

one more thing, when i made the nanodroid back-up now, it should always name folder name by date and the date was 1970-01-01 (very weird)
Thanks for your help
Can you get in to recovery? Hold down volume down and power, wipe cache and dalvik then reboot... If you can make a backup in twrp, do it and try to flash meanbean it has a s-on kernel installer then with titanium you can extract anything from a backup, Good Luck!

Hi
I have a rooted HTC one and I am unable to download and install any upgrades my carries sends out.. I just get a message each time saying the installer was corrupted, as a result im thinking of going back stock and unrooting.
My question is how to do this.
I am reasonable computer literate but have little experience with phone modding.
at present when I boot the phone holding power and the vol down..
this is the info I get.

use revone
Try revone, it might help.
I used it to lock my rooted one to get the Google Drive 25G free storage.

Have you tried to enter in recovery mode? From what I can see the phone has an unlocked bootloader. This probably means that the phone is rooted and has a custom recovery installed. Try entering in recovery mode and let me know what will come out and maybe we can do a factory reset.

Thanks for the advice @denny.hell , and yea at 1st this is what I tried to do but no luck, will not let me do any factory reset, and no recovery mode, any other recommendations? I am thinking of installing the original ROM from HTC website via micro SD card, but don't know if it will let me do it because the phone its lock with pattern code

If you can't get in recovery mode it probably means that the current recovery is not flashed properly. Try loking for a tutorial on this site that will help you flash the newest recovery available. If you manage to get a recovery up and running it should be a piece of cake performing a factory reset Let me know if you are having any more troubles.
