[Q] P765 Baseband Related. - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Okay so I unlocked my bootloader way back, I flashed the v20C Europe KDZ, and installed CM10.1 everything is working as it should
Right now am on Baseband: LGP760AT-00-V20C-EUR-XXX-MAR-25-2013 and I have a P765
1. Is it absolutely necessary to flash back the Indian v20A baseband? Does it affect the performance or battery life?
(Signal is good but it does lose a bar or two sometimes, which didn't happen before)
2.Will Clockwork Recovery get removed if I flash a KDZ?
3. And even if I decide to flash the baseband I would have to, first restore the V20A CWM backup and then put it in LG mode and offline flash v20A and then flash CM10.1 right?
I know it's a stupid question, but please help me out, I ain't a noob, just wanted to clear this doubt.
Thanks in advance

1. It's not necessary but you should flash your kdz back to restore your original baseband. If all signal, 2G/3G works, you don't need to flash your kdz back.
2. Flash kdz remove CWM from your phone. All you need to do is fastboot your phone and reinstall it.
3. Not sure about this. Try to turn on your phone in CM and flash using DIAG mode. If it not work boot your phone to S/W update mode and try to flash again in emergency mode. If all doesn't work just flash a stock based custom rom to get back LG software mode.

Thanks man.

Optimus one can't boot

Hi. I have a big problem with my O1. It can't boot-only bootloops. I can't do hard reset-it shows fastboot mode start.
That happened after i flashed V20G (2.3.3 GB STOCK) via KDZ Flasher. Any solutions?!
flash a recovery .img through fastboot (search in general thread about how to do it)
then clean up everything (except sd card) and install any rom as usual...

Agree with shubamjain001....
Flash a new recovery....via SDK... or u can also flash it again via kdz to v10e firmware.. which never bricks ur phone ,as v20 roms usually do...
Go to the emergency mode.. n try to flash v10e..
if ur phone is not detected in kdz.. there is a key combination that allows ur phone to detect ...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1227745... make sure ur modem is disabled n select emergency instead of diag. In kdz....
Or u may use alternate solutions as per the above mentioned thread...

a) OTA update doesn't work with CWM. That's the reason you get stuck at first place.
b) What do you mean by "flash another rom also and reboot again back to CWM". Did you offline flash KDZ file, factory reset and it still go back to CWM? That is impossible as offline flash KDZ will definitely destroy CWM.
c) Be patient. People come here to help, but it take time.

Flashing other rom means i have few roms on ext sd. slimbean and cm . after flashing when i reboot it comes back to CWM .
I am not able to do offline KDZ flash as it is not able to detect phone.
Trying with LG mobile support tool now.
Had the same thing. Look up LG Mobile support tool. It will update your phone to the latest software version. Of course you will lose all data & root.
Finally got it working via lg mobile support tool.
Just out of curiosity what might have happened that system was not going beyond CWM.
Also what if i had the latest version of JB, still lg mobile support tool would have worked ??

twrp by Lelus for your model number.
You can use nandroid manger to install it or use that zip I made to flash it with cwm. If you use my zip rename twrp.img to 3-recovery.img

[GUIDE] How to back out of KitKat to Jelly Bean? | Downgrade to JB LG G2

Many of you will have happened to them what to me, upgraded to VDF KitKat and then realized that root could not be and without root cannot modify anything.
You tried to Flash a ROM JB format KDZ and found out that you can't.
Behold the solution!!
Back to Jelly Bean in a LG G2
It is a bit laborious but simple
1.- Will have to follow the tutorial Manual LGFlashtool, here one is Spanish with pictures and everything, here hyelton LG G2 Stock Firmware (Go Back to Stock)
2.- Download the ROM TOT JB for your phone model: http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2
3.- Turn on the phone in mode Downloader, (Vol+ & USB to PC)
4.- Connect the phone to the USB port and start the downgrade
5.- When finished it will skip this message on the phone:
"Enter the PIN/password to decrypt"
[_____________________]
NOTE
There I was wrong, and I didn't know that, but I think that it must be the password for your Gmail account
As I have said, I'm wrong, because I turned off the phone, then I had to activate the keyboard from the status bar, enter Hidden Menu (in my case I have a D802 - 3845#*802#) and do a Factory Reset.
I'm not sure if it will erase everything by typing the correct code, including the SD, but when in doubt and always before flashing I recommend BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP...
Now you can already root install modified Recovery and install KK rooted from Recovery
Good lucky
Doesn't work for D805, have the ToT but don't have the DLL for D805
Ps: tried to extract DLL from KDZ file but i receive:
CrossDL [D802] to [D805] error in LG Flash Tools
ioroot25 can root stock kitkat and you can get twrp recovery with autorec

Hello cmanju88, this is the method I use to move from KK to JB, the ROM KDZ the LG Server Disclaimer, the TOT from the link I put above.
To Flash ROM version will vary depending on the phone model, for example
G2 - D80x
V10x = JB
V20x = KK

[Q] How to reinstall Stock ROM on LG Optimus p765?

I have an Optimus L9, p765. I am currently running CM 10.2 (the one made for p760).
I want to reinstall the stock ROM. How can I do that? Is there a simple way to flash it like I flashed the CM zip file?
[By stock ROM I mean the official JB rom by LG. I have its kdz file with me.]
Thanks in advance!

If you want to go back to true stock, like when you purchase the phone then you will have to flash the kdz to the phone. Otherwise the only other option is to just flash a stock nandroid backup to the phone, but it will still have a custom recovery and root.

Hello Aravind,
What IS a Nandroid? It is a full backup of the partitions on your device’s NAND flash (NAND actually stands for NOT AND, which in simple terms means an electronic gate). Basically a backup of your phones hard drive if you will... The Nandroid backup is a snapshot of your device (it means everything on your phone – your apps, data, your current ROM and even the kernel is backed up) at the time you do the back up. If you restore the backup, it changes your phone BACK to that state. You will need clockworkmod (CWM). So make sure prior to this you have CWM on your device. (The above explanation is given by VECTUS)
Here is the link to Nandroid Backups Thread for L9. Download and extract Nandroid Backup of Stock Rom V20A Bhaarat (India) uploaded by me for our Indian L9 P765 to cwm backup folder and reboot to recovery restore this backup.
If you are having trouble in restoring it, then you can message me on my FB ID for an instant reply :good:

Revert to Stock Rom using TWRP?

So I have a Galaxy S3 i747(at&t) rooted and with an unlocked bootloader. Currently running Cyanogenmod with TWRP recovery.
I'm trying to downgrade back to Touchwiz for the purposes of using an unlock code that AT&T provided me with (apparently it doesn't work with AOSP roms). Any chance I could safely use TWRP to flash the stock rom, and then use TWRP to flash Cyanogenmod back right after?
I've read from here and there that flashing the stock room with an unlocked bootloader and/or flashing the stock room NOT using Odin could brick the phone, etc etc.
Sorry if this question has been answered quite a few times, I've seen quite a few different answers regarding this floating around.
Cheers
You must flash stock ROM via Odin
After root again and flash custom recovery

Guess there is no way to NOT use Odin :/
Do I have to relock the bootloader/unroot the phone before I flash with Odin? Also, will it put the phone back to Stock Recovery or can I keep TWRP?
And one last thing before I go through with this...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2388065
Is this^ a possible way to go back to stock without going through Odin and losing everything? (Remember, I'm just trying to get to a TW based rom so I can use the unlock code). And if so, can I just flash that rom with TWRP?
I dont think that would be possible. ...u have to use odin
Try and backup your data before u do ..if it helps
Your phone may end up in bootloop if u try with twrp

Via TWRP you are able to flash backup of stock ROM. If you have it
