It means its customized for nordic region countries. And no its not pre-rooted.If you are not from a Nordic country then soul purpose of flashing nordic fw is to get updates as soon as its out
That something lacks in Nordic region firmwares...

Stock JB ROM?!?!?
What?!?!?
lol!!
JB ROMs need custom kernels which can only be flashed on an unlocked bootloader.
So, you need to unlock it first.
Being on an locked bootloader isn't a good excuse though.
First unlock your BL, and then have fun with your device!!
Until then you'll have to be at peace with the ROMs supporting a locked bootloader.
Don't forget to hit the thanks button!
say no to Drugs and ICS!

if u have made a backup of your phone before flashing custom kernel or rom than just simply do a restore via cwm...or if dont have any back up than dwnl the stock ics frimware and kernel and flash them using flashtools..
If u dont have any problem then just Relock bootloader . And use SUS for stock ...
Then unlock BT again ...

No he doesn't have to relock bootloader..coz he doesn't need SUS
Sorry for troubling you guys, i already done it, the reason i want to flash back .587 firmware is because i installed a rom which is based on .587 firmware but i installed that rom in .431 firmware and because of that there is some bugs. So, i want to flash back the stock .587 firmware and reinstall that rom again. but i appreciate it.

[Q] [U] Can't upgrade to ICS

First time I upgraded to ICS was via PC Companion, but i didn't like it so I flashed a ST25i GB ftf on my ST25a (excluded baseband)..
Now i want to flash a ICS ftf to root+CWM and try GB-Rocks rom, but Flashtool (last version) don't recognize it!
Also PC Companion says I have the latest firmware, so I can't update.. Repair option works, but when trying to flash it stops..
What should I do?
---------- EDIT ----------
LOCKED BOOTLOADER
Official ICS from PC Companion: 6.1.1.B.1.10
GB flashed via Flashtool: Xperia U (ST25i)_2.3.7 Build 6.0.B.3.184_GENERIC_WORLD
ICS that I'm trying to flash now: ST25i_1254-3522_ 6.1.1.B.1.10 GENERIC - user_Sony.ftf

If you're locked, then you must never flash GB Rocks. Because that ROM never really works well with Locked and WiFi will probably never works.

[Q] Can I flash this ROM safely?

I was wondering if I could flash SlimCM linaro Rom on my Xperia U
I will flash it on Stock .100 ICS, locked bootloader. Is it okay to flash the locked bootloader version that is on the thread through recovery? Wil it be safe?
Thank you!

No it won't. But you can try with atis patch for locked bootloader. Search it. And also delete boot.img or kernel.elf inside the ROM zip.
