I am currently running SlimBean 4.3 (Sabermod) and Dorimanx v9.39 kernel. I have noticed that my mobile data drops when i call and it turns back on when I hang up. Is anyone noticing this? Is this a rom issue or could it be a setting issue. I appreciate your help!
Yeah, this happens on all builds based on cm10.2. I think it will eventually get fixed...

Hi everyone,
I have been using the F1 Galaxy nexus rom on my Galaxy s2 and have had a problem with it freezing on me a couple of times.
Today I finished making a Skype call and the phone froze as I tried to pull down the notification bar. It just sort of hung halfway down. After that it pretty much froze up apart from the fact that I was able to power off using the power button.
I am wondering if I have the right Clockworkmod recovery on my phone. I installed recently CF-Root XX_XEO-LPQ v5.4 as previously I tried out the official samsung Ics ROM XX_LPQ.
After this I flashed the nexus f1 rom using the same version of clockworkmod.
Can anyone advise me if this is the correct one to use to flash the nexus f1 rom or is there another version that is more compatible with this rom. I have read that you need the correct kernel to match your phone's firmware and that certain kernels don't work with certain roms.
Please excuse my general ignorance. I have tried searching for an answer on the forum but couldn't find what I was looking for
I did do a full wipe and factory reset before flashing the rom.

Have now siyah kernel installed. Did a full wipe with ultimate kernel cleaner before flashing new kernel. Still getting the occasional freeze although 90 percent of the time it runs just fine.
Shame because I really like this from and want to stick with it.
Was wondering if anyone else has experienced these freeze ups?

no specific app or action related to it

Having weird problems that others don't, do what other have done and you don't......
Full wipe, don't restore using titanium, keep it as is for a while that is no kernel changing and see how it works.
Hi all,
I have a galaxy s2 I9100 running siyah v3.3 and the latest release of CM9.
When I turn the phone off (fully off, not just sleep) and I try to charge my phone. It just freezes at the picture of the little grey circle spinning round, and won't charge. It will charge fine if I turn the phone on. Or if I use the CF- root kernel. But it won't work with siyah. I tried re flashing the resurrection cm9 thru odin, and did a full wipe of the usb storage and internal storage. I wiped all the caches. I did everything I could think of. But nothing has worked.
Can someone please tell me if this is a common problem? Or is the any way I can fix it?.
Is the a hardware problem with my phone?.
I really need to be able to charge my phone well turned off. Because otherwise if my phone completely runs out of battery, my phone will be as good as bricked, as I will have no way to charge my phone.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help
Cheers Corey

Are you on latest cm9?
AFAIK it was fixed recently in cm9 and gokhan might have not megred it in his kernel hence offline charging is not working on siyah but working on stock cm9 kernel
I am on 20120605 at the moment, but I will be upgrading to the latest tomorrow. I have been having this problem for quite a while now. I was just wondering if other people are experienced the same thing?

He said he will work on stability so most probably fix it but now he will focus on SGS3
Exactly the same problem here. The explanation above makes sense that something change in cm9 and the change is not reflected in siyah. Really hope it gets fixed.
Same here, does not charge GT-9100M and Syiah 3.3.2, when battery drained and off.
Charges on another GT-9100 and Syiah 3.3.2 though...
Hope it gets fixed...love Syiah kernel...

Guys two days ago I got s2 with Samsung exyonus cpu . That's great!
But I had random black screen to get arid of it I had to reboot.
Happened once with original ROM I think after a call...and now happened just out of nowhere with custom 4.1.1 ROM from xda...
Ideas?

I think for now most, if not all 4.1.1 rom available for S2 are not stable yet. So either go back to earlier version or get use to it.
I did found on google some ppl had it on stock as I had too... any ideas?

Ever since I installed 4.1.2 XXELLA, I have been having issues with my wifi. It never connects to a wifi access point and I have to keep turning wifi on and off to make it work, and sometimes once I turn off my wifi it reboots my phone. If anyone has a solution I would be most appreciative. If I cant figure this out I am going back to ICS.

Its not a JB problem .

Hi guys,
Having some problems using Bluetooth on my sgs3. When I flick the switch it immediately switches back off again.
Here's the logcat from the point that I try to enable BT to the point where it stops complaining:

Can anyone help me out with this? I have searched around for about 30 mins.

Sorry, first post was a little sparse.
I am using Xylon v4.2-2.7.3.
Android version 4.2.2, kernel 3.0.6.4-CM.

Take a nandroid backup then wipe data via recovery. Test bluetooth. This either rules out or identifies the cause being the rom. If it works (and its not the rom / kernel) then its your data.
This is definitely the best first course of action imo. Cuts the field down the middle and narrows it by half

Thanks for taking the time to respond.
I wiped the data area and no dice, so I'm flashing the latest PA to check if it's a problem with the ROM.
EDIT --
Flashed PA and Bluetooth now works with no problems. Then just for posterity I went back and flashed a clean copy of Xylon and it had the problem right from the start.
It's a shame, I really liked Xylon. But looks like I'll be using PA from now on.
Thanks for the help everyone.
At least you've identified it. Paranoid android is good though. My current favourite
