I have a Galaxy Mega and i'm having problems with 3g connection.
If a connect my 3g as wcdma my connection is slowly
When I made change to automatic mode the connection is so fast.
The problem here is...
When i disconnect the 3g and after connect again the connection is slow like in wcdma only and i have to change to wcdma only and wait and back to automatic again.
PLEASE... Do you have any idea to solve this?

I am having problem with my internet (data) connection on my phone.
What's happening is that i start using the internet connection with no problems then at one point i lose data connection - all other serviced work well - sms / calls.
In order to get my data connection back i either have to restart phone or else go to flight mode and off flight mode again.
Is anyone experiencing a similar problem?

similar issue here.
i can only conncet to Edge buy setting the network mode to GSM only
using GSM/WCDMA auto results constant switching between H+ and 3g and then the device enters flight mode.
Any idea!!!!!!!!

In my area I find that I keep jumping from HSDPA to Edge and back constantly, which breaks my data connection briefly. It's very annoying.
I found that changing the setting to WCDMA only fixed this, and did not result in loss of data connection - it just kept me where I needed to be.
Only problem is at my house, suddenly I could not connect to my wireless internet no matter what I tried. I could connect to the neighbors slower open internet connection, but not my own. Tried everything. When I set it back to Auto mode, I could connect again with ease.
Any suggestions for a way to be WCDMA only and still connect to my wireless? I don't understand networking well enough to help myself.
My tab is HCL ME U2.Android 4.0.4.Now it is not sim supported.I have to connect to internet via dongle.Whenever I connect the dongle I find the option Use 2g networks only under the mobile networks setting.But can't check it.It automatically unticks.So how can I use 2g network.It drains my battery a lot.And 3g is costly in India.My tab is rooted. Anything to tweak the build.prop to get 2g networks option??Please help :crying::crying::crying:
Whenever I tried to on my mobile data in 2G mode in certain areas it never opens or took too long to start but it's fine again in 3G mode. Is this network related issue or Software problem? Your help will be highly appreciated.
Should be a network problem…… never heard that 2g module can be broken when 3g is still working……
My phone (Lyf Water 10) turn off automatically whenever I switch on 4G data connection. When 3G or 2G or wifi are ON, it does not switch off. I don't know why this is happening. If battery is poor, then why doesn't phone switch off on 3G, 2G or even wifi? If anyone can help that would be great.
