Can Some One Test Microsoft Exchange Mail - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

Can some one please confirm if they can successfully logging to their work email using Microsoft Exchange Mail after the new OTA update to 4.3 I'm having issue's now on 4.3 I never had issues before on 4.1 here's the error that I'm getting.

I didn't update via the over the air but I am running a 4.3 Rom and using exchange. I haven't had any issues with it. And I didn't have to do anything special to get it to work. I'd run a nandroid backup and then factory reset and try setting it up again. And if it still doesn't work I'd try the ruu from htc.

I always use Microsoft Exchange Mail for my work email and it is still working ok after the update. I updated via over the air. Are you using manual or automatic settings? In my case I always have to input the settings manually (before and after the update) every time I need to setup my account again. The auto discovery feature for the settings never work for me. I guess it is because of the way my work email server is configured.

Mine works fine. We use Exchange 2010

Just found the fix, what happened was you have a limited of 10 device that can be connected to Microsoft Exchange I had to delete old devices that I wasn't using anymore. And I was able to loggin.

Yahoo Mail

Anyone having Yahoo mail issues?
It won't sync and tells me login failed. This also happens on the website via my phone.
It's not the password because I changed it and its still happening.
Most likely a security issue?

I just tested it on my phone and everything seems to be working fine. A test email arrived immediately to my device. Hope this helps...

Had the same problem over the last few days. Wiping the data with Titanium Backup and re-entering my account info fixed it. Thanks!

HTC Mail app glitch.

I don't know WTH happened. opened it & entered my Yahoo info. It came up but it wasn't current. So I deleted the account & tried to re-enter it. But it wont let me. I just get a flag saying 503 80302: You have already added this email acct. Yet I can't log into it.
Is this an HTC ap? Where can I find it or get info on it? It doesn't seem to be in the Market.
Thanks
Go into applications and clear the mail cashe, and try it again.

The stock mail app is horrible for Yahoo mail. Does anybody know of a better one

Both Clear Cache and Clear Data are greyed out. I'd like to try uninstalling & reinstalling. But I don't know where to find it and there is no uninstall option anyway as it's crapware. I've searched the Market for Mail, HTC, HTC mail, Verizon... and on & on.
Any ideas?
The same thing happened to me when I was trying to add accounts. I just set up my Gmail under a POP/IMAP for a bit then delete the account and try to add it back on under Gmail (for example).
I will work again but it will just take a bit of time. It worked for me.

Yahoo has their own mail app.

Is the account showing up in Settings -> Accounts & Sync? Try removing it from there, then re-adding it.
There is not a lot you can do changing system apps until you get root. HTC Mail is a system app so you can't remove it. Once the phone is rooted you will be able to set up a new mail system. You can probably find something in the market. I just use the mail apps(Gmail,Hotmail, etc).

Also remember that I used Google Voice
on a Thunderbolt that was not activated on VZW so there was nothing they could do to me. I was texting and calling over wi-fi, not using vzw for anything. I have that system (Google Voice) and GrooVe IP set up on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 so I text and call over just Wi-Fi on my tab. So if I send 2000 text, they are free.

I'm using enhanced email myself. Was free on amazon at one point. Seems to work better than the yahoo app which would always fail at sending emails with attachments.
The same thing is happening to me, but with aol mail. I had to log in to my account using the browser, then delete my old mail from there. After doing that, now all my mail sync, old and me. Not sure how this helped but it did

Hotmail syncing issues on new ROMs

Several people have had issues getting Hotmail to sync correctly when set up as an alexchange account. Personally I have tried it using the Activesync option and setting everything manually as well as choosing the option specifically for Hotmail which has default settings built in with no luck on either.
This seems to be happening with some of the newer custom ROMs for others as well. I can get it to work on stock and Fresh 5.1.1 with no problems. I've tested it with MeanROM and ClassicJewel and can't get it to work.
Is it possible that a memory tweak or removed apk is preventing it from working correctly?
Edit: Hotmail is also apparently working okay on Charmeleon and Flex360 without issue.

I'm on Viper and I ended up dumping the built in email client for Hotmail and installed the Hotmail app in the Play Store. Haven't had any issues with receiving email with the Hotmail app.
I am stock and hotmail is being flaky, with both the hotmail option and the active sync option

I thought I was the only one with this issue. I don't have a custom ROM but I am rooted. My hotmail has only synced twice in the past 5 days.
Send from my sexy EVO LTE!
I would say maybe it is a Hotmail server issue but it works okay on some ROMs and with a 3rd party email app (Enhanced Email)

"Unfortunately, Google calendar sync has stopped."

This is the message I get every time I try to sync my phones calendar with my Google account calendar. No appointments are showing up on my phone. Everything else such as e-mail and contacts sync just fine. What am I missing here?

Try SystemSettings->Apps->Calendar->clear data
If doesn't help - flash to rooted stock and do factory reset.
And you failed to say if u r running Stock ROM or AOKP or CM9/10.
Sorry. Running a stock deodexed rooted Rom on VZW GSIII. I recall I got the same message before I rooted too.

Factory reset on rooted stock ROM did not fix the problem. Any other ideas?
I had a similar issue on my Xoom (and found this thread when I was posting a solution on the Xoom forum).
I wound up deleting my gmail account and setting it up as an enterprise account (called "Corporate" in settings). It now works flawlessly, so I hope it will work on your GSIII.
Here's the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1794190
Doesn't look llike that's an option on my gsiii.
Hard reset didn't work. I even flashed stock unrooted ROM via Odin. Now pretty much back to the phones original condition.
Still not syncing and getting the same message. So it's either the hardware (didnt think this could be a hardware problem) or a problem with my Google account (then why would email and contacts sync no problem?)
I'm stumped. Should I take the phone to the store?

HELP!! Email messages show as blank over ActiveSync.

Hello all.
I have recently moved from a Samsung Galaxy Note II to the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and now having issues with ActiveSync on my email. The account can connect fine, and lists the messages fine but when I open a message up, the BODY is blank. Sender, subject and all other data is fine. Just a blank body.
A bit of googling shows that this issue is floating around the Net for other folks with other mail servers (including Zimbra) and the problem is related to the "HTML body size", with some servers being able to set this and some clients misbehaving. AFAIK, there is no such setting in Kerio Connect which is the mail server I am running, and there is supposed to be a workaround built in to the current version for the seemingly misbehaving Sony Xperia Z altho no mention of the Z Ultra.
See here for some info:
http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-S-SL-acro-S/Can-t-read-Exchange-mail-body-after-6-0-a-3-73-update/td-p/155919/page/3
Well I cant seem to get any joy out of this at all. The "unsupported client" flag on Kerio has been turned both on and off to no avail. Right now I am having to ActiveSync my contacts and calendar and IMAP the mail, but that is horrible and folder management is inadequate that way (items sent from the phone are put into the phones 'sent' folder which is not the same as servers "sent items' folder so they never show in Outlook 2010 on my PC. IMAP just totally ruining everything. HAVE to activesync fully.
Anybody else got this with their mail server (which one?) and anyone know what to do about it? If dont get any ideas, then my plan would be to unlock the bootloader, install CWM and then flash in the AOSP email client to replace Sony one. Have downloaded quite a few clients from the PlayStore. Problems vary from being ugly enough to stop a clock, to not supporting ActiveSync at all or only over WebDAV. All useless in one way or another.
Anyone have any ideas?!
Thanks,
Asif
Kerio Connect: 8.1.3 build 1711 (running on Windows Server 2008 R2)
Client: Sony Xperia Z Ultra running Android 4.2.2, ROM 14.1.B.1.532
PS I have left a similar message on the kerio forum with no reponse.
I'd try an alternative client, recommend maildroid free to see if it works, never had any problems.

MailDroid doesnt support full proper ActiveSync but only offers WebDAV which is not the same thing.
Also on activesync email not shown as html

No worries pal. Thanks for trying.
newstar - what is your email server? MS Exchange, Kerio or something else?
Think i will end up unlocking bootloader to install CWM and then using AOSP email client (which is shame as Sony one rather nice; certainly nicer looking than Samsung one was although that did ActiveSync perfectly!)
try touchdown, i use it and its pretty decent

Thanks. I ended up unlocking the bootloader, flashing in CWM and then using it to install generic Android email.apk whcih performs ActiveSync perfectly. Much better than paying for an app to bypass Sony's poor implementation of the ActiveSync protocol.
Happy camper now!
