Hi guys
The problem is that when I flash any custom rom (CM, Paranoid Android, Jellybam, MIUI or any else but the stock one) I can't boot on this rom... Each time I turn on the phone, I'm stuck on LG logo and nothing happens...
Do you have any solutions...? Thanks
[EDIT] My phone model is P760
Did you wipe dalvik cache and factory reset? Make sure you have a nandroid before. Make sure bootloader is unlocked.

Hello
Same here - my P760 gets stuck on LG screen, but:
1. Only on CM10.2 roms - 10.1 loads just fine, AND
2. Only after 1st boot - i can start my phone just fine after initial flash (i'm using TWRP, but on CWM (not touch) it was the same), but if i do a reboot, it hangs.
If i do another wipe (cache & dalvik) it doesn't help.
I tried CM10.2 nightly and SlimBean from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2352107 for same results.
Also i tried installing CM10.1 and then installing CM10.2 on top of it, wiping only cache, still for same results.
CM10.1 works just fine.
Any ideas appreciated
EDIT: after factory reset from TWRP it also works, but it isn't a solution to do a factory after each reboot....
Try getting your cm 10.2 from same source as 10.1.

Does installing CM10.1 (2nd stable release) and then nightly 10.2 counts as this? If yes: same results, factory reset helps, but... :/
Different recovery

Same thing happened to me when the recovery wasn't flashed correctly. Try another version, another type (cwm/twrp/something else) and another flash method. Fastboot was the way to go for me.
Actually I just fix this problem, I flash a factory rom (kdz) then I root it again and flash CM 10.2. Now everything is working
Thank you for answers anyway

Hey guys, I'm on the Galaxy 10.1 Tab 7510. I flashed Paranoid Android 3.50 earlier today from another post on here and everything was fine if a little slow. I then found the A1 kernel on Here and flashed the one labeled "A1-p4-1.8.7-wifi-stock.zip". Being an idiot I forgot to make a backup before doing this and when I rebooted I noticed wifi wasn't working (couldn't turn it on) and any time I plug the tablet into my computer nothing shows up as a mounted device. Is there anything I can do? I've tried a wipe/factory reset and wiped both caches. I have no clue how to fix this since it's not like the thing has an SD card slot.
I don't think you should flash the stock version of the kernel. Make a full wipe, reflash ROM, then flash the cm version of A1 kernel.

Ok so I was able to use my Nexus 4 and download the A1 CM kernel and send it to my Galaxy via Bluetooth. Went back to clockwork recovery, did a factory reset, wiped both cache, installed the CM kernel and then it wanted to optimize the apps I had. It then shut down and now when I turn the tab back on it just shows the Samsung logo, then a black screen. Do I have any other options?
Wipe system, not just data, cache and dalvik. Then reflash the ROM you had.

Hey guys,
After using a CM9 rom for a long time I decided to try a cm10 nightly. I just flashed the rom in ClockworkMod and dont think I updated anything else such as boot loader. It boots, says "samsung galaxy 10.1, then I get the CM wheel rotating and it comes to a homescreen but says "Unfortunately, setup wizard has stopped" and I click "ok" and it just keeps coming up. I cant get to home screen or anything. I used to be savvy with flashing these diff roms but after I was on a stable CM Rom for so long I kind of forgot and didnt do it right.
Like I said my guess is I flashed a jelly bean rom onto a older kernel or boot loader, forgive me if I am using wrong terms here. I am sure it can be brought back but its been awhile since I did this stuff so any help is appreciated.
thanks in advance.
Craig
Did you make a full wipe i.e. system, data, cache, dalvik before flashing?
Sent from my GT-P7500 using Tapatalk HD
Boot to Download mode and Odin ICS 4.0.4 on the device first. That will give you the required bootloader. You can then root the device before you flash the JB. But you must do full wipes (format/factory reset, format system under Mounts/Storage, wipe dalvik under Advance) before the installation. For the installation, make sure your Recovery is the current one. I use CWM Recovery 6.0.3.2 especially if you wish to install CM 10.1 which is what I run. After the installation wipe cache and dalvik again before rebooting.

Hello,
Recently, I was having problems with my cache partition being corrupt as I could not install apps from the play store. To fix this, I flashed stock rom S5830i_XXLI1_ODDLI1_DDLI1. After flashing via odin, I got stuck in a bootloop and had to flash cyanogenmod RC 3 with the CM kernel after which the phone started working. Since then I have lost my IMEI number. I tried flashing S5830i_XXMC1_ODDLK1_DDMC1 but my phone is again stuck in bootloop? I think the kernel is the reason why I lost my IMEI, so I dont want to flash it again. Is there anyway I can get my phone to working conditions?
I have tried the Hex workshop method which hasn't yet worked for me.
In CM 7 Rom,IMEI bug is not solve. Search in xda you will get the information about how to restore IMEI or see CM7.2 Rom's thread and comments.

Had to do this twice to get back to stock with my IMEI. Thanks!
This is my first time trying to install this I have a Samsung galaxy s2 T989 And I'm pretty sure I've done it right. I factory wiped it, cleared the cache and the cleared the cache in advanced settings. It's been atlesst over 10min and its still on the blue circle just spinning around.
Can someone please help me?
When I installed cm10.2 for the first time mine done that. Best bet and worked for me is do a battery pull and reboot. If that don't push you past the spinning circle which I ran across you should reinstall the ROM again and it should boot up just fine. Hope this helps

You've bootlooped it. The T989 is a pain when flashing custom ROM's because the custom recovery's built in wipe doesn't quite work for it.
Keep this ZIP handy as you'll be needing to run it every single time you need to wipe data/cache and dalvik. Don't ever ever use any other means of wiping aside from this one until this issue is fixed. I've been doing this for a while and have flashed upwards of 20 ROM's on my T989 alone.
It's called Darkside Super Wipe.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1477955
So, just put that ZIP on your SD card, along with your custom ROM and appropriate Gapps. Flash Darkside first (always) then flash ROM then Gapps. Then reboot and problem solved!!
Good luck!! :highfive:
So after putting that in my sd card. Install that and gapps and cm10.2?

Yup, install Darkside Super Wipe first, then install the ROM zip then Gapps. Then reboot!
Should I factory reset and clear caches first or no?

Nope, just run the Darkside Super Wipe and it'll erase all /system, /data and /cache partitions. And like the thread says, it won't wipe your SD card or EMMC.
Just make sure you don't leave the recovery without flashing the ROM and Gapps
Also, you should get in the habit of making backups. You can make them from CWM or TWRP's custom recovery.
Titanium backup is an application on the Google Play store that you should look into as well my friend.

Very finicky phone for customs. On mine I can get no ROM to fully load other than the stock Koodo 4.04, and CM 10.0 I flashed the latest radio for JB, darkside super wipe, flash custom rom, flash gapps, wipe dalvik. The same process for every ROM i try... still no success, 10.2 stays at boot. Dirty Unicorns starts boot, goes through the "optimizing apps" stage gets to the "starting apps" and reboots, lather, rinse, repeat. I've tried a few others, AOKP and some others. Still only Koodo 4.04 and CM 10.0 will fully boot. Not even the stock T-mobile 4.03 will boot (came with phone). Going to give JMT a shot, it looks pretty
Hi. I tried to flash newest version of GApps (full modulare which I have never use before, allways the stock) and newest version of CyanogenMod 11 Nightly. I'm also using CWM Recovery 6.0.4.6 in my GT-I9300. Someone in CyanogenMod forums told me to wipe all data/factory, cache and dalvic cache to make CM's trebuchet, before flashing a new ROM and GApps.
I tried that and result was that I'm getting the ****ing "PHONE HAS STOPPED WORKING" - problem.. Huger problem is that I need this phone tommorow in work, and it ruins my day totally if I don't get it work by tommorow.
Because of Wipe ALL data / factory reset, I do not have even any backup file in my device. What to do to fix it!?

Can you boot into recovery? Have you got a external sd card?
If yes put another Rom on ext SD (if you have a SD card adapter for computer) boot into recovery and flash again!
If not can you get into download mode? If yes flash a stock Rom with Odin..

Thank you for helping. I flashed stock 4.3 Jelly Bean with Odin by using XDA's tutorial. Now I need to root my phone again to get CyanogenMod 11 and KitKat, but It's okay. Still don't know how to get CM11's Trebuchet work correctly. Problem is that if I flash PAGapps stock package, I get the phone work correctly, but Trebuchet disappears. If I flash full package of PAGapps, Trebuchet should work, but then this error happends and I need to flash stock rom with Odin.
What to try next?

If you are flashing custom roms you do not need to root, custom roms come already rooted...I'm not sure which gapps are compatible with cm11 but have you tried Banks gapps I use them on Fusion kitkat rom (if they are compatible)..
Obviously there is some app in the full gapps that is causing your problem. As for CM11 launcher can't you use another launcher?
