i have a bell phone KG2, which i am using on rogers network. I unlocked SG2 by following chainfire method. everything works, but the only problem i am experiencing is after rooting the phone, people cant hear me. everytime i make a call no one can hear me at all, not even on speaker. the only way they can hear me is if i use blue tooth. does anyone know how to solve this issue?
android version: 2.3.3
kernel ver: 2.6.35.7-I9100xxkg2-cl375027
any help would be great.
if someone can tell me how to go back to factory setting (unroot it) that would be great too.

I downloaded the non Verizon version of Skype and it doesn't let me use wifi at all. Is there a version of Skype that works with wifi on the Razr? Do I have to download the poorly rated Skype Mobile for Verizon to use wifi? Is it true that you can't uninstall the Verizon version of Skype?

Skype for Android works fine over Wifi for me. Avoid the Verizon version. It is my understanding that it makes Skype calls using the Verizon voice network and will therefore use your minutes. Skype for Verizon usually comes pre-installed on the system partition making it impossible to uninstall on non-rooted phones.
Any mention of video chat? On a sim free UK Razr here and skype from the market place doesn't doesn't have working video chat. It comes up with a message saying that its running on a non-certified device but that it should still work, and gives me the option to enable video calling.. but nada..

Hey there. Since the Razr just came out, give Skype time to update their Android app to work with it. Shouldn't be more than a couple weeks, but I'm almost positive that they will release an update soon.
I hope so.. only worry is that i'd read somewhere that video calling was borked on the Bionic and still hasn't been fixed..
Skype video calling is working with my Razr. I'm using the regular Skype version in the market. I did not download the Verizon version.
My gf's phone has been having some issues with google voice for awhile now. She's always wanted the stock incredible VVM back, but no one's ever been able to find it on other forums. If anyone has the stock VVM for the phone, I think she would like that better.
If not...
Her issue is that whenever someone calls her phone it always has different responses. Some people call and say the number is unavailable, others say it asks for her subscriber number. I've called three times now and i've had those two errors along with one that actually got through. The problem is that she isn't receiving all her calls, which anyone on this forum can attest that this is a MAJOR issue, especially while she hunts for jobs. If ANYONE can figure out a solution to this problem it would be awesome. I've searched the web for weeks trying to find a solution or even an alternate VVM, but I haven't had any luck.
I just need to figure out one of the following:
- how to get back stock Incredible VVM
- how to fix or permanently get rid of google voice
- find an alternative VVM that works decently and can get past this google voice issue.
Any help would be appreciated...

I recently bought a Photon for use in India. It was taken there and then factory reset with an Indian sim in it. Everything works great, but I keep getting a blue popup at the bottom saying 1 voicemail pending. I don't know why and I can't seem to get rid of it! Anyone have any ideas?

I have serious issues with receive sms.
I Have a Motorola Razr xt910, bougth in another country, so Motorola Brazil say "We Can't do Nothing"
I send the messages normaly, sometimes i receive sms when i turn my device off then turn on. (sometimes don't work)...
I have call my carrier and its all ok with my SIM-card. No issues. (it's true, cause when i put my sim in other device the sms comes instantly)
I've called motorola support and they said to turn of the "Cell broadcast" service in settings, but in my version (2.3.6) Don't have this option.
I Really don't know what can i do, because i don't have support from motorola and i've try all the things i thing are possible to solve.
I had ractory/wipe reset more than 1 time, and i try to flash with another version but the issues remain...
i would apreciate if Somebody can help me!
PS: Sorry for the very bad english...

You do have cell broadcast in 2.3.6
It's the last option under wireless & networks.

i have the same issue .... my phone is at the service centre... they are going to re-flash 2.3.6 to make sure there are no corrupt files... anyway ICS is gonna come in Q3 here in India since they are going to launch the RAZR V with ICS and only after that will the RAZR get ICS..
the issue still here after try five different ROMS...
suggestions?

Man, I have finally fixed this issue!
I am currently using ICS 4.0.4 (Vivo carrier). Claro carrier does not have this SMS issue, only Vivo and Tim (I have never tested with Oi carrier).
Just follow the steps below:
1. Open the message settings (default stock message).
2. Enable "Delivery Reports"
3. Disable "Auto-retrieve"
Boom! You're done!
Please tell me if that works!
