hi everyone!
would someone recommend me a stable JB rom for my L9 p768??
I don't like ICS and i'd like to have another rom.
slds
do you have an unlocked bootloader with either cwm recovery or twrp recovery installed?
For stability I'd recommend CM10.1, its jelly bean 4.2.2. Artit is the primary P768 developer, his ROMs are in his signature.
You do need to unlock your bootloader and install a custom recoveries.

Yes, it's compatible. You can flash adamz662 Rom and then flash my camera patch. I'm also working on AOSPA for p768. It's boot up but had some camera problem. But I got some hint about how to solve from adamz.

Hi there!
I am wanting to update my Samsung Galaxy GT-i9300 but am worried about the process because of having installed a custom kernel previously (would this muck up installing a new custom rom I wonder..)
Please find attached a screenshot of the settings and please tell me what I should do (if anything needs done) before I flash a new custom rom.
Cheers!
if you're worried about kernels, then just flash stock kernel then flash a custom rom on it.

kk, could you provide me with a suitable stock kernel (or links to one) which will be compatible with the rom I have installed?
any stock kernel that is for jb will be fine.

I am on android version 4.0.4 (so technically not JellyBean). and its safe to flash a stock kernel for JB despite being on that version before I flash a custom rom?
Sorry for asking, get confused easily..
you should be fine updating with a custom kernel (as all roms flash a kernel as well). Just make sure you factory reset when moving from ics to JB as you will most likely encounter problems if you don't.

I would suggest flashing ICS stock kernel first if you're worried. I thought you were already on jb.

Easy
Reflash the stock ics ROM
And flash any custom ROM you want
Enjoy

Hello, i need some help.
The kernel i have been trying to use is: X10_4.1X_CMX10_bootmanager_v13 + v_14 and alot more, but i can't come in to the recovery after changing kernel. but with the "Stock" kernel in flashtool i can get into recovery. cwm and the other, but then i can't install the rom i want, i need to install the kernel above before i can install the rom. Sry for my bad english, but i hope u understand.
bump since i edited.
Comeone guys, someone know why i cant get into cwm after changing kernel
The problem is you are trying to install kernels that is not supported by your ROM.
Have you unlocked your bootloader? Check it using S1Tool
I had the same problem with that kernel I couldn't get into recovery. Which rom are you trying to install JB? Or ICS? Try armin kernel for ics or jb and see that's what I used

There? And shall i flash both rom and kernel`? then after flash the kernel and rom i want? thx for the help dude.
Problem solved, thx guys.
I installed cm 10.1 over my stock rom via SS accidentally without having a backup... Now I`m running cm 10.1 on stock alot and slot 1, but only the slot one works (as supposed).
I had eclipse v4 ICS rom installed on stock, which i did via BMM, and now I`m not sure what to do.
Since the rom installed on slot 1 (cm 10.1) is working with no issues, I`m leaving it this way for a while, but I`d really like to clean up installations in future to install JB on stock with no slots, since I`d have more internal space available.
So the question is: What do I have to do to clean up my razr gsm and start over from a clean JB on stock slot (LATAM, isn`t released yet, right?).
And finally, should I face any issues if I install EU JB release?
Thanks in advance!
If you want to start fresh you have to go to stock recovery and full wipe, the flash your stock latam firmware of choice..

How do I know which is the latest Latam? Which is the difference between 6.5.1, 6.7.2 and 6.7.3? ICS, JB (4.1.2) and JB (4.2.2)?
Sorry for so many questions

i think the 6.7.2 one, because i flashed retail eu ics and the number is 6.7.2
Well, I`m trying 6.7.2-180_SLC-35_LATAM_SPYDERICSRETBRLA_ServiceCFC_fastboot.xml.zip... All I should do is restart phone on AP Fastboot, full wipe and flash it? (RSD?)
Btw, do I have to uninstall SS or delete rom slots?

We have just only two custom stock roms. Can someone of you devs make new custom rom based on latest official sw ?

Seems that I can no longer flash custom roms. I am currently stuck on 4.3 uk stock rom.
I noticed everytime I flash a stock rom my camera will get the "warning camera failed" and black screen. Godd this is so frustrating!
Has anyone have issues like this? I have downgraded to even 4.1.2 stock roms and I won't have the camera issue. But when I put on a custom rom. Bam! My camera isnt working anymore
This blows!

Need a XXUGMJ9 Stock Kernel
I may get this sorted if i install a custom rom and then flash a stock kernel back. Problem is i searched everywhere for this kernel on its own to flash with CWM or Odin.. Does anyone have this kernel?
NVM GOT IT SOLVED~
