[Q] Allview P5 Alldro Brick - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I just managed to birck my phone, an Allview P5 Alldro.I had previously rooted it and installed a custom Android 4.2.2 ROM.I wasn't happy with it's battery efficiency so i decided to go back to the official 4.0.4.All went good with a flashing tool but after the flash tool had the green circle that it was all done, the phone was dead.
Nothing works, cant make it normal start (power button), nor does recovery work (volume - and power).
Even tried plugging it in the PC and it won't get recognised, as in new hardware, in both Windows 7 x64 nor Ubuntu 13.10.Tried some Ubuntu tools that even checked the USB voltages and power that was sent through them and it didn't detect it.Nor does it do anything when plugged in the electric socket.
Just, a brick...
I read about a JIG tool used on Samsung smartphones, might it work on mine too?
The phone is just 3 months old.

[Q] I think I finally bricked my Vibrant [help]

I was trying the new CyanogenMod 7 on my Vibrant. I was trying to restore my old ROM through Nandroid since CM7's GPS isn't working yet. I'm guessing I should of flashed another kernel first, but now my phone won't get past the Vibrant screen. Won't even get into recovery.
Here is where it gets tricky. My phone isn't recognized by windows. I'm having the same problem as here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=777696. So I can't flash new firmware through Odin. I have the drivers installed on multiple computers and none of them will recognize my phone.
So no recovery and no Odin. What do I do?
This is odd. Have you re-installed the drivers? I can fix this for you if it comes to it with JTAG also btw so be sure to PM me if it comes down to it.
Pull battery..hold up/down volume button..plug it into usb cable while holding volume button down then insert battery
do you have installed the drivers for nexus s
cm7=nexus s
Thanks for the suggestions,
I have the drivers installed and the phone has been able to be recognized for a while. I haven't been able to mount my SD card for some time now.
I did the battery out, cable in, hold buttons and all that. I can get the phone in to download mode no problem, but that's as far as I get.
I haven't tried Nexus S drivers. I'm not sure it will work since computers haven't been recognizing my phone way before CM7, but I have nothing to lose at this point.

[Q] Goophone i5 (MTK6577) will not turn on after using Flashtools

Hello at all guys, I'm desperately trying to install a new recovery to install new rom, I've done maybe a disaster, the phone will not turn on anymore, when I connect it is not detected (with the usual beeping sound on your computer).
I found online a full backup of a MTK6577 (boot.img, preloads, logo, recovery, etc.) I put all these files and made the procedure of flash with the software flash tools, the operation is completed I came out the green circle all that went well, but the phone will not turn on anymore.
The only strange thing is that I can load it with the power supply, this is because I use a cable that makes you see when you are charge(see attached file),this when there is no charging source will turn off automatically.
I have buyed this phone by this store: ([email protected]@[email protected]/snapshot/[email protected]), I tried to apply for a refund, but they are gone (as usual)
I tried to click on the back button (reset), but there is no button on the inside.
I ask for your help desperately, if there is any possibility of recovery in some way, even opening the phone, otherwise they are thrown money.
Many thanks, i hope you help me.
up, please help me

Karbonn A9 plus phone hard bricked... PLZ HELP!

Hi XDA members!
An urgent help is needed to fix a hard brick problem with my smartphone model. I've searched for my model make in this forum and tried all the methods of recovery relating to Karbonn A9 plus/cherry flare but no success till now...
So, here's the detailed explanation of how my phone got hard bricked:
Originally my phone had a bootloop issue where it would start with the phone model logo and get stuck at the boot animation. It would never go into android. (where it would be detected as an adb device in windows). So, I rectified it via fastboot mode flashing of my rom using AIO flashing tool. Then I delved deeper into the forums here and found out android kitkat update for my phone model. (my current version being ICS 4.0.4). I got ambitious and went ahead with flashing android kitkat using CWM recovery (again, I made sure I flashed the correct version of cwm recovery for my model first before flashing the new rom). CWM got flashed successfully and replaced my default android recovery system and it worked too (although screen would flicker while tool operated). Everything was perfectly going on till now. I was feeling happy to finally run kitkat on my 4 year old phone. My current OS was booting normally, I could go into CWM recovery, fastboot mode as well.
Now, here's where I made a mistake probably! :
I UPDATED CWM RECOVERY TO V6 JUST BEFORE BEGINNING THE FLASHING PROCESS FOR ANDROID KITKAT FOR MY MODEL. Then while flashing, I first decided to test the backup and restore function of cwm recovery. I backed up and restored my current version using cwm. It backedup without issues. But while restoring, it introduced some errors. (yeah, I didin't know cwm reformated the wrong partition instead of the boot partition while restoring the boot image!!! )
Now, my cwm recovery is gone, fastboot mode is gone.... heck... even battery doesn't show up as charging. I tried to press vol up + power button but nothng happens. It doesn't give any vibration feedback after the press. Same for just power button press.
Is there any chance of recovery at this stage??
I know cwm f****d up my phone's boot partition. Also, I searched for solutions to this problem as well here and found the article "How to revive dead Karbonn A9+/CM Flare after JB update". Yes, I tried the Qualcomm HS-USB QD Loader 9008 driver and QPST.2.7.374 tool on 32 bit windows xp (as problems were reported on 64 bit and windows 7 for the above mentioned driver installations, I had to take further pain and install 32 bit windows xp on my pc's second hard disk just to succeed in installing drivers for unbricking my phone..... as I use windows 7..... talk about problem getting bad to worst.... ah!! ) I plug the phone with battery in it to my PC (after successful driver installations) but phone isn't detected in device manager....
I tried everything, I fully charged battery overnight.
Result?? .... my phone is still not showing anything on screen. It's dead. It's not even accepting to charge from the wall. Forget booting or going to recovery/fastboot mode.
I will never use cwm recovery again on any future smartphone of mine!!!! :crying::crying:
PLEASE HELP me with reviving my phone!!!
Or should I give up trying and just buy a new smartphone??
thanks in advance.

[Unbrick Help] BQ Aquaris X5

Hello there,
i need help with unbricking my Bq Aquaris X5 Cm Edition (codenname: paella).
I flashed Twrp, was not able to flash SU.zip. And flahsing LineageOs failed with "error7"
after i was unable to flash lineage and doing other stuff i had no system installed any more so i flashed cm unnofical gohan version with the flashall.bat.
And then i rebooted and had the mess. The phone does not want to turn on. Only thing that the phones give me as a "sign of life" is the red LED when i plug in the charging cable and give him power.
Im not able to get into fastboot or recovery mode. So my questions is: Is there ANY way to get that phone back to life?
Istn the normal way flahsing old bootloader and then original firmware?
But for that i need to get to fastboot mode which im not reaching.

I'm in the same situation with a BQ X5 plus, I think the only way is to get the phone to the BQ service center
Did you get the phone working again ?
Nope i handed it over to the support and got a New one because guarentee was still valid

yes you have to install qualcomm drivers and see in what mode the phone are.
9006, 900E or 9008
solved
I HAD the same problem with my BQ Aquaris X Pro.
Running the lineage OS 15.1, rooted with AddonSu installed.
This is how I was able to wake it up again.
1) I unplugged the phone from the USB loading cable
(don't know if this step is needed - the battery was definitely not totally empty, when this red flashing LED thing occurred. However, i don't think the phone charges when the LED red light flashes.).
2) I took the sim card out (don't know if this step is needed).
3) I pressed for about 2 [minute] power and volume (don't know if up or down) button together. And then it woke up again.
Maybe this is the special boot recovery mode option mentioned here?
What ever it is, it worked for me.

Soft Bricked Mediatek ZL10 Chinese Tablet

So I was searching downstairs one day and I came across a tablet that my brother apparently bricked trying to apply Clockwork mod to it or something he said. Now this wouldn't be so much an issue if he made a backup of the stock firmware. I'm working with a Mediatek ZL10 tablet board model ZL10-MB1.2 and its currently stuck in bootloop. I can get it to go to boot mode by holding volume up and home for a few seconds but it only gives me a few options. Recovery, fastboot, and normal. Can't seem to connect it to my pc either long enough to do anything with adb though at least my pc detects it for a split second.
If someone could provide a stock rom for a Mediatek ZL10 tablet board model ZL10-MB1.2 that would be great as I haven't had much luck finding a download for it any where. Not sure what I'll do afterwards really but its not like I can currently do anything without fixing this bootloop.
