Hello.
I have SE xperia neo. I tried to root it and now I have a problem. It looks like i have changed model number. It was MT15i and now it is MT11i. Side effects are: camera is red and flipped horizontally (there is screenshot in attachment) and my computer (PCCompanion) now thinks that I have SE xperia neo v.
I have tried flash custom kernel with flashtool but with no results.
I really need your help. Thanks ahead.

Flash stock ftf of MT15i again.. All will be fine

Zeuscluts, you are tell me that I have to make nandroid backup. I did some research and I that I have to make backup of current ROM, which is in this case wrong. I am not sure if that would be helpful, but maybe I am wrong. What do you say?
And vishal_android freak I have tried flashed MT15i_4.1.B.057.ftf couple of time now, but with no result. I will try to flash stock version of 2.3.4 and let you know the outcome.

Just install any neo custom Rom... Any how we need to flash neo v ftf for partition extension
Ok, I tried to flash MT15i_4.0.2.A.0.62 couple of time but every time with same effect; flashing starts but it gets stuck almost at the beginning. On the last attempt, I have received message
ERROR - 31 : A device attached to the system is not functioning.

Now, neo is in infinite loop. It tries to reboot but after the name, there is a sing showing exclamation mark and smartphone beneath. I think that I f***ed-up big time and that this is the end of neo.
Now I flashed MT15i_4.1.B.0.587 and now I can't start neo. Sony sing shows but that's it.
Have you uncheck the "no final vertification" checkbox? Because flashing Sony 2011 devices need to disable it(and I don't know why)

Yes I unchecked and it was the same. In attachment there is screenshot from flashtool. So do I have to check or uncheck something?

Hi,
I´ve just updated my NEO to ICS 4.0.4 and now the camera doesn´t work properly, everytime I try to make a photo I see everything in red and upside down! :silly: (both front and rear cams!) I flashed twice the phone see if that could solve the problem, but no improvement.
Any ideas?

You have wrong drivers. If you see everything in red, than you probably have Neo v version

thats correct.
loop4444: I know I have some experience with this "feature"
As I've found this thread I don't want to create a new one for my similar question. I've got an MT15i lying on my table, which has ICS Build 4.1.A.0.562 (MT11i - Version) installed with stock kernel, rooted and CWM via x-Parts. I did that because I've read it should work and after that I've got the 40 additional megabytes the Neo V has, which seemed quite genius. I did not update to 4.1.B.0.587 because the owner (my father, who always reached the limit of 380 MB even with App2SD) isn't in need of always having the newest version installed and I wanted to save some additional work with installing additional kernels and stuff.
Besides the fact that I can't restore apps with Rom Toolbox Pro (haven't tried Titanium Backup yet), I face the mentioned Issue with the camera. I tried flashing these camera libs for the MT15i, but the problem persists: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1738369
Is it possible, in example by transferring parts of an MT15i ROM, to fix that issue? What to I need to transfer? As long as I can't ensure a working app restore, I'm trying not to wipe everything and flash another ROM. Or is someone able to tell my why Rom Toolbox doesn't restore to be safely able to flash ROMs? Reinstalling everything by hand and loosing all settings feels somewhat tedious since I've learned to love Rom Toolbox for its restore on my GT-I9003.
Because I come from a Samsung Galaxy SL I apologize in advance for anything I've missed on my searches through these forums.
Really no one?

But won't that void all my warranty
Or have I already void them by rooting
And flashing pureness
One More question
Can I make a ftf file with whatever I have
Installed in my neo v, pureness b14 sp1
So that I won't need to install. 587're
Then pureness zip, then patch for neo v
And after rebooting and wait of one hour
Sp1. I just wanna get it repaid
So I wanna know can I make an ftf file of complete
Rom u am having installed now in my mobile
Using flashtool
thank but some quarries still there

Thanks for ur help buddy
But still have some questions
Won't that void all my warranty
Or have I already void that by rooting and
Flashing pureness
And can I make a ftf kind of file with my current
Rom and applications so that next time I won't need to do
Such long process to flash pureness sp1
Like flash. 587 than flash.562 kernel to root
Than root and install cwm recovery
Then install.587 kernel than pureness zip
Than patch for neo v thanreboot and wait for
Atleast one our and than install sp1
So I think it will be easy to have a ftf.file and flash
It using flashtool or something like that
Is this possible
U have already void warranty, not sure about ftf file your talking about but I dont think so!

Btw which rom do you want gb/ics/jb. I am listing some of my personal favourites you will find them easily in the neo v development section. The steps to installation are also there in the respective roms, if you still have some problem you can first try to find the solution by reading the thread or else post your question on respective threads or pm me. Happy to help. The roms i like are
1. SJB 4.1.2
2. Mike's LegacyXperia rom CM10.1/10.2
3. DarkDefenders's rom based on LegacyXperia 4.2.2 ( Currently discontinued)
4. Ultimate HD rom (ICS)
5. Xperia Slim (GB)
These many would be enough to confuse you.

Yes install fusion 5.4 kernel it has cwm in it.
For cm10.1 use the kernel inside zip.
Look into the sticky threads you'll find how to unlock your bootloader. Do it via the official sony site. For more details on any of the roms visit respective threads.

i unlocked my bootloader and rooted, now for flashing of kernels and roms the options look like this
1. copy super jelly bean and gapps to sd card
2. flash any jb kernel for neov via fastboot.. i recommend fusion kernel 5.4 (present inside the zip file )
3.[OPTIONAL] flash stock ics .587 ftf excluding kernel and simlock.ta files..
4. boot into recovery
5.full wipes
ie :
wipe data / factory reset
wipe cache partition
wipe dalvik cache
in mounts and storage , wipe system , data and cache
6. flash Super Jelly Bean
8. only for neo (mt15i) users flash patch
7.flash gapps : use this link : Gapps For SJB
8.reboot
9.enjoy
I CANT GET THE 3RD POINT!! where can i get ics.587 ftf file??
Skip that point. Won't cause any trouble. Even if you want to, search for it in the development section. There is a thread which has all the stock firmwares. Download it from there. Turn off your phone. Move the downloaded ftf file to firmware folder in flashtool folder on your pc. Open flashtool, click on the flash/bolt icon/button. You will get two options choose flash mode. Select the ftf file and follow on screen instructions. While flashing the stock ftf uncheck the kernel and simlock files. Once the progress bar reaches 100% go ahead with other steps.
This must be looking so confusing so u can skip this.

Since I can't post yet to the developer's section, I decided to make a thread about this new ROM by saqib nazm. I'm a big fan of his custom ROMs. I just want to ask if this ROM can also be used with Xperia Neo L. It says on the OP of your thread that you need to be on stock ICS 4.1.B.0.587 or 4.1.B.1.13 Firmware and since Neo L has one of the official firmwares (which is .587), I was wondering if I can install this also on my device. I remember having problems when I tried to install one of your custom ROMs which is Revolution ICS HD even if Neo L is part of the aroma installer. If this can't be installed with Neo L, is it also possible if you can port this to Neo L or Xperia Play, since XPlay ROMs work on Neo L. Thanks

Original Xperia Z1 Honami ROM
Hello guys,
I have a quesiton.
Do you know where to find, which version of this ROM I am using in my phone ? I mean if it is professional or exlusive or extreme. I have Xperia mini pro.
And I can give you the build number if it helps : 14.1.g.1.263
One more thing.
This ROM was working really well for me. But last trhee weeks it is starting to act weird. Mainly when I am trying to call someone or somebody is calling me. The phone will reset on its own. Well this is not happening on each call. But it is annoying.
Do you think is time to re-install the ROM ? As I am using this ROM for really a long time maybe from November or October 2013.
Thank you for your help.
Have a nice day
Hello. I've got a huge problem with my Mt11 xperia neo v right now. Few months ago I've unlocked the bootloader, and succesfully installed Cyanogenmod 9, stable version. It was fine but then strange problems came, apps were crashing, battery was being drained ultra-fast while using the internet, phone was restarting after calls.
Today I have decided to switch to another ROM, I've downloaded some to test them, entered the Recovery mode, wiped data, cache, system and chose the zip. Every single ROM i've downloaded and flashed didn't work. After the "Free Xperia Project" logo the screen just went black (still lighted up tho) and stayed like that untill I took out the battery. Last one I tried and really liked the description was http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2393160 .
Can you please help me asap? I need the phone working tommorow. Thanks.
