You put the backup inside your TWRP --> BACKUPS --> ''YOURSERIALNUMBER'' folder?
Because it's the only way to update for you

That's the problem, you need a ICS TWRP because you have ICS hboot (I assume because you want to update to JB)
Use this one: http://d-h.st/eCC

after a mega wipe you will stay in recovery and you will be able to flash a rom or nandroid, but it has to be on external SD as internal will be wiped!

Where are my restore files? URGENT

Hey guys.
Basically I put on CM10.1 and then MIUI, but I read that when you upgrade to CM10.1 your files go into a folder called 0?
Well basically I wanna go back to standard by doing a restore, but I go onto CWM and it says after I click "restore" - "no files found"
So where have my restore files gone?
Or how can I get it back to standard? Will I be able to do it on mobile ODIN at all?
Thanks in advance.
Oli
If it helps guys
I have gone through file explorer
0\clockwordmod\backup\ has my restore in it, just how can I restore it in CWM?

Copy that folder to the root of your sdcard then CWM should be able to see it.

nope it didn't, it failed to copy the files over a couple times, did it in the end but it keeps failing to restore...
You'll have to do a full wipe and flash a rom again then I think.

How about FS option > change to other type of file system then wipe again? Still reboots?
If not try PhilZ touch instead. Or can you flash any ROM's?

Downgrade to 4.4.2 from 4.4.4

Hello
I made a full nandroid backup of stock 4.4.2 using CWM before I flashed 4.4.4.
Would you be able to restore 4.4.2 nandroid backup using recovery?

Yes you can. If you go to advanced restore in cwm you'll notice a backup contains partition images for system, data, boot and cache (i think). If you restore your phone, restore all partitions and you'll be fine.

Exclude bootloader partition while backing up, good to go. And also, once everything's going right just wipe from twrp & flash firmware, Rom & gapps, Reboot!

Ahhh, Deym!
Anyway, backup / restore is still buggy on mido!
Why you wanna take nandroid? Just wipe everything and flash cm14.1 firmware first, then custom rom & gapps, reboot!
You can easily flash Miui using TWRP if you don't like custom Roms!

Nah, it depends!
If you're coming from Android 6X based MIUI then you need to flash cm14.1 firmware, if you're jumping from Android Nougat based MIUI then there's no need of firmware.
