How about FS option > change to other type of file system then wipe again? Still reboots?
If not try PhilZ touch instead. Or can you flash any ROM's?

[Q] Bricked my Galaxy mini. What do i do?

So, what do i do? I have access to the Recovery mode and Download mode and that, but i can't start the phone. it shows a simple white Android text on a black background. This happened when i flashed it and installed Cyanogen. I installed 2.3 before that, and 2.3 worked like a charm. I really need help ASAP, i need the phone tomorrow, i have an important meeting!
I tried to install the 2.3 ROM again, but after it's finished the white text is still there.
It would be nice to get a reply here.
Have you tried doing a full wipe of data and cache before flashing?

When you say 'flash', do you mean what i do in ODIN or in recovery mode?

Well, guessing that you use ODIN to flash (install the rom of your device) the rom, then there (also done in CWM Recovery). But I am saying, did you format the device before doing this?

If you're talking about formatting the sd card before flashing... no.
If you're talking about formatting the device data in Recovery before flashing... no
Do you think i should try formatting it first, and then flashing? I'm going to have a go at flashing through Odin and then through Recovery, as i originally did. This time with a format first
someone please help

Yes, I meant formatting the device data while in recovery, before flashing.

Do a full wipe (data factory reset, wipe cache) and reflash the rom. That should fix it.

Download a terminal emulator and do the following:
# echo -n ON > /efs/imei/keystr
# reboot
See if that helps. If it sticks after reboot good. If not, you might have to flash a different ROM.

One more thing to try.
Go into CWM recovery.
1. Wipe Cache
2. Wipe Dalvik Cache
Still in CWM go to Mounts And Storage
1. format /data
2. format /cache
3. format /system
The Factory Reset again.
Go back to CWM Menu and go to Advanced
1. Fix Permissions
See if that fixes it..

Do u mean, after formating data/cache/system i need to reboot phone, factory reset from settings menu or dial keys code and than back to cwm. i try this but phone stuck at galaxy s3 logo
even i factory reset/wipe from CWM my phone stuck at galaxy logo.
You need to do that all from the CWM Recovery.
Don't reboot the phone until you are all done.
If you are stuck at boot logo now, you will need to re-flash your firmware with ODIN and try again.

You will have to re-flash your ROM with ODIN and then flash CF-Root again. That will give you recovery.
But, that might fix your problem too.

Kyocera Rise Bootloop Please help!

I downloaded Font Installer on my Kyocera Rise and I attempted to change my font. Soon after installing the fonts it required a reboot and the phone is on a bootloop due to that. When i go to system recovery, at the very bottom it says: E:Cannot load volume /misc . Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds like something got messed up with the mount point for the /misc partition, it can be fixed by modifying the mount points in recovery.fstab, but do not try this if you don't know what your doing you can mess up your recovery. Do you have a custom recovery installed? Try doing a factory reset if you only have the stock recovery, if you have Clockworkmod Recovery installed whipe cache and do a factory reset. If that doesn't work re-install the stock firmware for your phone.

You put the backup inside your TWRP --> BACKUPS --> ''YOURSERIALNUMBER'' folder?
Because it's the only way to update for you

The same method is followed for both CWM and TWRP but dont know why it doesnot delete in your case. Coz if you are doing a advanced wipe it will surely delete boot files for sure.
