PLEASE HELP :crying: :crying:
1) Use a proper thread title; 'Help !!!!' does not cut it. It needs to be descriptive, many people won't even look at your thread with the title you have now. Edit it.
2) Find Hopper8's 'Odin troubleshooting' thread stickied in General, and go through as many of the troubleshooting steps as many times as you need to in order to get a successful flash with Odin. However, be careful you're only flashing I9100G firmware, flashing anything else will brick your phone (like the 3 part firmware linked in Hopper's thread which can be useful in some situations, do not flash this as it's for I9100).
Do not come back to this thread and say 'But I've tried blah blah blah blah'. You are the only person who can fix your phone at this point, nobody here can do this for you. And by referring you to that thread, I've given you the tools with which you can get it done.
You're welcome.
can you please send me the thread link
i can't find it
Absolutely not.
Go to the General section, the stickied threads are near the top 'Guide - Troubleshoot a failed Odin flash'.
Keep posting to multiple threads about the same issue & you'll probably find yourself banned. Which means your phone stays busted.

I bought SGS2 GTi1900g a few weeks ago, and it came with GB 2.3.7. A day after i purchased the phone, i rooted it and installed it with ICS 4.0.3 if im not mistaken and i rooted it as well.
Just now, i decided to flash Darkyrom HD... after i read some info about it.
This is the thread link - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1544689
The Thread Title - [ROM][ICS][LPQ][ODIN+CWM] DarkyROM HD Base XXLPQ for I9100
So i guess the rom will be compatible with my SGS2 i9100g, and i flashed using Odin3. After that, i flashed the DarkyRom also using Odin...But Odin didnt fully flashed it encounted an error. Since that, i am totally ****Ed UP!! The darkyrom somehow changed my internal to emmc and everything i did to revert will end up with the same error... Error Mount /Emmc! I Tried everything... i think i've even formated my SD... OMFG i lost everything. But i dont want to lost the phone.
What can i do? How can i change the name back to how it was? I believed that is the culprit... unfinisned installation, and internal_card changed to emmc, so every other installations will failed.
Pls ... im so desperate... been doing this for hours its 6.15am already lol i aint go to work if i cant get it booted i had evrything inside it. Jees i shoudnt even bother with this rom so dangerous
PS: Now my sgs2 stucked at samsung galaxy SII start screen with black background, i can enter recovery/download mode but they are useless as i said earlier the name of internalcard has changed to emmc so is it bricked?

Ouch.
Darkyrom is an I9100 ROM, not an I9100G ROM. (read the thread. It says I9100. NOT I9100G.)
I9100G cannot use any I9100, I9100T, I9100P, or I9100M firmwares or ROMs due to the different hardware. (different SoC/CPU/GPU)
If you can get to download mode, try this.
wow thanks pal that was fast
I am reading that thread right now, and downloading the 339mb zip file ..almost finished btw!

Well, the good news is that you used a firmware file intended for the I9100G above. If it's still failing as above though, try:
- different USB ports on the computer (no hubs or pass-throughs)
- different USB cable
I'm assuming you for sure have drivers installed? (If you have Kies installed at all, then you should have drivers)

Ok i followed the guide in that thread you mentioned.
The file only came with .tar.md5 file, no PIT file or bootloader/csc file.
So i 'odined' the file. Failed!

I didn try different cables but i followed the guide you posted step by step.
I downloaded the .pit file, 'odined' it. Download the stock rom, did the same and everything running ok, odin showed the flash was completed!
The phone reboot, and installing apps (1st time boot) .. but i can see somewhere in the lines it says 'error mounting...'
Then it reboot again, voila! i got my GB booting up perfectly! Thanks a million !
That thread should have made stickied

Glad you got sorted. Do stick to ROMs in the I9100G section from now on, eh?
Hello, I've recently had a problem updating my S2 GT-I9100.
I'm pretty noob at this and I need your help.
My S2 is currently having the "orange triangle" problem, and I was wondering how to fix it.
I would also like to clarify, when getting the orange triangle with debugging mode on, is it called a softbrick?
If so, i've been trying to follow this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1457458
I followed the GINGERBREAD guide because that is what my phone is.
But whenever I try, Odin gets stuck at boot.bin or just fail.

When I put all 3 files into the PDA, PHONE and MODEM.
Also, the Kernel for that part of the guide doesn't work.
(Corrupted) If you can, please supply me with another one.
Thanks.
Flash ICS, CF-Root then get rid of triangle using Triangle Away app.
Alright, thanks for the reply.
I'll do it when I get back home.
Fingers crossed :>
EDIT: Can I please have the links so I can download them?
neerajganga was so kind enough to spend approx 3 hours to help me fix softbrick, flash ics and rom.
Thank you so much, it was fun talking to you.
Gave you a reward :>
(I hope it's special)
Hi guys,
I am trying to root my S3, but after installing the drivers and whatnot, I open up Odin, select the pda then plug my phone in (in DL mode) and hit start. now odin can see the phone, and tells me its added, but it just sits on "setup connection" until it times out and says failed...
This is the directions im going off
any help would be gladly taken on board

You are posting in I9300 Q&A, go here for I9305
besides this, make sure KIES is not running in the background, but I am not familiar with the I9305 itself.
That root is not for your phone if you took the time to read op

I really need serious help now
I was having GT-i9100 4.1.2 stock rooted with Siyah-s2-v6.0b4 kernel.
Today I wiped the dalvik cache, cahche partition and format data and factory reset the phone via Recovery and then when Rebooted it was just stuck on the boot screen.
I then flash with the again Stock 4.1.2 via ODIN and it failed.
Here is the log.

Please help!
Please follow the rules & search before posting.
'Odin doesn't work' has been covered at least half a dozen times over the past two days in Q&A. Search for those threads, then other threads mentioned in those threads which have the set troubleshooting steps you need to try (That's assuming you want you phone fixed ?).
Edit - Pro tip: You may think your problem is urgent, everyone else here doesn't. Using 'OMGZ I borked my phone plz helpz urgently or I'll die !' type titles only makes people who might help you roll their eyes & go 'Just another impatient n00b'.

Thanks for the info.

We all are.
Sent from the little guy
Hey all,
So here's the thing; I put my gt-i9300t (non-rooted) phone on charge last night and woke up this morning to the samsung logo screen. A little research and time told me it should be fixable. Some suggested Kies, enter the model and serial and get back to stock. That's great, except I downloaded and installed Kies, only to have it reject the model and serial number combination. Sure I noticed it was case sensitive, but even using either case, the issue could not be overcome. So, I moved on to Odin and the information I found re SamMobile. Did I download and install Odin - yep, all good. How about finding the firmware that was stock for my phone? Yep, 2 hour download no issue.
Was I able to put the phone into download mode? Sure, easy as. Did Odin detect it as a port number via usb, it did at that. Once I extracted the rom, I told Odin to use it as an AP file and made sure re-partition was not ticked. It takes about 30 seconds to check the md5 and load the firmware, when it's ready I click on start. Instead of getting the expected result, I get the below error.
If someone could point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. Objective is to get it working.
Cheers
