Hi,
no app can use my mobile data connection, except browser. I once installed droidwall to do exactly this. But when i purge the rules/turn off the firewall, other apps still cant connect.
I even re-flashed the ROMs and didnt touch the iptables.
What can i do about this?
(Running CM7 RC14 on Motorola Milestone (Same issue with FroyoMod))
I am posting this on behalf of my colleague who owns a SGS-3. He is unable to use Google services (like gtalk, gmail, currents while he is connected to mobile 2G/3G network. But everything works fine when he is connected to Wifi network. The internet connectivity in 2G/3G through mobile data works fine as he can browse the net, open other applications that use internet without any issues. Has anyone faced the same issue and can give a workaround for this?

I was on CM10 0803 (with the new kernel) and the data signal was always gray (no google services). Only on wifi I could use Gtalk, and such.
After atempting to flash Siyah i got stuck on boot screen, proceed to full wipe.
I did o Dalvik, Cache, Data, Facotry wipe, then flashed 0803, gapps, CM10 0803 kernel, then LG8 modem.
Now it works!

I am currently using AOKP based Tsunami ROM 1.0. I installed it exactly as per instructions i.e. first went back to an ICS based ROM and then installed Tsunami. Inspite of this my wifi tethering doesnt work. USB and bluetooth tethering works perfectly. I even tried third party apps like Open garden wifi tethering to no avail.
A little help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
No1 faced this problem with an AOKP ROM?
Hi!
I have a Locked BL Sony Ericsson Live With Walkman.
I have been testing different custom roms but every time i install it i can't use Foursquare over mobile data. Using it on WiFi is fine and even if i tether to my iPod I can do check-ins from there. All the other apps work well over mobile data. Any suggestions? If i can't use Foursquare on a Custom ROM i'll go back to stock but it sucks a lot.
Thanks!
Hi,
I'm holding a Korean LG V10.
All my apps are working fine with wifi connection.
However, only instagram is working if I am using my mobile data. :crying:
Most apps like Facebook, Whatsapp, Line, etc are not working at all even when I restart my phone.
Anyone can advise what should I do?
