Dear Experts,
Last night i was going to install a new rom on my Nexus 7 2012 (grouper). I had CM 11 and PhilZ Touch recovery (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2485264) installed on my tablet.
Before installing the new rom, which was Xeonhd (http://www.xenonhd.com/downloads/index.php/viewcategory/16-grouper), I wiped everything to have a clean install. When I was doing the wipe, there was an option to wipe everything (see the attachment).
I chose this option to wipe and flashed the rom (update-xenonhd-05-23-14-signed-grouper.zip) successfully using sideload method.
After this flash my Nexus does not boot. I have a boot loop which I see Google logo and PhilZ Touch recovery. However, PhilZ Touch recovery is not functional, I only have control keys and nothing else. Otherwise I could flash a new room using recovery.
I also tried flashing a new recovery but fastboot doesn't see the device anymore. I am stucked at "waiting for device" message.
Do you have any idea for the solution ?
I would appreciate your help.
Thank you.
Is there anyone that can help me on that ?
Do you have fastboot / vol down+ pwr/?

Hello. I have recently bought YuanDao(Window) N70S tab, but it has been turning off every time i launched any app. I flashed ClockWorkMod and tried to flash this RockCream Sandwich ROM. First I wanted just to restart the tab (before installing custom ROM) but it only launched recovery menu), so I decided to flash this ROM. After another restart it just went dead. It's not recognized by RKAndroidTool, but my PC recognizes it, but i can't access its memory. Can be something done about this? Sorry for my English, because it's not my native language.
You can't install CWM on N70S.
Use RKbatchtool and revert to stock 4.1.1

You can install CWM, for the N70S fun_ has created a recovery for it and can be found here:

I have a rooted n70s and cannot figure out how to install cwm recovery. I get the droid with the red triangle when I boot to recovery using both cwm ROM manager, quick boot, or the volume buttons. Is there another way to flash it?

Hello guys!
I tried to update the latest nightly on my phone (the last one was from July 2013, so I think it was still CM 10.1) with the CM Installer and rebooted.
Unfortunately I got an error message while in the update screen with the green Android figure and now I am stuck in Philz Touch 4 Recovery menu.
I already tried a factory reset, but I always end up in this recovery menu after restart.
How can I make my phone working again?
I am grateful for any help!
thank you in advance

Reflash the stock firmware and repeat steps again.
Hi guys! I have been reading through the post and searching for possible solution to my Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 problem but I cant find any solutions. Here is the story:
I have flashed the GT-P1000 tab with clockworkmod version 6 (i am not sure the exact version) using Odin.
Now after flashing the recovery, I have successfully installed Cyanogenmod 11 (nightly build) and everything was successful and everything is great.
A friend of mine borrowed the tab and he put a pattern to lock the phone, instead of asking him what is the pattern I just decided to wipe the tab again to make a clean install. So what I did was I went to recovery and selected "format /system" which I shouldn't have, then after rebooting it is not booting up to Cyanogen anymore, so what i did was I just wiped everything (format /data, cache and factory reset)
Now this is the weird part, the devices has kept on booting up to clockwork recovery and it says the device is not yet rooted, it is asking me if it is ok to root it, I always selected yes
After another boot up, the clockwork recovery is now version 3.0.0.5??? it is really weird? I never installed any clockwork mod with a lower version... How did that happen?
Now whenever I try to install from sd card or restore it or mount it nothing happens, it just says:
E:Can't mount
E:unknown volume
E:unable process volume! skipping
I tried to flash the recovery again using Odin many times but still the clockwork mod is stuck in version 3.0.0.5.
Right now, I am not sure if my understanding of the entire system is correct:
1. Should I install a new recovery, if yes, how and why is it whenever I am installing it again it is not being installed, it gets stuck to version 3.0.0.5?
2. Are there any other recovery I should use and how should I install it? is it the same as using the Odin?
3. Is there a way to install the original recovery of this tab and then from there I will start over again.
@Battousai1
1. & 2. Find an Odin flashable recovery for p1000... Go to download mode and flash it with Odin...
After doing that you shouldn't have the problem anymore...
3. To install the original recovery find the stock rom which is again Odin flashable ... Flash it and you'll have the stock recovery...

Hi guys, just an update, I have finally managed to restore my device's software back to its original version. Thanks to Overcome. Here's the thread for those who still have this device and have some similar problems: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1881981
Hello. I have a Galaxy Mini 2 (GT-5600d) more specific, and I installed a custom OS which the phone couldn't support well, so I wanted to turn back to my stock ROM. I found the ROM and installed it using ODIN 3.09 and the only problem I have is that I have to do a data wipe from the recovery menu. Problem is, the recovery menu is jammed for some time now. I didn't need it much before and never taught it could screw up. Seems that now I am stuck with the phone in a continuous boot loop. Any suggestions?
