So somehow I broke the glass over the camera. Does anyone know how difficult it is to change it. I was going to exchange it for a refurb model with the htc program but i've rooted and s-off'ed it

I dropped my HTC Legend yesterday onto concrete, and now my screen is cracked. I've looked online to see if I could buy the part myself, and try and fix it myself as a local cell repair shop says it will cost 180$ to fix, for that price I'll just buy a brand new Legend and cut my losses with this one. Looking around online though, I'm unsure as to what I need to buy? I've found an LCD screen, or a digitizer... My touchscreen and all those functions work 100% all thats wrong is the glass is spiderwebbed pretty good. I'm thinking that I need the digitizer not the LCD screen? Or is there just a part thats just the glass? I'd post a picture of the phone, but I can't due to site restrictions.
So... I failed, and the glass has one crack on it that stretches from one side of the screen to the other near the bottom. Most people wouldn't mind it, and it could in fact be taken as maybe just a worse than usual scratch. I care a lot about it though, and it bugs the living sh** outta me! >:O
I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a step by step manual screen replacement tutorial, or video of some sort. I would get it fixed by some third party store, except they're charging over like $200... And I can't get warranty from Rogers since I'm a Fido customer, and because it wasn't even bought directly from Rogers. Or maybe there's some other solution to fix the screen? Like I heard of that scratch filling screen, maybe that'll do something.
Thanks for your help!
Just fyi, on the Razr the glass and display are glued together making it impossible to replace just the glass.
Here's a tear-down of the phone:

Im also looking to find a way to defuse the two i have two RAZRs one with cracked glass one with cracked lcd wondering if i can make one with all the good parts and sell the other for parts but all ive heard is how to seperate the two but not how to place them together..
I plan on buying a new digitizer to replace the one on my phone since I manged to scratch it just before my screen protector arrived (there was a backlog of undelivered parcels at my post office, my screen protector should have been there BEFORE my phone -.-)
I'm pretty comfortable with the process of replacing the digitizer, but I've got a quick question (maybe not so quick to be honest.)
We should have all seen (and most likely drooled over) the new colours being released, I was wondering if a digitizer from the US Sprint or Verizon variants of the s3 would fit my uk/international s3? I'd love to get my hands on the silver digitizer and back plate, but I don't want to fork out £200 to find out it doesn't fit!
Is there anyone who could shed some light on this? would carrier specific radios be located on the back of the digitizer or something?
Cheers!
If you buy a new digitiser ..... Don't throw the old one ...I will buy it from you..

Guys,
i managed to throw my razr on the ground so intelligently that the gorilla glass cracked.
I have ordered a replacement front with a digitizer without the actual screen (which is working ok).
For some reason i cannot find a manual how to dismantle the front panel so i could switch the display to the new part.
do someone of you have access to the official motorola repair manual or did someone of you had to deal with a similar issue?
any advice will be appreciated.
tools and kind of skills are not an issue. i just need a know how.

HTC One M8 back main camera glass cracked, need to know the cheapest/best way to get this fixed. HTC quoted $120... way too much for just an inch wide piece of glass covering the camera...
I can't post the picture link here (Of the crack), since I have not passed 10 posts yet.
