I have seen many different firmwares for this device but I am worried about flashing the wrong firmware and bricking my device. So could any anyone help me solve my issue and provide a link and instructions for the latest firmware for this device.
My specifications are
256MB of RAM
1GHz Processor
2GB Flash storage
1024 X 600 Resolution
10 inch LED Display

Hi, there are any way to unlock 256 MB RAM limitation on Huawei u8650.
Phones sold in Spain had 256 MB kernel limitation but Taiwan ones had 512MB RAM !!!

I think this is impossible. If there was 256mb extra, I think any of the custom ROMs that have been appearing would have unlocked this feature. And neither Gorans Good rom, nor Benru's or ZAD's versions of cyanogenmod 7.2 have done this.
There is a model though, marketed in China as Huawei C8650, this one does have 512mb of ram.
For all I know, we are stuck with 256mb.

my clone one x it's unusable, i've flashed a wrong firmware.
I wrote several times to fastcardtech to have the firmware but they said only link wrong ... never again will buy from them, I would add that, as usual, I thought I had bought the phone with the screen 960x540 and instead is a 854x480.
however, for those who want to help, the phone is
IHTC X ONE MTK6577 Dual Core - 4.5 Inch Screen 1.2 GHz CPU Android 4.0 Phone.
the firmware that i need is e1911_v77_jbaol_g20mt9p017fwvga_6628
and the display driver is RX_445HX_495A that is scarce.
i've downloaded a lots of firmware of differnt phones that has the resolution display at 480x854.

i know sthe two links..... nothing with that driver lcm.
i've download many and many roms that has resolution 480x854 fwvga but all the uboot.img that i've tried dosen't have the correct driver(using MSDT).

hii m also mt6577 user nid sm hlp if u can kernel is 3.0.13 i flashed a jb rom if booted bt screen is pure white may be difrent drivers can u tel wat chages nid to be made

Someone gave to me an Orange Cool Android 2.3 Tablet (it's a Brazilian brand, Model tb7800), complaining about slowness and hang ups.
I did some research with the aim of flashing a better ROM, however this model is not well-known and I'm kind of lost among all the different ROMs and architectures, so I would appreciate if someone could just point me in the right direction...
First of all: is there any better ROM compatible with this device? These are the details reported by CPU-Z:
Model: OR-TB7800 (rk29sdk)
Display: eng.koffu.20111209.175.607, 800x480
Android: 2.3.1, kernel architecture armv7l, kernel version 2.6.32.27
CPU: ARM Cortex A8, 1 core, rev. r3p2, 408Mhz-1Ghz
GPU: Vendor= Vivante Corp, Renderer=GC800 core.
Total RAM: 271 MB
Internal Storage: 1GB
Second: if the answer is yes, I would appreciate some hits with regards to the recommended ROM and flash procedure (just some hints, I'll do my homework and continue from there, I promise!). On the contrary, if the answer to the above is no, is there anything that you would recommend me besides rooting the device to uninstall some bloatware (Facebook, etc.). The IPS display seems good and the tablet is as new, it would be a shame if I can't find some good use for it...

I have this tablet
Allwinner A-10 quad core processor with 1 GB DDR3 on board dedicated RAM.Comes with Android 4.0.3 ICS OS.It has got a 7 inch Retina IPS (Instant Plane Switching) with 5 point multi touch capacitive display
it got a SuperHD 7 inch Retina A quad core Maili 400 GPU.In built 3G module with single sim slot. 8 gb nand flash. 1024*600 resolution.
After trying with more than 30 Roms for jelly bean, now I flashed with a Rom which was made for 9.7 inch device. I have bellow problems
a. can not see the buttom of display, as well as home, back keys. I tried by lowering LCD value to 130 from build prop but no luck.
b. I can see only 4 gb of my 8 gb internal storage.
c. touch inverted(got solution in another thread)
my USB debugging on so I can modify this Rom even before flash. but I don't have the stock Rom.please kindly help. thanks a lot in advance.

OK.. Firstly lets figure out what kind of tab you actually have, the A10 is a single Core SOC not quad core
so if it is truly a quad core it is most likely an A31 if it is Allwinner. Before Flashing Roms it would be best
to determine what SOC is in use first so once you have confirmed that we can work from there.

Thanks for your kind reply. first when I connect to USB it says A10. but my reseller said a13. livesuit said invalid id for Roms made for a13. only this Rom (for A10) from modecom got flushed successfully. ww---w.modecom.eu/freetab_97011/tablety2/product/
then I used USB mouse, install cpv identifier, got a10. here is the uberizer snap for you too. again, as far I know, a10 doesn't have HDMI and Bluetooth, but in my device, there is HDMI port, though I didn't test. thanks again for your time..... I am so worried......
