Does anyone know of a seller that does Screen protector that actualy fit?
The one that came with the phone was slightly too big an was causing air bubbles on the screen as it over lapped on to the outter case

I have the first one - fits well and does the trick. I have just ordered the second one so the rear and sides of the device have protection.
Pricey, but lifetime guarantee and made of a cool material.

It fits really well, I almost can't tell that it's on besides for two whitish lines at the left and right edges of the screen but it's under my silicon jacket so I see none of that =)

search the forum, this is a popular topic. i agree the htc protector is a little too big, i have also tried the Brando anti-glare, which is a little short top to bottom. a cheap ebay alternative was a good fit, but too shiny, prone to fingerprints.
I got the EXiM SPOC one from ebay, its the exact size but only problem is it doesn't have a hole for camera.
No sticky touch, smooth and washable/reusable. Very good, always had EXiM, never been dissapointed.
You can also try www.purplemoo.com they only produced fitting protectors. Very good customer service.

Has anyone used the wet application type (eg the Clear Protector mentioned above)? I've bought one of these but the idea of putting water on my device fills me with dread, especially as there's a big hole in the facia for the microphone. This seems like lunacy!
I bought an InvisiShield screen protector, not whole body, came with rubber squegee and spray.
Spray your hands, peel of protector, spray film not phone, place on and squegee off. Left in airing cupboard overnight, and you cannot notice its even on there. THe only thing I did was wipe of the front with a damp cloth as the spray stopped your fingers running smoothy over it.
As a testiment to it, I dropped my Touch, bounced twice... body has a couple of minor scratches but they stop where the protector starts... would recommend!

Man i bought this EXiM SPOC and what a load of ****!
The worse screen protector i've ever used. It is so easily scratched and whenever i drag the stylus across the screen, it leaves marks on the screen.
A cheap 99 cent screen protector on eBay that i bought for my mums Omnia is better quality.
AVOID at all cost.

The following will run through the experience of the installation process and comparison with EXiM PET dry install screen protectors and Wrapsol Wet apply body protection.
(Reportedly, Zagg is also similar to Skinomi)
Type:
Installation: WET
Light Permeability: High (ultra clear, glossy)
Prior to Installation:
The protector material is packaged in a tube. Opening the package cap reveals a rolled up screen protector, an instruction guide, squeegee and spray solution. The protector was unrolled and flattened for several days prior to installation.
Installation:
bathroom was steamed up to settle the dust, the screen was cleaned with a mircofibre cloth dipped in 99% Isopropyl.
Compressed air was used to blast off any dust particles on the screen
The protector material was peeled and sprayed with solution
The protector material is elastic / stretchy.
-If my experience with Wrapsol's body protection material that was also stretchy is any indication, caution must be used during installation to avoid accidental excessive stretching which caused permanent deformation of the material. Once the material is over stretched, the holes, edges, etc will be unaligned, rendering the protector useless.
-There is no stretchiness with EXiM PET or any dry install screen protectors
Installation took a few tries before perfect alignment was achieved.
-on several occasions when I tried to realign one part of the screen protector (hoping the rest of the material would follow as with ridged dry PET protectors), the material would instead stretch, so I had to lift the whole screen protector for alignment to avoid stretching and deformation.
After alignment, I used a micro cloth to push all the solution (which is hopefully demineralized to prevent electrical conductivity)
-a micro cloth was used instead of the squeegee provided to minimize damage to the overly soft protector material.
-the material is dentable even with mere accidental stab of a finger nail (not so with ridged dry install PET protectors).
I noticed it's almost impossible to see remaining dust specs due to under lying liquid solution, so you'll just have to hope you did a good job of cleaning prior to installation
First day of application:
-Foggy screen (reportedly disappears after a few days)
-Dented protector (the material is too soft and is pretty much useless to protect itself) (unless this characteristic ALSO disappears and becomes hard material in a few days..., can't recommend)
Second day:
-Majority of the fogginess from the microbubbles have disappeared, a minority of it remains, ~2% of the screen
-material remains soft and malleable
-one dust spec found
Fourth Day:
-Several dents on the screen protector remain from the installation process and more will come from even the slightest impact of a pointy object.
-This material is simply too soft. It is a poor choice of material if longevity is the aim of the protector.
-all microbubbles disappeared

the EXiM PET protectors are half the price and twice the quality.
I used to have a manually modified Apple IPAD EXiM PET protector installed for their lack of the Transformer version available on eBay for $12. Now I can tell the EXiM is definitely better both in installation process and usability.
Light permeability might be a little better with this Skinomi protector as it is thinner than the PET dry install protectors. But I can not be completely sure. I am comparing an old PET installation with weeks of accumulated finger prints and other grime to a brand new installation of Skinomi. So the comparison isn't on equal footing.
PROs:
high light permeability, thin
more Fingerprint resistant (more so than Dry Apply EXiM)
CONs:
difficult installation
-hard to realign (due to stretchiness, requires total lift of material for realignment)
-stretchiness (prone to accidental deformation during installation)
-difficult to see dust specs until a while after installation due to necessary spray solution
poor usability on 1st day post installation (delay in fog dissipation)
poor longevity (soft material very vulnerable to dents and scratches)
-extremely vulnerable to vinegar (cause permanent blur smear)
-extremely vulnerable to isopropyl (cause permanent blur smear)
RECOMMENDED?: No
I just bought my Eee Pad Transformer about two weeks ago and finally got the keyboard dock with it also. I also got this purchase on the Skinomi Screen Protector but has yet to arrive to my doorstep but thank you for the review. I'll see if I want to to test this on my Eee pad Transformer.

I would add to the cons... getting the thing off after you've had it on for a few weeks is ridiculous... I thought I was going to break the damn screen. To me that's just unacceptable. I replaced mine because where it touched the dock, the surface marred... agreed that this is crap.

Usually Matte ones that cut glare, also cut contrast or clarity. How does the picture quality compare with the Skinomi ?

Did you try to put a mild soap solution on the protector before removing it? It might help get it back to becoming more flexible.

I have one of these from posr.us. Really does cut on the glare, but is not very smooth on the fingers and also reduces clarity/contrast like you mentioned.
I think I am still going to try the skinomi.

This also happened to me - don't use anything other than a mild vinegar solution to clean the screen w/ this protector on it or else you'll get this blur/white patch effect - it ruins the entire screen protector.

I got the silver carbon fiber back from skinomi and I love it. It makes the back of the TF look so cool. I only installed the back because I didn't like the pieces for the side and stuff. I kept the screen protector for future use because I got a SGP anti-glare protector which I love also. The finger prints just disappear, well almost lol.
I couldn't disagree more with this review. My skinomi went on without any problems and looks great, can't even tell there is a protector on it.
How on earth do you get 'dents' on it during installation is beyond me......did you put it on with a knife and fork? There are many reviews and installation videos showing how easy it is and how good the skinomi looks when installed properly.

UPDATE:
CAUTION
ANOTHER Blur smear created by SubWay's (TM) Sweat Onion Chicken Terriakyi sub.
I was eating a sub when I accidentally made contact between the sub and the skinomi protector screen, some "sweet onion sauce" was smeared on the screen, when I wiped it with a napkin, ANOTHER blur was left behind just like with the isopropyl.
so even light vinegar will ruin this piece of crap.
I got the Skinomi for its full body skin... of course im already using something else as a screen protector...

Pro:

I bought two for my gtab....the first one had a deep scratch in it right out of the box and the second one went on like crap. I also see what appears to be bubbles in the material in spots.
you can pretty much just duplicate this review for the bodyguardz ultra clear screen protector. the same rolled up packaging. the same pain in the ass installation with alignment issues(although this isnt their fault ill admit.) i did the same tactics minus the cleaning with alcohol before hand and after a week I still had these ugly " blotches" on my screen. after a week. emailed bodyguardz and the rep said it was from lack of solution used. thats funny because i used 2 vials of the solution. ( i had one left over from my phone screen protector) anyways, i think im just gonna rock the tab without a screen protector. i have a decent case which it never leaves, i should be good.
while the Zagg is similar in installation i never had any of the problems you had installing it. The zagg doesnt come in a tube its flat out of the box. i Swear by the zagg, i have installed it on 4 iphones , a n1, ipad, Inspire 4g and now my transformer. while the zagg stretches ever so slightly you shouldnt be pushing so hard on it with the squeegee thiers is a rubber squeegee and works great. The Zagg also allows alot of light to come through and seems almost as good screen clarity as if it wasnt on. It cleans easily and resist finger prints, i have never noticed any denting either with the Zagg.
^ if you can confirm that the zagg doesnt have the " orange peel" feel on the transformer screen protector i will order one right now.
Iirc, zagg will yelow over time, and it is thicker so might result in lower light permeability
I find that the (plastic) screen guard that's provided with this phone is a major smudge magnet. I'm thinking of removing it. I'd like any feedback from anyone who has already taken it off.

UPDATE: I went ahead and got 9H Glass cover. 2-pack for $8 on Amazon. Immensely better than the plastic this phone ships with. I highly recommend doing this, even if you don't personally see a problem with the plastic cover. I promise once you see the difference you'll agree it was worth it.

There doesn't seem to be an oleophobic coating on the display because they expect you to keep the screen protector on. So taking it off might result in even more smudges. Personally, I didn't find the screen protector that came pre-installed to be a smudge magnet. I actually found that it reduced them. I'm not saying the protector necessarily has an oleophobic coating, but that I didn't have a problem with smudges on it. The only reason why I took mine off was because there was some black dust underneath the screen protector and I couldn't get it back on without more dust appearing under it. So I just removed it completely. You might have to buy another screen protector of your choice that will better repel smudges to your satisfaction.
I've taken mine off because I scratched mine with a paper towel (like wtf?) but now I wish I haven't, because things stick to the screen easier. So unless you have an alternate screen protector ready, I'd recommend not.

Thanks. This is information I didn't have. I have a couple of other devices with no plastic cover; I don't have the smudge issue with them. But if there's no coating on the h5, then it's probably best to keep it on.
Buy a tempered glass protection, that's cheap and protect very well the screen (ebay, amazon, aliexpress bangood, etc....) keywords : phone name + "tempered glass" or "9h"

Had various of those. All broke either in my pocket or by a slightdrop (dropping it on the table from like 4cms high. It doesnt protect against smudges very well. Got a plastic matt screenprotector. Tempered glass is a waste of you money in my opinnion.

Have various myself, only broken one, on a tablet.
Plastic is not the same feel as glass on the fingers (don't know how to explain it better in english), and it scratch must faster.

Which one did you have? I had the one from nillkin 9h. Scratched in my pocket and cracks began with the slightest drop. But yeah plastic is diffrent then glass..

Bought a generic 9H on eBay for 1€
I also have a transparent silicone case for the same price
I also bought the Nillkin 9H, but the other is still good so....
I took my plastic screen protector off the moment I got my tempered glass screen protector. Couldn't really remember how the original one felt since I only had for a very short period of time. That said, I recommend taking screen protector off for something better.
The stock screen protector is trash, all it does is act as a fingerprint magnet.
I did go to a Nillkin 9H. Wow - 90% reduction in smudges, and it is more sensitive than the stock plastic. Dropped the phone a few times, no issues. I do have an iPacky thin case, and it shows the abuse of daily use, but survives fine. It is also very thin. The thick cases defeat the whole purpose of our slim beauty.
I found that replacing the factory plastic screen protector with a high quality glass screen protector makes it a little better in terms of less fingerprint smudges and protection.

i took it off and you get some scratches but not allot. if you look at the jerryrigs video he tested it and its as strong as gorilla glas. So you can take it off. i took mine off because there was a huge scratch in my screen protector and i could not live with that.

I have literally never used any screen protector and have never had issues. However, YMMV. I immediately took off the screen protector that came with it. I did buy a nice cheap protective case from Amazon prime. It has enough lip to protect the screen and I always make sure not to put my phone in the same pocket as my keys or sharp items.
using honor 5x without screen protector since months, no scratch at all.
bt the back side got a couple of scratches from my bike keys

Thought I'd share my experience with this screen protector.
I've tried damn near all available on the market (tempered glass specifically) except the official OnePlus tempered glass. None were up to par. They all only have adhesive along the edges only which imo is a poor desicion. I see no plus to this.
The ones i tried all got dust under in a matter of days, and some even fell off completely after small drop tests.
Although this spigen is not a tgsp, it's is worth every penny. Application was easy, the wet application makes it to where alignment is 99 percent perfect. It covers at least all of the lighted display, of course it doesnt follow the 2.5d curve.
After application it took a couple hours to clear up any haziness that remained after squeegee/drying process. Don't apply too much pressure as I seem to have wrinkled a corner.
All in all, very satisfied with the product and will continue to buy after they get ugly...unless they make a perfect tgsp im the future.

Its far less of a dust/lint magnet. Id say 80 percent less attraction.
I just bought this protector as well, and installed it today.
It is exactly the same size as the pre-installed protector, which personally I like. That avoids issues with the curved screen, but is still large enough to protect the screen adequately when using a case. Of course the second benefit is that this is a case friendly screen protector. I have a cheap black TPU case similar to the spigen rugged armor, and they fit together without issue.
This is one of those healing/indestructible type protectors that have been around awhile, like an IQ Shield. I have used these on older devices, although I upgraded to TGSP on my last phone. I would have bought a TGSP for this phone, but apparently, the manufacturers have no clue what they're doing. I do like this type of protector. It is a wet application. This protector makes the screen appear slightly textured when viewed from extreme angles, but not much viewed straight on. I need to give it a full day to dry before I get too critical of it. The package came with two, and I'm likely to use these until a decent TGSP rolls around.

Yup, forgot to mention that. Still don't have any cosmetic problems with the film. Even the wrinkle I mentioned in the first post has corrected. I can actually see the film "heal" when I scratch it with my nail intentionally.
1 day followup: All the bubbles have disappeared. There is still very mild visible distortion that is present with every protector of this type. It doesn't bother me, but screen clarity perfectionists will probably complain. Again, its not a TGSP, but its great for what it is. No other issues.
Really waiting for it to get released in Europe.. So far only America, India as far as I can see. :/

You could go for the ultimate shield, which is basically the same type of screen protector.
Unlike the spigen it covers the whole front, I mean the area below the fingerprint scanner especially.
I don't know if there is any difference in thickness or coating.
The ultimate shield also has the same "orange skin effect" that was mentioned earlier in this thread, but u will barely see it when using your phone.
How's the scratch resistance on this one? I'm on my last Orzly TGSP, which lets in dust from ever side, I'm looking for alternatives that at least don't scratch.

After a quick clean an inspection i noticed one single micro scratch. This is since day before original post.
Just installed this today. Haze from the liquid went away within hours and so far so good!
There is an "orange peel effect" and it doesn't feel like glass but those are a given, and expected, so no points off for these two things.
It's much better than any tgsp that I've tried, simply due to the fact that it's edge to edge. I couldn't stand
1. The lack of adhesive on the sides
2. The sides being significantly cut off
The "wet install" allows for you to have a perfect install as well, as you can slide it around and adjust it perfectly, before finally setting it in place.
I'll see how it holds up over time and will update this post if anything unusual happens with it!
I will also try and get some pics soon (if I remember lol)
For those of you with this screen protector, how did you end up aligning it correctly? There's a small amount of space around each cutout and I found with my initial installation that while those were lined up, with the Rugged Armor case installed I had a small gap on the right side.
Amazon's instructions say to install with the case already on but Spigen's does not so thought I'd ask how others got theirs to line up correctly.
I installed one of these tonight. I did it with the Spigen case installed, and centered the protector on that. Waiting for it to cure and lose the bubbles. It didn't look that bad to start and 3 hours later it is looking better.
At this point I would pay a premium for flat glass! I just don't enjoy these phones like I used to without a nice perfect TGSP!

I removed the case and wiped it down with the cloth. I left it out of the case to dry / cure.

For those of you with this screen protector, how did you end up aligning it correctly? There's a small amount of space around each cutout and I found with my initial installation that while those were lined up, with the Rugged Armor case installed I had a small gap on the right side.
Amazon's instructions say to install with the case already on but Spigen's does not so thought I'd ask how others got theirs to line up correctly.

On the Spigen install video at install.spiegen.com for the case friendly S8, they show putting it on with the case on. That's what I did. Spigen calls it full coverage but compatible with Spigen case.
After installing it then removing the case for drying and curing, the bubbles disappeared after about 18 hours, but I have one piece of trash trapped. After putting the case back on, it seems compatible but the film goes out to the border of the Spigen case without touching it, except it barely touches on the bottom. It is a very close fit, I believe putting it on without the case would cause problems with alignment.
Overall not bad, it is easier to align the film with the case on. The touch feel is OK for me.
Ultimate Shield Tempered 9H Glass screen protector
Hey guys, here is my review of the Ultimate Shield Tempered 9H Glass screen protector and I must say - I'm converted!!
Read on....(also see the attached pictures)
Contents:
- The tempered glass screen protector
- Screen cleaning cloth (wet)
- Dust stickers
- Microfiber cloth
Installation:
Be sure to do this in as dust-free environment as possible. I like the kitchen for this reason (no carpets for me there), or the bathroom works great too as you can use the steam from the shower to help any dust settle whilst you complete the install!
1. Using the wet cloth helps to give the screen a good clean removing any oily fingerprints and/or dirt.
2. The dry cloth dries the screen (don't worry, the wet cloth doesn't 'wet' it that much!) and the dust stickers are there to ensure any last little bits of dust aren't present.
You'll want to spend time on ensuring there are no little bits on your screen as this can spoil the look, at least to those who won't be able to stop noticing that little eyelash hair in the middle of the screen!
3. Carefully remove the protective layer of the screen protector, keeping the exposed glass side facing down. There is a slight adhesive, of some form, which any bit of dust/hair ending up there may be tricky to remove so make this step as swift as possible, taking extra care. Keep your thumbs/fingers away from that side of the glass to avoid any fingerprints getting stuck there, holding the protector by the side only.
4. Lower the screen protector towards your phone, but don't place it on quite yet. Really line up the protector, looking at it from directly above and I'd recommend using the camera cut out as the guide. Ensure the selfie-camera lines up nicely in the hole but also that the full length of the protector runs parallel to the phone.
5. Once you're happy with the alignment, place the protector on the screen, with the selfie-cam side down first, then slowly but firmly lowering the rest of the screen protector down. Or to say another way, press the top of the screen protector down and then press towards the lower end of the protector, until you reach the bottom speaker end.
6. Some bubbles may be trapped underneath the screen. Don't worry! Use your finger/thumbs to firmly yet carefully press out the bubbles, pressing it out toward's the edge of the screen. You can also wrap a credit card in the dry cloth, and use that as a way to force out some air bubbles.
If you're not happy with the alignment and/or have anything stuck under there, then it is possible to remove and reapply. Do this very carefully though, by using your nail to lift it up from the corner, taking extra care not to fingerprint that side of the protector. Use the dust sticker to remove any bits. Though again, be as quick as possible as whilst that side of the protector is exposed, more stuff might land there!
Impressions:
From being a long time user of the film screen protectors, those being 'wet installed' etc. I must say I have been converted! I did have my hesitations about using glass protection, as a while back I used one and it failed to impress me. Previously I had found this type of material, glass vs plastic film, would add a mirror-like reflection to the screen, even more so than the Gorilla Glass screen that the device already had. Also, with my love of AMOLED devices I found glass screen protectors would detract from the 'deep black' the screen would display, and make such colours more of a grey, which affected viewing pleasure.
But not with this one!!
Feel - I instantly fell in love with how this looked and felt. It has no loss of sensitivity and I have not felt the need to have to swipe harder or change the way I interact with the phone. It feels just as responsive as it did prior to installation!
Looks - There is no glare/mirroring effect and so as far as it's looks are concerned, it's practically invisible! The screen colours look as vibrant as they did before and blacks still look as deep as they did
Fit - As you can see I have this installed with this rugged case and it fits PERFECTLY. This case slightly lips over and so there is no dust being trapped around the edge of the screen protector. I'd presume it will also be compatible with other cases too, as it is full coverage, going right to the edges with it's own bezel, not just covering the screen.
I highly recommend the use of this screen protector, for the added peace of mind that the screen is further protected against scratches etc.

@cd993 thanks for the nice review. I also normally don't like the complete glas, but bought a similar one. I'm also quite happy with it except one thing which disturbs me a little bit. Mine has the black frame around it ( which is in itself not a problem) and this is taking away just a tiny bit from the screen (maybe half a millimeter on the left and right). Is it the same with your one ( from the pics it looks like it also has the black frame). That it take away a bit of the screen is only noticeable when using apps which really starting text completely on the left side ( like the netguard log for example )

Thanks! To be honest I don't think it does. I've just looked at various apps, such as matlog/play store etc and no noticeable screen cut off

Thanks, I maybe give that one a try then . Just to make clear for everybody. The app in the pic I attached in my former screenshot really starts at pixel 0 on the left side... It's really not a lot what's missing....

Thanks for the review mate!! I've used US's products before and I think they're the best screen protector I've ever used.
Ordered mine 2 days ago and can't wait for it to be delivered, I miss the sensitivity and feel that those usually have.

I have applied this protector too....
Always had phones without screenprotector because I hate them... It takes away the feel of the phone... Bubbels underneath glass etc etc.
Bought it because I saw some scratches on the screen coming.
So after this positive review gave it a try. But man I must say it's a great quality.
Applying is very easy off course look for dust... Becaue I had one.... Took it off which is very easy to do... Rinsed it off under water....
Take two was a succes.... Didn't dry it just putt it on the phone and wipe wipe wipe and a lot of patience....and rubbing. It was bubble free.
But glad I did it.... In fact I find the screen better looking.. Bit of 3d effect...
Fp and typing is as normal.
Only con its a bit heavy....
Don't compare this to a 5 dollar screenprotector which is also the reason why I hated them.

I'm using a chinese version but have some issues. The protector have some kind of bend and it causes a bubble impossible to remove just in the front camera. Because of that my front cam don't focus right.

@cd993 from the pictures you attached it seems the screen protector has real curved edges. Am I right or is just my impression? If you could add more pictures where we can see how curved are the edges without the case, I would appreciate.
I'm looking for a good screen protector that has curved edges so I can use a slim cover.
Currently I have a Cafele full screen protector (bought on AliExpress for 4 USD), which is good and has a nice feeling, looks very similar to this one, but it doesn't have curved edges and because of that it doesn't stick very well in the corners, if I use a slim case.

Hmm I remember then being curved yes, but no overly so.
Either way I certainly recommend it and fitted it great, as well as being case friendly, in my experience
