Hi, I am having problem with touch buttons some times they work and then stop. So can some one recommend me any tweak or a ROM similar to stock that I can flash to solve this issue.
Many custom ROMs include navbar. That's the closest to stock buttons option. If your rom doesn't include it, you can add it with xposed Installer and gravitybox. If you want enhanced functionality and a non stock look, try LMT.

Hello there.
I'm not a quite noob, know usual flash things.
I am currently use CleanRom 4.4 Pro version, but it happens all the roms of firmware 3.11.605.22 and also recent leak 3.13.605.7.
First of all, the stock leaked rooted roms are fine.
All the other roms which are customized by devs here (ICS sense 3.6) have the problem.
I usually use apps for screen off. (tasker, go launcher function, or "Screen off and lock")
When I turn off the screen with those apps, it reboot the phone.
I figured out android.policy.jar has the problem.
All the customized roms have APM in the android.policy.jar file.
I replaced the file to stock, the problem is gone.
The thing is, I also wanna use "volume wake" function, which is also in the same file.
Volume wake mod usually contain APM, so it occurs screen off-reboot.
Is there any way to use "screen off apps" and "volume wake" together in ICS sense 3.6 roms?
Sense 4 roms have bluetooth issue, so I do not want to use them yet.
So I don't know why, I have tried this on two different roms. Flashing the 8/25 ktoonsez kernel makes my back and and menu button not work at all, doesn't light up or vibrate or anything. I followed the instructions exactly but they don't work . Currently on the latest hyperdrive rom.
I recently reverted back to stock Bell Atrix firmware (rooted) . I cannot find a setting to stop the volume keys from waking the screen up. Is this not part of the stock firmware? Is there a. MOD that I could use? Everything I search for shows me enabling mods, but not disabling.
Thanks
To my knowledge no stock firmware has the wake-on-volume feature by default. You must've either flashed a mod or flashed a ROM that has the mod included. Try looking for an unmodded fruitcake.

I didnt flash any mods. Just flashed the stock atrix firmware and rooted. Then i noticed that the volume keys wake the screen up.Thanks
You are right. I did install "no lock" from the market. That is waking up the phone with volume key. So I guess this is only possible on a custom rom?
Based on scrubbers lollipop port:
This mod is for you who prefer the back navigation bar button on the right, and recent apps button on the left.
Instructions: Flash the attached zip in recovery.
Note: Use a system wide dpi of 320 with this mod.
Status: Beta 1
Uploaded: 2014-12-06
If you wish to stay with the buttons layout and just want to fix the spacing if you are on a lower DPI, check out my other mod here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z-ultra/themes-apps/mod-fix-navbar-spacing-lower-dpi-t2963107
Edit 2014-12-08: Added a revert zip. Flash in recovery if you want to restore the original SystemUI. Note that this restores your SystemUI to it's original state.
@pemell Do you have any ideas on how to have four soft keys? I am using an xsposed module that gives a fourth one for menu button and have gotten really attached to having it.
Yeah, I used it too back in the days, but i can't see any need for it now, especially with lollipop.
Added a revert zip to the OP. Flash in recovery if you want to restore the original SystemUI. Note that this restores your SystemUI to it's original state.
Thanks a lot mate! I have been looking for this all day. My dpi is set to 320, but I think the buttons are a little bit too close together now, they weren't before I flashed your zip. Would it be possible to make a zip with the 'default' button density but the back button on the right and the recents button on the left?
I've tried this on 280DPI but the softkeys won't swap?
Don't work on lollipop 14.5.A.0.270
Hi guys,
It does not work on the latest update lollipop.
The status bar and the navigation bar disappear. I did wipe Dalvik / Art cache.
Restore the default button does not work, the status bar and the navigation bar have disappeared....great...........

Have this problem also. Can someone help us to fix this?
hi I am looking for modifications that will allow me to close the application by prolonged pressing back.
What rom are you using?
Have your looked in the Developer's Tools, should be at the bottom.
If you have Xposed you can use Gravity Box module. There a setting for that on there. Done the same on Lollipop, mainly to shorten the long press delay.
I use Stock rom deodexed 4.1.2, version modem - I9100XXMS4, number version - ALEXNDR.I9100XWMS3

Try in phone settings and about phone, tapping build number until it says development options enabled. And if that works you should have development options in phone settings now. Right at the bottom of development settings should be back to kill. If not you can't use it unless you have a custom rom. Been a while since I've used stock.
Unfortunately it did not work, but I worked it out by installing modifications.
Thank you for tryin to help.
