Not for Sprint variants... we aren't even unlocked yet...
Your best bet is to watch the bootloader unlock thread in the AT&T G3 General forum (stickied). It will be posted everywhere when it's achieved but that's the home base for the discussion. thecubed is the most vocal of the devs teaming up on the project and he's on AT&T so that's where he posts. The thread is quiet the last few days, he had a busy weekend so he is a bit behind where he wants to be, but he's definitely going for it.
Once bootloader is unlocked there should be a significant upswing in development - TWRP will come quickly, then stock rooted debloated ROMs, then the tweaked ROMs with themes and all that, then AOSP and CM and ports and whatnot. That's my prediction, anyway.

Going to start a ROM bounty here.
Plain and simple i love the idea of the ROM and would like to see a stable build for us.
Bounty will be played upon dev completing a stable build with no major bugs (ie. cell/data/3g,late working/MMS,GPS etc)
I know this can be done and would love to do it if i had the skill sets or the time.

They can flame all they want. Doesn't bother me. I'd like to see some new stuff in the community and am willing to fork out some money to see it. There may or may not be others that feel the same way but hey that's their opinion.

Yeah I've tries it as well as a few other ppl here phone FCS along with contact storage.
I manages to get data working with some edits but no one can get cell service ie. Phone calls to work even when using an alternate dialer like exdialer. Simply says dialing and never goes through.
I also tried the porting tool same issues

To be honest, I have no clue and don't care . I never wait for carrier updates anymore, just flash the international rom and get updates that way. Just my opinion.

I for one am totally over sitting around waiting for crappie carrier updates that only bring more bloat and potential bootloader locks. If version numbers are important to you, I would get a Nexus.

I agree with you sentiment. I can't wait to get android 4.2. I'll get it early because I'm already using Cleanrom 2.5 which is 1.29 based. I know it will eventually go to android 4.2, I'll flash and then I doubt I'll notice it on a day to day basis. If I get a little better battery life, I'll be ecstatic.

So it is, I thought it had been updated to the 1.29 based kernel. I was flashing the ElementalX kernel over Cleanrom but didn't do it when he went to Cleanrom 2.5. Thanks for pointing that out, I was mistaken.

Well guys, I'm having some scary thoughts about upgrading to a 5s from my s4. I really don't want to, but I am confused about the bootloader. I've searched the forums high and low for the information I've been trying to look for. Honestly, I was just wondering if the bootloader will eventually get unlocked.
Is it possible? Have the devs given up? Safestrap is amazing by the way. Using it right now with hyperdrive. I just haven't seen any chatter about it. I am no way complaining I am just lacking the information. I am having internal memory issues.
Some please ease our minds (and mine for that matter) about this situation. Please, steer me away from the 5s. I am hardcore android. Is the s4 worth keeping? Is anyone else going to (it have) replace the s4?

I recently switched from the iPhone 5 to the S4 because it was just an iPhone. I even enjoyed jailbreaking my iPhone and it wasn't all that great. No customization like what's allowed on android. Hope you choose to stay.

Yeah man the iPhone 5S has nice features but I'm telling you it's not worth it. The iPhone is smoother but you lack on a lot of customization. Your iPhone will look exactly like anyone iPhone 4 out there and that's 3 generations old.

Kexec is like a hijack of the kernel. It pretty much loads a custom kernel on top of the stock one.

The main benefit of getting kexec support would be that people could flash aosp roms. As im sure you already know currently there is only support for touchwiz based roms on ss.

Yes. AOSP is a must. It would really help people with internal memory such as myself. Do you know if the boot loader itself is being worked on? Or are devs just exploiting it rather than fully unlocking it.

What do you mean by "whatever" you want? Install a ROM? Safestrap does that for you. Install a kernel? Hash is working on kexec.
I'm convinced most of the people complaining about the bootloader have no idea what they are talking about. You do realize that SS and kexec will be virtually grant you the same things an "unlocked" bootloader does.
Loki is another exploit on MDK devices that gives you the same capabilities, many people even think that the MDK has an unlocked bootloader, lmao.
Again I ask, what are you hoping to do with an unlocked bootloader that SS and kexec cannot do?

Whoa there cowboy. Well for one, it won't be unlocked. So there's the obvious one. I'm not complaining, so there's one problem lol. I am very aware of what safestrap is. No, 16 is enough. But its really 8 or something because of the OS. Obsession with the boot loader? Dude I just want carriers to stop locking up the bootloaders to my devices that I pay for. Just because its locked doesn't mean I want it unlocked. Done with this I just wanted info and I got it so thanks I guess. petition has 250 sigs so pretty awesome.

@freeza Deodexed the stock MI5 ROM, you could build your own ROM out of that.
@JoshBeach and Team Venum have put heart and soul into their ROM and Mods, JellyBomb Domination, which is superb.
I could name many more names, and I would but you will see that in time ROMs will become available, it takes a lot of time and effort to put together something great, and its worth the wait. With that said, I will reiterate my appreciation towards JellyBomb Domination...

No maybe because T-Mobile doesn't even have it yet, because it's still in testing, noob! You honestly have no clue what you are talking about, but go ask people like Mike1986 or or developers like that and tell them mugetsu666 told you to ask. Or you could ask me as I am a developer or even behold_this or toby as we're all developers for this device in this forum and will tell you that you are Very wrong! If it was out there for T-Mobile, I promise you either myself or one of the other named developers would have roms up. You honestly have no clue what you are talking about, but go ask people like Mike1986 or or developers like that and tell them mugetsu666 told you to ask. Or you could ask me as I am a developer or even behold_this or toby as we're all developers for this device in this forum and will tell you that you are Very wrong! If it was out there for T-Mobile, I promise you either myself or one of the other named developers would have roms up. So stop acting like you know something and then calling others noobs, because they called you on it.

Very simple to be honest I got a tmobile non dev phone just rooted n the update is coming up I even took a screenshot to prove it but not enough for u guys n I flash a stock 4.3 from here n it doesn't say anything bout it bn dev or unlocked so I thought it be a good idea to say something I'm not s off or anything so I guess I'm just wrong then it's like getting accused of murder with evidence that it wasn't me with u guys GEES

Your "evidence" is the exact thing that proves that you are mistaken. T-Mobile ROMs are all numbered x.xx.531.x (ie 3.24.531.3), while HTC developer ROMs are all x.xx.1540.x (ie 4.06.1540.2).
I will explain this further to you so you don't make this mistake again, using the 4.06.1540.2 rom as an example. The version number breaks down as follows:
4.xx.xxxx.x = fourth Android base for device, in this case KitKat 4.4 (4.1.2, 4.2.2, 4.3, 4.4)
x.06.xxxx.x = Rom build
x.xx.1540.x = developer edition device
x.xx.xxx.2 = build reversion number
So, now, as you can see, it really doesn't matter what you THINK, you were in fact mistaken when you claimed the T-mobile variant of the ROM was available . It would have been big of you to just admit that you were mistaken and move on instead of posting here (and other threads) over and over to try and convince the rest of us you're right and in the process insulting others and calling them noobs.
Most of us know the real deal. To say your phone is untouched is just not accurate. You would not have received the OTA without modifying the device in some way. Now I'm not going to get into a debate with you about what you did or didn't do, though I'm sure you'll post back saying once again you've done nothing, the fact is your evidence is against you.

I didn't say untouch I know better than that I just don't know what ruu I have that the update shows up which clearly is dev or unlocked but the real question was y it's not letting install if it coming up on my phone

You did to say untouched. You said ur not unlocked or on dev edition, that you were stock T-Mobile. So now you don't know what ruu you've run on ur phone which means you're at least unlocked and most possible S-off. I think it's best if you just stop now before other people really tell how You have No clue what you're doing or what you're talking about!
