Hi,
I had installed CM11 on my droid Razr using the Safestrap utility.
I created a rom slot activated it and then installed CM11 over it.. but now i am planning to sell my droid Razr....
So i wanted to remove everything and make it stock like... and so i deleted the safestrap application and was about to unroot my phone when i saw that my internal storage is still showing only 8GB as its size...
I am wondering where did the other 3GB (the partition that i created using safestrap) vanish ??
Can someone help me get all my empty space back by helping me deleted the partition...
Thanks
Only 8gb is usable always.

The partition exists as a file on the internal storage. I can't remember the name off hand but it should be obvious due to its size and name. Just delete the file to reclaim the space.

Hi all! I got my Razr Maxx in Singapore... just as Motorola was announcing it's pull-out from my region :crying:
Anywayz, I installed BMM and I quite like it, but I have a question:
I have my daily driver in slot-1, and I just installed a CM10-based rom on slot-2 (the special one that apparently uses unused partition space in Motorolas.
I was thinking of testing my slot-2 ROM further and installing apps, etc, so my question is, where are all these apps installed? Will they eat up usable space from my Rom Slot-1 system?
If 1 day I decide to packup my slot-2 system, how do I delete the slot-2 rom and all the associated data, apps etc?
If there's a BMM thread you guys could point me to would be much appreciated.
Cheers!
Slot-2 uses webtop partition which is unused of size 1.8GB and no it wont eat up any space from slot-1 as this is different partition....If u want to format then just goto format options in recovery of system-2 and format webtop partion...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2149286 link to BMM support page
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1720351 link to BMM 02.7 which has answers to ur question
BMM 0.3.4, which is the only supported version at the moment (the current version is available in the Play Market), uses completely different approach, so you need to clarify which one you installed.
I'm using BMM 0.3.4
Got it while installing the Vodafone 4.1.2 ROM... now exploring other 4.2.1 or 4.2.2 ROMs using slot-2
Also, another query, I don't have an SD card in my phone, and my internal SD card isn't mounted when I boot to slot-2 on cm10.1 based ROMs! How do I manually mount it.. tried a few suggestions in various forums, but still doesn't work (camera app exits and says no SD card
Hey everyone,
So I hope this hasn't been asked before but I couldn't find it anywhere...
I have the ME7 Galaxy S4 and I just installed BoneStock ROM via SafeStrap. When I booted up the ROM for the first time, the Play Store immediately started restoring all my apps. About halfway through it says "Insufficient Storage Space" and stops installing apps. However, when I go into my storage in the settings, it says I have 5gb available (I'm assuming this is what I partitioned out for the SS Rom Slot 1) on my device, and 28GB available on my SDcard. Is there anyway to move all the stuff having to deal with SS and ROMs to my SD card and leave the device storage alone? What is the point of having 32GB of storage space on my SDcard if I can't even use it for anything useful?
Any ideas on how to proceed?

Wait for Safestrap to be updated. There isn't extSdCard support yet. I beleive that its being worked on though (based on user comments, not the developer.)
Hit thanks if I helped you out.

You probably made the slot 1gb. Redo & try 2gb slot. Even 3gb if needed.

^^ This.
Hi all,
I had a question about removing partitions from the internal storage of my phone. When I went to install Hyperdrive on my phone, I think I made too many partitions not realizing what I was doing. Now that I've learned a bit more, I was hoping to experiment with other ROMs too see if any others were more suitable to my tastes, but don't seem to have enough space to create any more partitions.
Is there anyway to wipe the partition walls so I can use more than one ROM Slot in Safe Strap?
Also, since I'm thinking about it, is it ok to delete the install files for Hyperdrive from my storage (internal or SD) once the ROM has been installed on my phone?
I'm not sure about safestrap don't use it but yes you can delete the install files.

Hey all, I'm having a wee bit of troubles with getting this hyperdrive install to work. I'm using this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2301724
Here's what I'm having trouble with. When I go to create a virtual slot for a ROM, it gives me an assumed partition of over 5GB. I can only change the data partition size. I have watched videos of SS working well with the install, but when I go to boot options, it doesn't give me the option for partition size. SS version is 3.71. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Also, any way to free up any more system memory? I heard that Android takes up almost 8GB on these phones alone. So am I screwed for not getting a 16GB model (if they have one, idk)?
You need to flash a rom on the stock slot to be able to use all available space. This isn't supported by hashcode, the developer of safestrap, so be aware of the risk. Make sure you have odin and a tar file ready

I have a 16 gb s4 and run 2 custom roms as well as the stock rom. I moved all data to my 32 gb extsd card.

Hello all. Recently i installed Liquid Smooth 3.2 on my droid razr maxx and i have been having a great time. My only issue is the limited app data (i was limited to 3GB at creation due to the version of safestrap i was running). I just upgraded to the most recent version of safestrap which allows higher than 3GB data partion. If i were to backup my ROM, delete the rom slot, recreate it with a bigger data partion and then restore via backup would that work or would there be issues due to the change in partion size?

I don't believe that would cause any issues, but like any software mod, be prepared if it doesn't work. Worst case scenario, you should be able to go back to the previous SS and restore the rom there.

I did it without a issue. Sadly though i had 6GB of available space it only allowed 4GB for the data partion (i could put it at 6 and create the slot but once the slot was created it would go down to 4gb)
