not to long ago they offered a promotion for new LG G3 customers that they would get a free 2nd battery and dock for the battery. I, of course, purchased my G3 before the promo. Long story short, I went to LGs website and *****ed and they sent me a EXCEL file to fill out and email back so I can get the promo. So i thought I would share and see if you guys wanna try it as well.
you just need to fill it out, send it to their email [email protected] and put this in the subject "LG G3 Battery Promo – Previous Purchaser"

I got the confirmation email about a week ago, still no sign of a tracking or shipment notification

I purchased mine on the 7th, the promotion was from September 8th through the 22nd. I figured I would try and do it anyways; luckily for me I had filled out 2 of them. Upon letting them know my situation and only being a day out of the promotion period, I received an email stating "although you are out of the purchase period, customer service is our top priority."
Shortly after that, I received a response back saying unfortunately your application has been turned down for the reason of "not purchased within the promotion period." I thought to myself, yeah, customer service is our top priority my a$$. Good thing I did fill out two of the forms, because a couple days later I received an email stating it was approved. This was roughly 7 days ago. I still have yet to receive shipping information, but none the less the status is still "approved" ; free is free. If they still have the site up to access, I would recommend just trying to anyone who has not yet. It's worth a shot, if so, fill out a couple extras so different people will review them.

Thanks for posting this. I just got my phone Saturday and forgot to bring the paperwork in to work with me today, and I think the promo ends today. I got it sent off!!

Got my confirmation email today on this. It says I should expect another email with packaging info within five days. :good:

I was getting ready to email and complain as well since mine was purchased about a week before the promotion. I was already denied through the original form, just sent this form off. While I like having a 10000mah battery, I'd much rather have a fully charged smaller one I can have as a backup. Such a great promotion, happy to be able to take advantage of it!

I got my phone a week before launch and I filled this out and was also able to get approved for the promo for both g3s I out purchased. If you read the email with approval, it says it takes 4-6 weeks for delivery.

I was also an early adopter of the LG-G3 and i am happy to see that they are treating us the same for this promotion. I got my email 2 weeks ago saying my battery will be shipped out in 4-6 weeks. Good on LG to offer this to us.

Followed the steps as posted and got an email yesterday from LG saying it will be shipped in 4 to 6 weeks time. Many thanks to the OP! I bought the phone back in July so was not expecting it to get approved but LG did it!

O Docks, Where Art Thou

Still nothing, customer service says if I don't see it by this weekend they will send me a new one. Plus it just so happens I sent in that rebate for the free dock and paid the investment of $10.50 to the U.S.Merchants. I have yet to see either one. Anyone in the same boat still? When all is said and done I might have 2 docks. Unless we have another snow storm.

Try checking your tracking number against whatever your mail provider is (mine showed up on CanadaPost).
If it still doesn't turn up I would raise an issue with paypal/your credit card company. Merimobiles has lied to me about shipping details, there's no reason for them to have your money.
I have ordered two items from china in January. One cleared Shenzen on 1/15 and I got it on 2/6. The other cleared on 1/23 and I got it on 2/8
It seems things have really slowed down from there on china post airmail
Merimobiles is a terrible vendor. They are doing the same bs to me (even after completely admitting that the shipping problem is thier mistake). They are a bad company that doesn't take care of its customers. I highly suggest that everybody avoids doing business with them.

I order on the 12/26 and have the exact same as the above, with the exact reply from merimobiles about shipping another if I don't get it by this weekend. Unless they overnight it why would I expect that a second one would make it to me.

I ordered my Dock 12/30/2010, received a "Your Order Has Shipped" email on 1/19/2011. Got my Tracking Number and this is what was reported:
Destination - United States of America
The item (RB176555762HK) is being processed for departure from Hong Kong as of 22-Jan-2011.
It looks as though it is still being processed! I sent an email to [email protected] so they could explain the status delay. No response 2nd request was sent today.

FWIW - I ordered a Leather Case w/ USB keyboard & Mini Bluetooth QWERTY keyboard w/ touchpad and laser pointer from Ankaka.com January 6, 2011.
The tracking system provided this response:

So, my Ankaka items are officially in the mail and should arrive San Jose, CA any day. My merimobiles.com Docking station is still in Hong Kong being processed for departure.
It seems that merimobiles choose the cheapest delivery option each time they ship something. Like they try to accumulate packages to make one huge shipment to US for less money.
If you go to the USPS web site and under tracking teb enter the track number, you can see progress once they receive it.
Damn... did you all forget it's a slow boat to/from China?
My dock took almost 30 days to arrive from Merimobiles. It was a race between the doc and usb keyboard case I ordered. The doc won by 3 days.
I decided to e-mail them being as nice as I possibly can here is the reply e-mail:

I got a few emails from Janey too. I already did my venting on another thread, but this company is horrible. I think that their support people are all the same person. Always say sir. Always is all lower case. Always bad grammar and you are lucky if the sentence make any sense. The last response I got six days ago said that they would check on my order, but crickets since then.
Then I call up US Merchants to see why I still haven't received my rebate dock from 11/26 purchase and they say that they are having trouble getting the docks from Viewsonic and it will be at least another couple weeks before they get them.
I am livid.

We do have a policy when it takes over 1 month we reship or refund. Many people have received there docking stations already. Shipping times are back to normal, and contrary to what 1 member claimed we don't chose the cheapest way possible to ship, its a regular mail shipping item like any other item, and every year during the holiday time there is always delays in the mail. Things are back to normal now, we can assure you on our part we ship them promptly, its unfortunate some people had to experience delays from the mailing system. I was stating I had both Merimobiles and U.S.Merchants both sending me docks since Dec. of 2010 and have not seen either one and was wondering if others had received theirs yet. You do however get a +1 for lurking the XDA forums. Janey has been nice answering my questions and she did state that if I didn't get it by this weekend that I could have you guys refund or resend it to me. So I'll correspond with her later this afternoon if I haven't seen it.
One plus on still not receiving a dock from merimobiles, where my order was placed on 12/26. I read the statement above with respect to bad weather. Didn't we hear a similar story from another supplier of cases? Basically I don't accept the weather argument....
Any advice on how to proceed with a refund request?

Do you see any update when you track your number on htc website?
Oh, I brought mine into an AT&T store. I got the money in the form of promotional cards right there at the store. I didn't want to risk sending the phone through the mail and I didn't want to wait.
I assume others got their $100 money already, or are there not many people trading up their phones ?
I got my visa credit card Saturday. The status page was never updated to reflect that the phone had been received or processed.

I sent my inquiry, got an auto response only, and never got the real answer. On the 7th week now.
I guess my phone was too old for them to pay $100 (hTC fuze). Should have just kept it. Love that phone.

Never an electronic item though, just the occasional case. They seem alright, plus you can get a free microfibre cloth if you use a certain voucher code (I forget what).
Ordered mine straight away, as the pre-orders I saw in The Netherlands were €300,- (Total Bull**** right?)

MobileFun attach a letter to the box explaining that you shouldn't get it until the 7th because it won't be fully functional until then but they want you to have it early so you're ready to go etc.

I have NO loyalty to Googles Play Store. Returning seems like a nightmare (many issues with my faulty N10) and the delivery charge is a rip-off.

Just checked the status of my order (placed 2nd July @ 09:40) and it's now changed from "queued for processing" to "Sorry, this item appears to be out of stock". Looks like they accept orders willy-nilly and not on quantity actually in stock at the time of ordering. I very cleverly cancelled my Play Store order already, so it's maybe someones way of telling me to wait for the 360
edit: product page says due back in stock in 2 days time.
Decided to cancel my order, and get it from Google Play instead.
First MobileFun weren't happy with my payment method (Mastercard); so I used PayPal instead.
Then their security team apparently weren't happy with my address I gave them; they said they tried to call me yesterday to confirm my address.
No missed calls, no voicemail.
Customer service asked if I wanted to verify my address...
By now, the watch is out of stock. Despite me ordering within minutes of them announcing it.
Not very impressed, and most likely won't order from them again. Not for electronics anyway.
^I hear you. I've just sent them my "thoughts" on the matter. That said, I've had a good few things from them in the past with now bother so I'm cutting them some slack. Their stock level calculations are obviously not to be trusted so I'll certainly think twice about ordering from them again.

Same here, cancelled my order. pre-ordered it from a shop in The Netherlands.
Selling a device saying it will be dispatched immidiatly and then say "oh its out of stock". not too impressed with that.
(As a web developer, I also find it a weird way of doing it. A proper system would be a count behind the article and every time someone purchases it the count goes count -1. till the point it has to say its out of stock.)

Really odd, ordered mine at 11:45 today and my status is packing ready for dispatch. Holding my breath now to see whether mine gets pulled. Maybe LG have leaned on them for delivering early.

It's not your fault so don't you worry. It did lead me to just cancel the order completely and take my money (which they still have!) elsewhere. I'll not be ordering from them again!
Well, yep my order also went south. Made my feelings known to them as well.
I think I will wait until next week now, see the first full reviews, make a decision then.

I got an email "Your Groupon Goods order has shipped" with the tracking number (it links to Groupon's website)
Mine just shipped from Michigan! I live in Indiana so it shouldn't be too long! I should get it tomorrow or Saturday! Such a long wait though :/

I put my claim in on the 10th of this Month still no sign of them yet.
My claim was validated on the 1st of September, so 26 calendar days gone, but only about 16 working days.
No new emails since then. I check the website claim tracker occasionally and it just say to check my email.
I'm probably looking at around the middle of October before i receive them long time to wait i think.
They probably show up one day out of the blue, unless LG send a dispatch email beforehand.
Shipped today.
