Hi, I have android kitkat running on my Sony Xperia E3. I use it in India with Airtel as the wireless provider.
The issue is whenever I use any amount of 3g it gives a popup USSD message. I have to press ok many times to remove this annoying message.
Is there any app in google play store that will disable popup of these USSD message and works in Android Kitkat?
Kindly assist! Thanks a lot!
I tried ussd notification but it doesn't work on kitkat

As most of us know samsung have secret hidden menues for testing hardware functionalities using secret codes which are only avaliable through dialer , so as we dont have dialer , I've found this app on market that can acess the hidden menues without using the dialer , its name is SGS secret codes https://market.android.com/details?...wxLDEsImNvbS5saWRyb2lkLnNncy5zZWNyZXRjb2RlIl0.
wow thanks .

Ics isn't Samsung. That's why it doesn't work. Get back on a Samsung rom and it will.
works here on ICS AOKP -p4 P7500, but only some of the buttons/codes.
Anyone knows an App or method to enter custom GSM codes ? I need that to show remaining monthly Data volume of my Prepaid SIM. Should be something like *100#

Hey there.!
The topic says it. All the time when I try to enable the notifications from the XDA App it comes up with an error message telling me that there are no accounts to get notifications but I am logged in :O?
Exactly same issue to me as well.I am using SGS2 on ics 4.0.3.

Hi, how can i uninstall my stock MMS permanently? Because when i tried to uninstall/delete it then reboot my phone a notification always appears, it says something like "system ui stopped". Because i want to use my Kitkat's Hangout app as my default MMS app.
My phone is Xperia Ray and i'm on SlimBean ROM 4.2.2 CM10.1.

Hmmm...install Hangouts app first and make sure its become a default app for your message....then you can uninstalled/delete mms apk from your devices...
if its doesn't work then just freeze mms app...

I just froze my stock mms app now after reading this as today I installed Hangouts 2 and want to do the same as you, it worked no problem here running Slim Bean build 2 (JellyBean 4.3.1)
I personally believe your issue is because you're running 4.2.2

Hey
When I want to call someone from the messaging app the window pops up. If I want to call with phone or viber. And I click phone and always, not just once. But when I click call again the window pops up. And in app setting none of the apps are set as default.
Anyone knows a solution or encountered this problem?
Yeah I have the same problem with message app and viber, haven't found fix so far

Tried with hangouts worked without issues. Guess the only solution is uninstall viber?

I'm using sony xperia z2 non rooted. While on voice calls the keyboard doesn't pop up. As soon as I hang up the call the keyboard shows immediately. I've tried this booting the phone in safe mode and everything is fine there.
